Creepiest Marriage Proposal Ever

Monday, September 24th, 2012

It is interesting to compare “Why We Left” with the David P Goldman “Confessions of a Coward” essay.  Granted, they’re not perfectly analogous in proported form and function, but it’s close enough in to draw a conclusion:  the former is brave; the latter isn’t.  Goldman’s essay is a series of dodges that fails to inform — and I note that the “time frame” is the least interesting of the dodges which is only so as symptomatic of the greater dodges — ie: the description of the cult as “gnostic”.  I would not point to Goldman if it weren’t for its continual play to mislead politically sympathetic readers.

By and by, here’s Goldman editorializing in favor of Dinesh D’Souza’s work.  Sure, I spotted the similarities.

The google news aggregator currently drops us this quote for Larouche.  “Is not simply a KGB agent in the ordinary sense”.  It comes out of this news aggregated piece, a kind of “Water Skiing Squirrel in History” item, as well the only news that Walter Mondale is making right now.  So what we see here is what item in Larouche history gets into some public memory space.  I can’t decide whether the lack of any real media outlets that would pick up on this — it’d be kind of a genre cousin to Vanity Fair’s satisfying the public’s interest in inner details of Scientology — is “just as well” or a bit of a shame.  My major issue there becomes nothing more than the thought that google news quotes should be something more pertinent than the 1984 campaign, and that some of this dips into the public domain of “go to” history on the cult for, for instance, whatever op editorial KP George and the Texas 23rd Congressional District writes in 2014 in the next Kesha Rogers primary campaign.

And I suppose the ratio of “Conspiracy News source” picks versus mainstream or political platform leads to the former, and thus Harley Schlanger works hard to get the money from that Ron Paul / Alex Jones get Gold for the Eve of the Economic Apocalypse contingent.  There is a now adversarial force out there — Webster Tarpley, who is, I guess, risking being placed firmly in the Barack Obama / Molly Kronberg Tyrannical Operation.  See here, with some speculation here:
He has some very rude things to say about ‘Libertarians’. I agree with him. Possibly Jones will stop interviewing him, since after all Jones is ready to die for Christian capitalist ‘freedom’. Tarpley says that the main Larouche current is now pro-Romney.
Jones also has this “false Right / Left dichotomy” game going, which would allow him to ignore the fact that, no, if you listen to Larouche and company closely he really doesn’t sound like a Libertarian.  I was wondering if Tarpley would bring up the “Why We Left” document for further chastisement, and more commentary here …
Please go to the 1:05 section and hear for yourself the accusations of Dr. Tarpley against Larouche as a CIA disinformation project using the WWL document. Are we seeing a top level plan by Obama using Dr. Tarpley to poach the best and brightest of the LYM? Was Dr. Tarpley in any pre resignation contact with the WWL crew? Does the fiendish Dr. Tarpley smell blood and weakness in Larouche and is moving in to secretly take over the all that Lyn has built over 45 years? Is this the revenge for those Weisbaden Beyond Psych sessions many years ago? Is Helga part of secret plan by Dr. Tarpley to take over the USA for the ELC once and for all?
On the other hand, we could be seeing a battle over face time on the Alex Jones show for book sales and revenue streams between Dr. Tarpley and the cult. If you start a few minutes earlier you can hear about how the CIA used “H.A.R.P.”
Sure, but this is Tarpley dot Net.  I will be more interested if he shares this claim on platforms he shares with Larouche… re… Jones…

So, the niqnaq blog’s favorite piece from the “Why We Left” concerns the claims of being connected to Major World Players via the Stanford Group. It’s easy pickings, and you can almost just throw a dart at the document and come up with something, this generation’s “Cuban Frog Men” scenario. But for a mass audience, nothing beats the salaciousness of… the Marriage Proposal from Hell.

This feeling of a growing dichotomy between Lyn’s select group and the rest of the youth was increased by the fact that everyone observed that Alicia was regularly accompanying Lyn up to his study, which was known to all as forbidden territory. Everyone noticed it, but no one said anything publicly.
“1) We”re dealing with a quality of a military operation. 2) Never gossip: if you gossip, you”ll be caught in lies (in military affairs, gossip is a crime. Those who perpetrate it are titled as gossips and liars.) “Even leading parts of the organization here participate in this”There are a lot of liars in this organization who think that it is just innocent gossip. They cannot be trusted. “Innocent lying” that you may commit, called gossip, is a crime. Don’t lie about anybody, or gossip about anybody. Cut it out” [I] picked up on some of it” The point is, we”re at war in a very real sense. [We”re] a few days away from being as good as dead, now Gossip: deal with instinctively: “where did you get that bullshit from, and why did you believe it?” Next time you catch yourself repeating gossip, kick yourself in the butt, and make it hurt, so you”ll remember it.”
She mentioned that Lyn had said some pretty strange things concerning his relationship with Helga. Soon after her mentioning this, Tarrajna said, “you mean, having to do with Alicia?” (or some mention of Alicia along those lines.) Liona was slightly surprised at her saying this, and took it as sufficient to go into a full recounting of the conversation that she and Michael had had with Lyn. The long and short of it was that he intended to marry Alicia, and was justifying this action to the two of them through a wild explanation of how he had stopped having sex after his heart surgery, how Helga had suspected him of being unfaithful while she was overseas in Germany, that they had split up, and since then had only had a “friendship.” Liona said she was shocked that Lyn had been giving them details of his sex life and relationship with Helga. According to Liona, Michael had tried to argue with Lyn about this, challenging the idea of him marrying Alicia, and that he had only had a “friendship” with Helga since they knew him and earlier. Lyn was reportedly stubborn, and would not back down on his intent, nor on his justification. This was very shocking news to Tarrajna at the time of course, but not too surprising, given what she had observed, not just the night before, but in the “Dialogue of Generations” shows featuring Lyn and Alicia. Liona was at her wit’s end, and they both agreed that it would be absolutely devastating to the organization if Lyn went through with it. They wondered if Lyn was mad. “How could he possibly do something like this? Does he not know what it would mean for everyone?” It came up that perhaps it was his fear of dying that was compelling him to cling to someone young for comfort. But no matter how they thought about it, it was still shocking and nothing could really be said to resolve the shock. Tarrajna told Liona that there was no way she could not tell this to Nick, but that she would not discuss it with anyone else. Lyn’s tirade against gossip earlier that day made the whole situation all the more unsettling. Tarrajna had no doubt in her mind that Liona was telling the truth. It was too crazy to make up, and for what motive? Tarrajna soon recounted to Nick the entire conversation she had had with Liona. They were both stunned with the overwhelming feeling of being on the brink of the disintegration of the entire organization. They felt certain that this would soon be revealed to all, whether Alicia agreed with it or not (which neither of them were sure of) and that that would cause the breakdown of the organization.
Lyn declared that the Russia trip would not happen.

“Why not?”
“I will be dead.”
“No, you won’t.”
“Yes I will.”
“No you won’t.”
“Dead!”

“Rick will not be handling your medicine, I will handle all of it. Rick won’t be able to kill you.”
Lyn continued to look both angry and despondent, asserting: “No. I will be dead. I will be dead, I will be dead, unless”(turning to Alicia) she says, “yes”.”
At this point Sky was confused. Lyn asked Alicia directly if she would ‘say yes.” Alicia looked uncomfortable and told him that he should come to the doctor’s. It became clear that Lyn was discussing marriage. Lyn then began to go through a description of his marriage with Helga, and that it had not been a real marriage for a long time, that it was only a “political partnership.” At this point, Lyn’s earlier peculiar comments in NECs about not having sex with Helga began to make sense. Lyn told an elaborate story that they had not been in a relationship ever since she had accused him of being unfaithful to her with another unnamed woman. 18 Lyn told Sky and Alicia that Helga had embarrassed him at that time period by trying to get him to have sex with her, and that for his health and political concentration, he decided he would no longer have sex after his heart attack. He also said that Ned Rosinsky cornered him during a check-up, and said that Viagra type drugs would not affect his heart, that he could indeed have sex with Helga.

Sky found a pretext to leave the room with Alicia, and asked her what the hell was going on. She said something along the lines of, “You see what I”ve been dealing with, this is what I”ve been talking about.”
“Well, this is a simple thing to deal with: just say no.”
“Do you really think so?”
“Yes, it’s going to destroy the whole movement!”
“Really?”
“Yes, really.”
“Well, I thought that, but then I thought of these great leaders in history who got to have a few more years and do amazing things because they took a new, younger mistress.”
She finally concluded she would say no, and they returned inside.

The next part about Sky Shields getting seduced by “Mathematicians” is in its way as notable.  Essentially to the question “Why did they leave?”, you go with a broad answer and then peer into specifics for each figure: Larouche wants to marry Alicia; Sky is being lead astray by Evil Math, and on.

European chimes in with this response to the recently departed Larouche members.

II.  So.  Kesha Rogers finally gets an event on the campaign calendar.
Event time:
Saturday, September 22, 2012 - 1:00pm to 4:00pm
Come get to know Kesha, ask questions about her platform, and pick up organizing material.
The campaign will be at the Sugar Land library on Eldridge.
550 Eldridge Road  Sugar Land, TX 77478

I trust it went well.

And a campaign equals some news coverage, which dovetails to some reverb.  See here.  To the comments.

Is she smoking PCP laced weed; her rambling abt impeachment and Hitler she sound wacked. On the deep end. She reversing things the republicans have done and blaming President Obama. Bye-girl
LITTLE GIRL…DO YO DAMN RESEARCH AND TURN OFF YOUR TV, YOUR SAYING THE SAME THING THE REST OF THE DUMB SLAVES ARE SAYING..I BET YOU REALLY THINK HE TELLING YOU THE TRUTH….GO RESEARCH AND YOU WILL SEE FOR YOUR SELF…WHY THIS LADY CAN’T RISCK HER LIFE FOR LIBERATION..WILL YOU? THEN SHOUT THE FUCK UP….
It is not President Obama who is the puppet…it is she whoever she is that is the puppet!!! She has forgotten who she is or ever was!! How disrespectful of her to put him and Hitler together in the same category!! What is her problem?? And…where did she come from?? Heifer…please take your ass backwards thinking and go somewhere with that bull!!
@KIM, DID YOU READ THE OBAMB HEALTH CARE? THEN AGAIN TO ALL OF YOU, BEFORE YOU COMMENT OR JUDGE HER…..GO DO YOUR DAMN RESEARCH…..FORGOT WHO SHE IS? NO YOU AND ALL OF YOU HAVE FORGOT WHAT THE CONSTITUTION SAYS AND IS ALL ABOUT…..DAMN I CAN’T BELIEVE THAT YOU WILL MAKE A COMMENT ABOUT SOMETHING THAT YOU KNOW NOTHING ABOUT….THAT IS MY DIF. OF A SLAVE (MENTALITY)….HOTEP!
@Suspect I actually did do my research….this chick has a problem, just like I said. As long as she feels it’s right to impeach President Obama and appeal to the masses she is the puppet!! They dangle string…and she dances for them!!
LAKESHA ROGERS spending too much time following Lyndon LaRouche LOST in 2010. Admit that your not a Democrat and accept being a LOSER.!!!
This gal could not impeach a flea and very glad she lost. Seems like a plant to me. She might as well consider her future as done and finished because the GOP has NO need for her once they have used her to do their work.
Is there an editor for this blog? First, the article reads like it was written by a first-grader (which is an insult to all first-graders, my apologies). Second, the woman featured is no one of prominence or importance, so why is she quote-worthy?
Let’s correct ONE fact. When Obama was elected President in 2008 and took office, Democrats in the U S Senate had 60 members in its caucus. That’s important to note because it meant Republicans could not block any of his legislation in the Senate.  [Nope.  Started with 58.  Republicans delayed the swearing in of Franken.  Then Specter switched and they had 59.  And by and by, the Democratic caucus trails off with several Democrats who’s political identity is marked by a need to “reach across the aisle” as a matter of course.]
SHE RIGHT ABOUT ONE THING OBAMA IS NOT REALLY RUNNING THIS COUNTRY. AMERICA NAS AND IS BEING RUN BY SATANIC BEINGS.

And here
What’s Kesha been smokin’ on?….lol…
Yeah…Kesha got 99 Problems and Obama ain’t it!! She thinks that it’s alright to compare him to Hitler of all people!! She is insane in the membrane…they need to vote her out!! I guess she thinks putting him down is going to make things better for her!! Heifer please….go get a reality check!!

It is here that I point to the Stealth Larouchie.  Who chimes in with a “May not be Hitler, but Obama’s pushing Republican Party” pitch.

Reds says:  Nah EUR, Kesha is not tea party material. She’s actually a progressive from the LaRouche Youth Movement. I took a closer look at her, and we may be looking at the next Cynthia McKinney, and exactly what the Dems need in the era of Obama. Unlike Cynthia, though, I hope she doesn’t do something stupid like leaving the Democratic Party for the political wasteland of Independent politics.
She also made a good point that Obama is a puppet of the bankrupt financial system. The Affordable Care act mandate is straight out of the Republican play book  […]  Some may say why now during the election, but Kesha’s campaign against the Ronald Reagan inspired Obama regime has been going for a long time. He may not be at Hitler’s level, but the likes of Obama and Bill Clinton who feel they have to govern by showing homage to Republicans and their radical ideas,

KESHA ROGERS CHIMES IN WITH:  Your article leaves out some very important facts. First, what makes Obamacare Hitlerian is nothing other than the Independent Payment Advisory Board,

From there we get some Obama supporters of the Health Care policy and the Stealth Larouchie chimes in with this bit of hypocrisy, charging that the Obama supporters are ignoring the Foreign Policy issue — where this poster just side-stepped Kesha Roger’s Hitler…

Reds:  Noticed how the Obama apologists always skirt the real issues surrounding his abominable behavior whenever he is called on it? Why is that they never talk about a Democrat signing a Republican law allowing American citizens to be detained indefinitely without charge?

More here (BET) and here...

 ok, she’s a nut.

You got that right Justone! A great big NUT!
Kent Rayford what he said!
What is crazy is that I am actually a bit of a conspiracy theorist,
and happen to believe there already exists bases on the moon…
So, if someone were to accuse me of being the pot calling the kettle black,
I suppose I could not fault them for doing so.
But come on now,
comparing the Affordable Care Act to Hitler and the holocaust… really?
tephanie – Remember the Honeymooners – Ralph Kramden use to say “To the Moon Alice” That’s just where they need to send her. And all those that think the way she does.
Besides her opposition to Obama she supports “space colonization and planetary defense.” In other words…she’s crazy as hell.
This women is an idiot and a nutjob. With a name like Kesha she should be watching her back!
What does that tell you about the Democrats in Texas’ 22nd congressional district? A democratic society depends on an informed and contemplative electorate. Obviously, the electorate in the 22nd district is uninformed and non-contemplative — or perhaps as crazy as she is.
A Larouche Follower. Why align yourself with the Democratic party when you are better suited for the Tea Party. And dislike of any politician doesn’t constitute grounds for impeachment, however it does indicate one’s ignorance of what impeachment is.
Is this real? I can’t actually believe that someone who looks as sane as she does is actually saying and thinking those things. I mean…she doesn’t even have those crazy Michele Bachmann eyes! LOL!

Getting more attention. Another cross for the “Impeach Obama for” — new issue: Obama is complicit in the Libyan Ambassadors’ deaths.  Uh huh.

And… from “pragmaticobotsunite“, some thoughts on Kesha Rogers. The Larouchies are as insane as the far right. Surprised that she’s even calling herself “Democratic.” nellcote. Larouch was formally kicked out of the Dem party back when. I wish they wouldn’t allow his disciples to on the dem ballot either.
And to top it all off, the current slogan for her website is “Save NASA, Dump Obama.”
larouchers are cia nasa operatives in training  (they wish.)

And.

… a racist message board chimes in on the comments (Note:  the comments are not really above or below the average for commenters of any race.)

III.  Post Office Tour.

Dateline La Conner

First, I established that Ken was aware of the basic facts behind the Holocaust. I wanted to be sure that he understood that Hitler tortured 6 million people to death. Mostly Jews, but also homosexuals, Romany, and a whole great whack of other people.
Innocent civilians, rounded up into boxcars, starved to death, tortured, medical experiments, ovens, cordwood.
Ken allowed as how yes, he understood these things. But he then proceeded to insist that Obama’s policies amount to the same thing. The same thing.
Regardless of your position on the political spectrum, there is nothing in contemporary American political policy that compares to the Holocaust. And saying otherwise is disrespectful to the six million people who died in Hitler’s camps. […]
When I phoned, the LaRouchePAC campaign staffer (who refused to give me his name) was extremely disrespectful to me. His voice dripped with sarcasm and mock disbelief that I would be upset at the Hitler comparison.
“I was going to take your complaint seriously,” he said, “but it sounds like you just got your feelings hurt by a sign.”
Those are his words. I wrote them down.
When I asked who I could escalate this to, he suggested that I email Lyndon LaRouche. When I asked for LaRouche’s email address, the LaRouchePAC staffer hung up on me.

LaRouchies are the left-wing version of Westboro Baptist Church. It honestly wouldn’t surprise me if they follow the same profit model of WBC of waiting for someone to physically attack them and then suing them and the authorities afterward.
The only thing that surprises me about this is that their disease has spread to La Conner.

Also, contrary to the other sign, I’m almost certain they wouldn’t want me to run for president.

A Santa hat… and a Hitler mustache… and a mushroom cloud…?  Are they just throwing clip art together on a sign?

(Also, I thought LaRouchies were extreme right, not left, wing. Well, it gets kind of hard to tell with the crazies.)

Dateline Smithtown.

Members of the LaRouche PAC protested Thursday outside of the St. James Post Office on Lake Avenue, with signs and speeches proclaiming President Barack Obama should be impeached.
The LaRouche PAC is an international campaign pushing for the impeachment of Obama, according to organizer Lynne Speed. Speed said the political action committee is calling for the immediate impeachment of the president for several reasons, mainly because of the murder of the U.S. Ambassador to Libya Chris Stevens.
“There was adequate notice, 72 hours before hand, to the administration that Ambassador Stevens actually said his life was threatened by Al Queda,” Speed said. “Obama did nothing for 72 hours and arguably for several weeks.”

I see these people from time to time in front of the post office. It’s best if you do not look them straight in the eye, just keep walking.
Isn’t there a law against obstructing a sidewalk?
Since I just want Obama fired ( not Impeached ) I was interested to hear what they had to say. I made the MISTAKE of giving them my phone number and rest was history. It’s interesting that while I think that moron North Country Peace Group that gathers on 25A in Setauket is creepy, this smaller group scary….
Everyone has the right to protest and everyone has the right to believe in their causes but this group is really just too much. I have seen them in other years. They choose the Post Office location since people use that facility for their “mailing” needs. They are operating on hate which I “hate” to see from either party. They’ll be gone soon after the election so just try to “grin and bear it.”

Dateline Massachusetts
Obama as Joker pisses me off more…
Holy shit, where are you? That’s like 10 minutes from me.
Is there a bucket of money there?  I would pull over, take the money and donate it to Obama! LOL
This is the scat of the elusive Larouchie.  Don’t startle them. They attack with little provocation. And they’ve been around forever.
I like to honk and give them the finger
Crying for attention.
A cashier at a store I once frequented was a LaRouche fan. She gave me a couple of booklets.  This was back in 1997-98 by the way.
Anyhow, she gave me a couple of these booklet things to read, and spent a couple of minutes as she rang up my purchase explaining to me how great Mr. LaRouche was. Being amenable to third parties, I was impressed and hopeful as I walked home with my groceries…and booklets. Something about “A New Breton Woods”.
I started reading this literature, and I swear on the graves of myself and my entire freaking family that it was like falling down the rabbit hole. Nothing but a bunch of long sentences and paragraphs which barely even made sense if you were lucky.
After a few days of repeated attempts to make sense of it all, using it as bathroom reading material, I tossed the booklets out. I also did my best to steer conversation with my health food store acquaintance away from LaRouche.
So I did a little bit of research on him, and if it were possible to find a bigger douche bag on the planet then Romney it’s Lyndon Larouche. How could this clown ever have had a D next to his name? With his position on the environment. Claiming such outrageous things as DDT was not harmful to the environment. An extreme enemy of labor going as far as creating an organization to pretend to be allies of unions, but in reality their agenda was to stir up trouble among union leaders. He ran for President 7 times, and if this fool were ever elected he would’ve had us in a war with Britain. His political followers were, and still are nothing more than a cult.

IV.  Sales Job.  What they’re saying….
He seems like a gentlemanly old geezer who never got the memo about the Cold War ending. Always harping on about the possibility of a thermonuclear war erupting between the big three (Russia, China, and USA). He seems so opposed to Obama, you’d think it was old-fashioned racism or prejudice. However, he also seems well educated and claims to base his opinions on Obama’s track record and facts on the ground.
He’s convinced that a war with Iran would lead to a devastating nuclear conflict, and basically “the end of humanity” and all that. Apparently all the chess pieces are slowly coming together with the US encircling Russia and China and preparing for a giant conflict, using the Middle East as the starting point. However, unlike all the youtube “crazies” who are easily dismissed as conspiracy nutters, he’s an elderly statesman who apparently ran for the US presidential office a number of times. Hence my confusion.
LaRouche is controlled opposition. He’s being funded by the Feds and in turn, his group gathers intel on radicals, upstarts and others.
Similar labels could apply to Ron Paul though, right? I guess any opposition could be called controlled, as long as it’s being watched. I wonder how many times an alphabet agency secretly intervened to protect Bitcoin because they considered it an ‘asset’ of theirs.
If you dig deep, you can find him saying the exact opposite thing from what he said years earlier, then swapping back again years later to what he said earlier!  It’s bizarre.  Most people just give up and ignore him.  That’s what I did.
The worst thing about his site is that it sounds too much like partisan politics, and doesn’t seem to give any coherent advice other than to impeach Obama. If he is genuine, he’s really shooting himself in the foot. And if he’s not genuine, his views seem so extreme that nobody’s going to fall for that crap anyway. (Except maybe a gullible non-American like me
In 1984 I was busy building a bug-out shelter because my economics classes at university had convinced me the staggering U.S. national debt of an incredible 1.7 Trillion Dollars was unsustainable for even two more years.
Japan would repossess the U.S.  The Savings & Loan failures would collapse the economy.  General Motors would cease to exist.  The Soviets would roll across Europe.  Farmer suicides of the time would leave us starving.
After thirty years of rotating food, scanning RSS feeds that the first signs, and frightening my parents, I’ve decided to stop worrying such much about collapse
Thank God! Another old fart is here!
The “OMG! THE WORLD IS ENDING!” line of thought has been around for 2000 years. We all get swept up in it sometimes.
To the OP, serious biz: LaRouche is planted, controlled opposition. He says some truthful things in order to get honest people thinking the rest of his crap is real, too. It’s an old trick.

AND… Yes he is and he says we can do it without going through the impeachment process. In fact it can be done immediately under the Constitution under the 25th Amendment, Section 4. What this means is that the Vice President and Congress would have to declare Obama insane, as LaRouche says he is, and remove him from office immediately. Biden would then become acting president until Obama’s mental ability to fulfill his office can be determined.
I hear that Obama has not been attending his morning intel briefings before the Libya crisis and he’s still not. Instead he’s playing golf with his JP Morgan Chase buddy. Either, as you say, he knew the content or he doesn’t care and he’s incompetent.
HINT TO EVERYONE—–If you want to know Obama’s Plan you’ll find it all contained in the pages of Saul Alinsky’s “RULES FOR RADICALS”
I can only speak for myself but find myself in total agreement with Rob, and many others for that matter, especially with Rob as we come from communist countries, living in America for a long time, and absolutely blows our mind to witness what we have left behind decades ago!!!!
How the bastion of hope, liberty, and freedom could crumble under few?!!
Where are AMERICANS???!!!! to allow such travesty and tramping our Country on daily bases??!!!
What has happened? We have an infiltration of Muslims in Our Government. “54″ Politicians took $ from CAIR and HAMAS:
Add in that Romney intends to build a Charter School for Islamists on OUR TAX $$.
Look at all the others who’ve stopped working for the man.  (yes indeed) They all give empty reasons but we all know the real reasons.

Rachel Brown vote percentage slashed by 66 percent from 2010 to 2012

Tuesday, September 11th, 2012

THE CONGRESSIONAL CANDIDATE SLATE IS DOWN TO ONE

RACHEL BROWN UTTERLY DESTROYED BY MEDIOCRE KENNEDY

The debate analysis.  We are getting debate analysis from Michael Goldman, a democratic political consultant.
Kennedy is the runaway frontrunner in this race and he held his own in his first televised debate.
“There was no reason to vote against Kennedy before the debate for most democratic primary voters and there wasn’t a reason to vote against him after the debate so basically it was a wash for him,” says Goldman.

And yet the conditions were ideal for an upset… or something amounting to a “Moral Victory”.  Low voter turn out and all that.  A somewhat unusual date for voting.  Thursday?

“We really want to emphasize that it takes place on Thursday, not Tuesday,” said Town Clerk Marianne Staples.
Staples said she expects voter turnout to be at about 20 percent.
“Historically with the primaries there is a lower turnout. I’d like to see better than 20 percent but there is little competition on the ballot,” Staples said.

So Rachel Brown makes her pitch.

This is a Hitler policy, and must be repealed immediately  Another stimulus package would add to the hyperinflation  This crisis is too big to be solved by cutting, or taxing!

Rachel Brown:  “The issues facing the country now are thermonuclear war and hyperinflation, both of which are imminent if Obama is re-elected. The only reason we haven’t passed Glass-Steagall, which is the only way to stop the bailouts causing hyperinflation, and the threat of war behind it, is because of resistance from British-run Obama,” Brown said in statement.
Brown also proposes investing in space and science research, including the North American Water and Power Alliance water project, which she said would solve the water crisis and create 6 million productive jobs, and provide full funding for NASA.

And OOOO.  Howie G BURNS Kennedy.
BUT NOT AS BADLY AS THIS COMMENTER… AND  A Kennedy liberal versus a LaRouche conservative. Should be real old fashioned intelligent exchange of ideas and solutions. LOL

And so we have the results…

John Fitzgerald Kennedy… 36388… 90.1 percent
Rachel Brown …  2611… 6.5 percent
Herb Robinson … 1368… 3.4 percent

Delving into more local results to see where Brown County lies, Robinson County lies, and etc within this district.

Localized Dover results  On the Democratic side, Joe Kennedy III bested Rachel Brown and Herb Robinson; the totals there were 249 for Kennedy, 13 for Brown, 11 for Robinson, with 11 blanks.
Norton
According to the unofficial results supplied by Town Clerk Danielle Sicard, Kennedy walked away with 455 votes against fellow democrats Rachel Brown who earned 41 and Herb Robinson who garnered 10.
Needham
In Needham, Kennedy won the Democratic nomination with 2,118 votes, easily beating opponents Rachel Brown (110) and Herb Robinson (86).

Analysis.  Although she was trounced in yesterday’s Democratic primary, the fact remains that 180 Newton voters thought it was a good idea to vote for Rachel Brown yesterday.  I personally find that unsettling.

To bring you off the ledge:  Rachel Brown got less than 3% of the primary vote. Statistically speaking, if you put a dining room table on the ballot it would’ve gotten more votes — probably a lot more votes.
I guess it may be significant Brown beat Herb Robinson, even as Robinson had more resources at the ready.
KESHA ROGERS PROFILED
Huffington Post picks up on the latest Kesha Rogers news.  In such a politically polarized country, the Texas-22 race could have national implications. Hinojosa said the Democrats had a real chance of picking up that seat in the district if KP George, Rogers’ main Democratic opponent, won the primary.
Oh, who are you fooling?
Rogers said she wasn’t worried about not being invited to the party’s national convention. “I have no reason to be in Charlotte when the American people are suffering and they need leadership,” she said.

Where did the whole “Find a Replacement for Obama at the nomination” thing go?  Did that just fall by the wayside with fewer resources and a too old Larouche to badger the delegates with?  See Howie G:  Time to get the man in the mirror to do something.  There won’t be much of an environment after a thermonuclear war.  Time to get Obama out, preferably before the Democratic convention. Don’t be an opportunistic turncoat like Hilary Clinton, fight now.  Well, that whole promised for crusade turned out to be a dud.
“Right now my concern is for the prospects of the nation surviving,” she said. “If Obama commits thermonuclear war, I won’t have to worry about November and neither will you.”
That’s a relief!  Must be referring to the latest?
In a tight, stark presentation of a mere 35 minutes, Lyndon LaRouche PAC’s latest video documentary, “Unsurvivable” presents the horror of the thermonuclear war Obama is leading the worldAnd here it is.  Starts with a nuclear blast.  Not just any nuclear blast … a Thermonuclear blast.

And with that…  Brains and Eggs endorses Don Cook as the closest thing to a Democrat running in the Texas 22nd Congressional District.

Interestingly, Kesha Rogers’s online campaign calendar had No campaign events listed through August.  And nothing yet for September.  I know she was out there lending some musical accompaniment to the Rachel Brown campaign, but otherwise her staff of 12 aren’t bothering to publicize her appearances on her campaign website.

Into the Huffington Post comments section… a larouchie chimes in with, Point:  :  Ms. Rogers says she would not caucus with either party. Caucusing and making a difference are two different things. Ms. Rogers will make a difference, and is already making a difference, as exemplified by her leadership on many issues, all of which are laid out on her web site and campaign literature.   Uh huh.  Counterpoint:  How will she make a difference? By running a campaign based on the plot of the films Men In Black and Independence Day?
The best of the “She so crazy” comments:  Didn’t think there was anyone crazier than Cynthia McKinney and Michelle Bachmann….but here you go… ’cause it’s bipartisan.  Beyond that there’s some confusion that spill about.  She hasn’t been elected to anything, unless you count onto the ballot in November.

DIANE SARE PROVIDES AMUSEMENT TO NEW POLITICOS BEYOND CHRIS CHRISTIE

Former candidate for NJ’s 5th district, LaRouche Democrat Diane Sare intervened into a town hall meeting in Clifton, NJ hosted by Congressman Bill Pascrell Wednesday night.
That Reform Party guy in tow?

Meanwhile Diane Sare finds herself increasingly bitter at the American people.
The Enemy is not Syria or Iran, but the Stupidity and Corruption of the Person Facing you in the Mirror
Which I guess follows her leader’s comments.
In remarks to associates Lyndon LaRouche took on the real crisis inside the United States, that of the cowardice of the American people.
And on we go back to this…
The following is a statement released by former congressional candidate, Diane Sare, NJ-5
Lyndon LaRouche has given you many opportunities to wise up. He warned that Richard Nixon was going to take down the Bretton Woods System, which he did on August 15, 1971

and yet he was a (marxist) supporter of Nixon against the Kennedy clique that was working to bring him down over a bogus Watergate….

I know Larouchies took over the New Jersey Reform Party… kinda… or, a Larouche sympathizer was kicked out of the party is a better way to put it… this is amusing, but probably not right:  My guess is that Occupy has been pretty much taken over by the LaRouchies and anarchists…let the head busting begin. Looks like you’ll get your dream team of Willard the Rat Man/Eddie Munster after all. Woo-hoo.  I think I can dredge up negative comments from official Larouche publications on Occupy, after trying to float into it.  And Anarchists were always a big part of Occupy.

LAROUCHE SAYS STUPID CRAP ON ALEX JONES SHOW AND etc.

A headline in today’s larouche outlets.  LaRouche’s 90th Birthday Marked By Variety of Prominent Russians  Congratulations to Lyndon LaRouche on his 90th birthday continued to be published online in the Russian-language section of the Internet today, the day of LaRouche’s jubilee. Among the highlights was Progressive Socialist Party of Ukraine leader Natalia Vitrenko’s greeting letter, published on the PSPU website
Actually this reads pretty well identical to the annual birthday messages on the website of the Korean Central News Agency of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea for the recently deceased dictator of North Korea — a tradition I assume with the new guy.

And so we get further messages along the lines of …. This year is the year of LaRouche.

The SGT Report commenters are being won over, I suppose.  Used to be there were comments along the lines of “WTF are you posting this Larouche crap?”  I don’t see it for this Alex Jones interview linking.
We have the further consolidation into the Ron Paul fan realm with this bunch of comments to a Harley Schlanger interview.
The GOP is officially a corrupt and lying entity, and presented their true colors by slamming Ron Paul. The democratic party went down the commode long ago. Seems LaRouche may be our last chance.
It makes sense selling the Arrest of Geithner and Paulson to this crowd, but NAWAPA will limit one … which I guess is the point.  It’s like Liberal fans of Ron Paul who can entertain his foreign policy and civil liberties positioning and drug policy, and not have to sucker into Austrian and Ayn Rand economics.

And about that interview… The highly acclaimed and recognized historian and former Presidential candidate, Lyndon LaRouche  completed a stunning interview with Alex Jones on what Americans should prepare for if President Barrack Obama is reelected for a 2nd term.LaRouche will truly make you think about Obama back into office again!Even the conservative Hollywood actor Clint Eastwood just released comments to the media that the GREATEST HOAX TO BE PERPETRATED UPON THE AMERICAN PEOPLE is PRESIDENT OBAMA! – EFG-BN
EVEN CLINT EASTWOOD?
Y’know.  In the past I’ve always flooded over to the comments of the various links at Jones’s prisonplanet and infowars.  I don’t have it in me right now.
Ah, here’s the good stuff.  Over at … Silver fans.  Not as universally enthralled as SGT Report… yet.
Our friend Sean from SGTreport.com has released another excellent interview with LPAC spokesman Harley Schlanger.
LOL Larouchepac.
I have tremendous respect for the analysis of LaRouche model. I am unaware of the issues behind the apparent “bad blood” that some people have for LaRouche. I prefer to focus on the excellent concepts that he has discovered.
The Liberty Movement is steered and funded by….   Give me a break –

And Godlikeproductions gets us the declaration of  “Bullshit” — dated June 21, 2012 a bad prediction… which, you know… this facebook page shows we can Entertain ourselves with the perpetual prediction.

Lunatic Outpost asks the question.  Listen to this, days before the foiled assassination!  I think larouche is right but I’m hoping he’s not provocateuring something.  This guy uses rhetoric to persuade people. Fathead, making generalized statements like ‘the gutless American people’ should take down Obama and if they don’t they’re the enemy, but in no way does he explain how these American people should do it. Yeah, yeah, the people are responsible. They just need to get more serious. Yeah, yeah. We’ve seen how well that goes. Solidarity, blah, blah. Just another mouthpiece.

Or, more favorably…   They need cooperation from the press to get any attention to the issues.. perhaps the 2016 movie will kick start that...
That’s the D’Souza film which… advances some of the thoughts of David Goldman, actually.

In other items … Tarpley seems to get this wrong.  From Factnet, “Fightapathy” points out:  In the latest WORLD CRISIS RADIO (http://tarpley.net/world-crisis-radio) around 56:00, Dr. Webster Griffin Tarpley digs into LaRouche for running a campaign ad for Mitt Romney!
Tarpley claims Leandra Bernstein’s LPAC production “Unsurvivable” is fantastic [only] in that it pins potential thermonuclear holocaust exclusively on Obama, with no mention of Romney whatsoever. Therefore, LaRouche supports Romney, and “IS THAT WISE?”

Hm.  It may be around the realm of the Conspiratorial that the Elites are just dumping a candidate slated to lose, which I think was Tarpley and the Larouchies in 1988 on Dukakis… which would hold that Romney is essentially a non-entity put in place to lose the election.    But there’s … comments like this one…
Neither of the current candidates represents the human race, and we have to have one that does, LaRouche said. This has become especially urgent, since the human race is now on Mars!
Wait.  Humans are on Mars?
This showdown could occur within WEEKS! Are you still talking about the elections, the elections in NOVEMBER?
The Democratic Platform Committee Hearings held recently in Detroit exemplified the type of sophistical arguments people make to themselves about why they don’t have to take necessary action. Although the reinstatement of the Glass-Steagall Act is probably supported by about 80% of the population, and even Sandy Weill is now promoting it, Newark, NJ Mayor Cory Booker, and other sniveling traitors to the human race, were able to prevent its addition to the platform on grounds that, “There’s already a bill in the Congress, and that is LaRouche’s fight, anyway.”
In other appearances around the globe.
Lawrence Freeman talks on Russia Today about the Conventions
AS WELL… again on Russia TV:
Lawrence Freeman from Executive Intelligence Review Magazine agrees that the US is searching for a pretext to intervene in Syria.
“What is being said now is exactly what we saw with the scenario leading up to the Iraq war. We saw the same thing in Libya,” he told RT. “The idea that we should move 50-60,000 troops into Syria to protect chemical weapons is a pretext for overthrowing the government.”
Hm.   Still waiting for Larouche’s return to Russia Today.  After that one hilarious instance in 2008.  (He did get on one time afterward.)

Press TV has conducted an interview with Dr. Webster Griffin Tarpley, American author and historian from Washington, to further discuss the issue at hand.
He is joined by Middle East expert Huseyin Bagci from Ankara and Lawrence Freeman, with the Executive Intelligence Review from Baltimore, on Press TV’s News Analysis program.

Wait.  Tarpley.  Joined by Freeman.  Could they at least please mention that Tarpley used to work with Freeman at the same outlet at EIR?

Bill Jones on Press TV: “Stop and Frisk Anti-constitutional“.
Edward Spannaus on Press TV castigates Obama for use of War Sports metaphors.  I’m sure that’s beyond what Ahmajinedad would use rhetorically.
Harley Schlanger on Dr. Deagel Show.  August 29th.
Nancy Spannaus on the Dane Burley Show:  Tonight Nancy Spacious financial analysis journalist and member of the editorial management OF the Lyndon LaRouche party will discuss the real issue of Tue collapse economy and how the united states is on the brink of war within the middleWill this new election service as a promise to over come this nations woes or is it just another well played game in politics to cover up the issue of earmarks mis spending and hidden agendas out of the reach of the publics eyes call in let’s talk real politics and if you are seeing the collapse hitting your state.

Howie G Pushes a Zavtra interview of Larouche.  Wow.  Larouche made Zavtra?  That’s big and stuff.  They watching Unsurvivable closely to see how our American Democratic Republic ends with the Larouchies successfully petitioning to cancel all elections and their overlings be put in charge to sort everything out with NAWAPA and Glass Steagall?

Historical notes.
I may as well note that the David P Goldman wikipedia page (Which had once been essentially written by one David P Goldman)  has been rolled down to stub level.     Anti-cult PJ Media focuses attention on the David Goldman confessional.  Interesting
Gnostic Cult, eh?

In regard to the great battle of Freemasonic Cubism vs. Gnostic Spherical Fullness, I am stuck in the middle.  This article does not endorse an affiliation with either school of thought.

A new page at Larouche Planet shows he worked with a Satanist in the 1970s…  Ironic, as so many of his battles through the 1980s and early 1990s — say the Franklin Cover-up — concerned alleged Satanism.  Actually, they’re always battling Satan, aren’t they?

Here’s the crux of Jehovah’s Witness support.
And interestingly, even though the collapse of the USSR supposedly took intelligence agencies by surprise, LaRouche forecasted the event a few years before it occurred.
Pushback:
Do you know any disgusting thing in God’s sight? Do you know an Organization who declare themselves righteous before men?? High places of the Ba′al [earthly kings] ?

And what you get when you read old Larouche stuff.  These papers are fascinating, in a car-crash sort of way, much like a political intelligence letter from the LaRouchies.  Zaid Hamid

Sometime after that, some inspired soul amended it to readThings to do today:
1. Buy milk
2. Free LaRouche
3. Kill Satan
Anyway, LaRouche: crap.
These guys have a small but noticeable presence here every time an election rolls around, and they get the Monster Raving Looney Party treatment from the media – probably because they’re easier to poke fun at than the neo-nazi party that crawl out of the woodwork every four years. Their last manifesto was the Glass-Steigal(sp?) thing (which few Danes have an inkling of and even less care about), and the solution to the Danish economic crisis? A high speed train link across the Kattegat to Sweden that uses the electromagnetic floating train system something something something
They must have some resources though, the last two elections there were a surprising amount of posters and pamplets going around. Not fringe party level at all. Maybe they believe that a very small group of dedicated people with crazy ideas and access to large amounts of cash can change the world?
In any event their politics are a load of cobblers, but they do provide a bit of comic relief when it’s necessary, so crap with chuckles.
BUT… No, the situation in this nation is not bad enough that I would ever seriously consider voting for Lyndon LaRouche.
Dateline PhilaWhat is happening? You don’t need to know much about the political activist, Lyndon LaRouche, to understand the photograph’s statement.  But to ease and shorten the discussion, it may help to know that many people feel that LaRouche and his opinions are extreme and kooky.  And yes, he and his supporters truly believe that President is leading us to Nuclear War.  That leads us more quickly to the point of the photograph:  Here we have a rabid supporter handing out pamphlets, yet his efforts seem to be for naught.  The girl’s passive expression indicates where she stands, or at least where she doesn’t stand.  She has no interest in what has been offered, and she is clearly passive. She actually seems to be ignoring him.  This photo is therefore a bit of a comment about the LaRouche movement: No one seems be taking LaRouche or his supporters very seriously. So that’s the tale, so let’s get into that editing aspect.  The truth is that Dominic took two photos of the LaRouche supporter.  I haven’t seen the other, but he describes in briefly in response to a comment over at Flickr.  Allegedly, the other photograph features the girl looking at the supporter, possibly showing some interest – at least in the still frame.  Both photos tell different stories.  One – which is featured here – tells the story of the ignored supporter.  The other would imply that the LaRouche movement is stirring up attention.  Which to choose depends on the story that Dominic wanted to tell, and that answer comes in his very curt comment in the photo description:  “Apparently, our current president is threatening thermo-nuclear war. Not sure I agree …”  From Dominic’s perspective, the choice is a bit of a no-brainer.  But of course that requires Dominic – the editor, not the photographer – to pay attention to the small details that sway the story one way or the other.  Photojournalism is biased, don’t ever let anyone lead you to believe otherwise.  But this is the power behind photojournalism, and that’s why it is so important.  An image like this can sway opinions and stir up emotion.  Then again, isn’t that the point?Dateline Bay Terrace
A pair of political action pals rallying to impeach President Barack Obama fought a protest of their own when they said an irate middle-aged man pushed them and ripped down their posters.
“I was scared. The guy was just violent and crazy,” said Margaret Greenspan of the tri-state LaRouche Political Action Committee. “I’m used to people who don’t like us, but people who attack us and rip our signs down are not usual. We set up and people try to scare us like that. We have the right to be here.” […]

“He said, ‘How dare you put a mustache on Obama in front of a synagogue,’” said Greenspan, 61, of New Jersey, who pointed to the Benenson Family Chabad Community Center directly across the street.
But when Greenspan said she whipped out her phone to call the cops, the man fled, “taking off like a bat out of hell.”
“We were shouting at him to leave us alone. We told him he should be ashamed of himself,” said Burke, 26, of New Jersey.

Set up near Buckingham Place, a veterans housing facility, they posted signs featuring Obama with a Hitler-style mustache. That didn’t sit well with Cleaven Ferguson, a Merrimack resident and Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War, who reached out to The Telegraph because he was offended.
“We fought the Nazis because of Hitler’s policies,” he said. “I’m not going to be silent about this right now. I sacrificed and other guys sacrificed for this kind of foolishness? I’m not going to duck right now. This is war right now if this is the respect the president of the United States gets from people.”
Yule said the image of Obama-as-Hitler is the easiest way to show people that Obama is as much a fascist as Hitler.
“The truth hurts,” he said. “It’s the quickest, simplest metaphorical way to say outright he is a fascist.”
The group was seeking donations and handing out literature about what they say are the policies of the Obama administration that are pushing the United States and the rest of the world toward “the very brink of thermonuclear conflict and potential extinction.”

Comments:
I am ashamed and embarrassed that it takes a man from Massachusetts to post an Obama as Hitler sign, Come on N.H. we can do better than that! Show your disdain for this lying, failed, illegitimate president.
Roger Ogden:   The Founder of the Black Nationalist movement actually mandated that black groups should emulate white supremacist groups, such as the KKK and later the Nazi Party. He wrote that someday blacks would produce their own “Hitler.” More info here:
Scott Dichard:  Roger, who gives a shyte? Crawl back in your bunker and put on your tinfoil hat. The Flat Earth Society meets every Thursday at the loony-bin, and you just missed roll call.
Roger Ogden:   It’s a just matter of history. I know it is difficult for simple people, who have been brainwashed, to grasp. Black nationalist identity religions are similar to white nationalist identity religions. Black Liberation Theology, as even the name indicates, is a black nationalist identity religion, a form of Black Nazism.
Scott Dichard:   And President Bush was a shape-shifting reptilian alien from the planet Zmorph. What has any of this got to do with reelecting the best President since Clinton?

TIME TO INSULT RON PAUL
The difference against Ron Paul.
Paul knows when he’s funny; LaRouche doesn’t know when he’s funny.   There are plenty of Paul supporters on Y/A; LaRouche doesn’t have any of his cult members on here.  I wouldn’t want LaRouche to know who I am; with Paul it doesn’t matter.  LaRouche is more of a social conservative than Ron Paul.
RNC Convetion 2012 twit feed  Ron Paul people are just slightly less insane Larouchies.

Actually this is one of those odd “Neo-Conservative factoids”, which works to scrub some common mis-apprehensions.  (We keep hearing of this rabid Trotskyite influence.)
Still, of the CCNY group, there were only ever four Trotskyists who transitioned into Neoconservatives: Irving Kristol, the sociologist Seymour Martin Lipset (author ofPolitical Man, published 1960), Kristol’s wife Gertrude Himmelfarb, and the political scientist Martin Diamond, who would meet to lunch in Alcove 2 of the CCNY’s cafeteria. Hysterical claims by libertarian reactionaries like Ron Paul that the Bush administration was being run by closet-Trotskyists reveal a hatred of real history (see also Congressman Paul’s reactionary denunciations of the American Civil War), not to mention a paranoid mind-set (see also Congressman Paul’s flirtation with LaRouchies and 9/11 conspiracy-mongers).
… Actually the latter is accurate enough, the former I believe is just Harley Schlanger’s sales pitch — the “If Ron Paul and Larouche could join at the hip they would be unstoppable” dynamic that’s flowing on his forays into various conspiratorial radio and blogspots.

one last slate election to go. Can Rachel Brown overcome the forces of Satan?

Tuesday, August 21st, 2012

I.  Wait.  Big Question.  Time to look at the connections!  Rick Potvin, the … Larouche Cryonics Movement fellow, wants to know…
How can the Larouche organization be duped by the Mars lander hoax?
I wonder if Larouche’s organization has been infiltrated… which is what Rolf Witzsche suggested to me. Rolf points out how Larouche’s NAWAPA, fusion and ice age ideas can’t be right. Here’s Marsha.. now much older than when I first read her.

But before we get too far on this course… on the point of Rejection.

The level of rejection seems to be on the level of demonic to me. It seems beyond natural in an evil way. I’m quite convinced something more deeply evil than I’ve ever considered before has come to grip the minds of men. It’s not a case, which I thought, of simply presenting better arguments this way or that on various issues. There are clearly malevolently motivated humanoid types who are beyond reason. Something else is going on, on Earth.

My mind is all aflutter.  He rejects an aspect of the Larouche organization — somewhere where they did not conjure up a vast conspiracy — and sees a possible “infiltration”.  Something demonic must be at work here.

II.  Campaigns Conclude in Michigan; Washington.

Newspaper chimes in with last minute “Don’t forget to vote” … in races we barely murmured because, well… nothing big happens until November… Under the assumption that he will advance, wouldn’t anyone interested in voting for someone other than him want to know everything they could about Jim Postma, Tom Cramer, John Orlinski and Dave Christie?

There are a few ways of going at the election results here.  I note that the late returns have expanded Adam Smith’s percentage, and  edged Dave Christie down fractions of percentage points.  So where we once stood with  Adam Smith at 60.3 percent and Dave Christie at 3.3 percent we now have Smith at 61.9 percent and Chrstie at 3.12 percent.

But a better comparison is with someone like Tom Cramer, who was running to the left of Smith as a Democrat charging Smith with selling out to corporate interests and etc.  7.13 percent.  Or John Orlinski, who advocates for Glass Steagall — 5.55 percent.  The rest of his program must have settled better for Glass Steagall advocates than Christie’s.

Bill Roberts in Michigan
Syed Taj …. 59 percent;  William Roberts … 41 percent

Or.  An embarrassing percentage.  I can easily see Roberts winning this race in a world where McCotter didn’t implode and thus bring attention to the race.   It was very nearly a blind race of no impact; as such Taj ran the gambit and alerted the public to the meaning of the race and pulled it out by a “landslide”.

Roberts expenses.  Roberts has collected $8,992 from individuals through this election cycle. He reported $577 spent on yard signs from Sawicki & Sons, $221 in banners and $369 in printing from Detroit Print Shop. He also spent another $600 in signs from Buildasign.com in Austin, Texas.

After coverage of this sort, into the liberal blogosphere with some Standard criticism of the DSCC leader and the choice of candidates challengers arriving at the notice Syed Taj vs a Lyndon LaRouche freak (MI-11)- (Obama’s score: 50%, Dem 2010- 39%) and on the conservative blogosphere the laments.  On the Democrat side, the choices are a Muslim doctor and a supporter of Lyndon LaRouche (the Democrat version of Ron Paul).  Onto discussions:
I remember the nutter LaRoucheys when I was a silly teen in the 80′s going to Mondale/Ferraro rallies (I’m embarrassed to admit that but I wasn’t old enough to vote…and that loss knocked me out of hard-core politics until 9/11…) on Boston Common.
I just had to explain to my sister about the LaRouche nutters. She sees them and thinks they are Conservatives because they sport Obama as Hitler posters. I explained to her not to be fooled and said the same stuff DS pointed out in her column.
I told her to focus on how young all the supporters are (and they were in the 80s too) because all that freak can get is young dummies to shill for him. If you’re older than 26 and still support LaRouche it means you go out of your straight-jacket and escaped the Asylum!

Dr. Syed Taj of Canton will be carrying the momentum of a long list of endorsements into Tuesday’s primary.
His opponent, William Roberts of Redford, has received an endorsement from the Lyndon LaRouche Political Action Committee.

Worth noting:
Roberts said he was spending the final days of the campaign trying to shape policy in Washington, D.C. “We’re doing that and are out in the neighborhoods with high visibility deployments calling for the ouster of President Obama and the passage of the Glass Steagall Act,” he said.
Way to pound the flesh!

Here’s Taj’s next opponent.

Bentivolio repeatedly for appearing in a low-budget, Michigan-made film that spoofs former President George W. Bush. In “The President Goes to Heaven,” a fictional president lies comatose while nurses berate him for ordering aircraft to be flown into two buildings in New York on — as the film has it — 1-11.

Bottom line from the organization’s point of view:  The powerful intervention of the LaRouche candidates’ slate into the Congressional elections, as a NATIONAL VOICE, had a profound impact on the primary elections August 7th, in Michigan and Washington state.  Hm.  Just about none, actually.  Particularly in Washington State…. where, well… Scenese from the Dave Christie campaign

“You don’t come into the neighborhood with pictures of Obama with a Hitler mustache,” said Larry, one of the people angry with the posters. “Take that Hitler mustache off, and we can have a dialog.”
People surrounded the table and berated the LaRouche/Christie supporters until they packed their things and left the sidewalk in front of Starbucks.
That said, I agree with the others that Christie knew exactly what he was doing and got exactly what he deserved. At best, this was a huge political gaff. At worst, it shows Christie to be a complete idiot. Either way, I think it’s safe to say that his political future is about as bright as that of LaRouche himself.
Anyway – these guys do not represent republicans or anyone else. They don’t deserve any respect. There are lots of socialists besides Obama that have not taken the monsterous steps that Lenin, Stalin, Hiltler and others have taken. We do have the local anarchists that would fall right in step an put on the brown shirts, but, they have no leader. They would be more likely to follow Christie than Obama.
Your larouchie:  Anyone who does not know that the policies that Obama has been pushing make Nero look like a towel boy and have already killed uncounted people because of budget cuts. He does not need an oven, he useds his Executive Orders and stupid people who do not know fascism even when it stares them right in the mirror.  It seems that folks that people this site think flash mobs are the new “free speech” tool.
Everyone knows the the LaRouches are NSA/CIA operatives in training. Lots written about this decades ago. They are the evolution of the Nixon Cointelpro operation.

And further coverage.

Seriously, though, LaRouche people give the impression of being genuinely mentally ill. They’re so offensive and so completely disconnected from reality that it’s the only way to make sense of them.
Maybe you could Skyhook them?
The LaRouchies marched in the Renton River Days parade on Saturday, supporting Dave Christie. They taped a folded up American flag over “mpeach Obam”, presumably to avoid being booed or worse. It wasn’t big enough to cover the I and the a.

III.  Next election coming up.  Rachel Brown, Massachusetts 4th Congressional District Race.

Endorsements.  Kennedy endorsed by the formidable Democratic Party machinery of the district.  Herb Robinson nobody.  Rachel Brown has one endorsement — and you know which pac that one is.

Can’t Robinson snag something somewhere just out of spite for the “Sons of famous political figures get the nod” rule of American politics?

A double whammy Campaign date.  First up:  NECN’s Broadside with Jim Braude will host a similar debate with the three Democratic candidates — Kennedy, Herb Robinson and Rachel Brown — on Thursday, August 16 at 6 p.m.

And then…  Come and participate in an unusual political event, a Classical Concert Town Hall Meeting, which will feature special guest, LaRouche Democrat Nominee, Kesha Rogers (TX-22) and LaRouche Democrat, Rachel Brown (MA-4).  Thursday August 16th 7:30 PM

From Brown’s point of view, the future job market opened recently with the landing of a craft on Mars. She said there are businesses throughout the district that could benefit from the expansion of the space program.
A common theme for Brown throughout the hourlong forum was the reinstatement of Glass-Steagall in order to strengthen the economy. In terms of bipartisanship, Brown said Glass-Steagall can bring members of both parties together. Brown also pointed to the proposed legislation as the “fundamental change” needed to repair the existing codes.

After moving on from Kennedy’s qualifications, Braude turned to Brown and brought up the well-known posters of President Barack Obama with “Hitlerian” mustaches and “impeach Obama” slogans. The posters are are often set up by supporters of Brown, who is part of the LaRouche PAC candidate slate.
“How can anyone take that kind of candidate seriously in a race for the United States Congress?” Braude asked.
“I’ve qualified the mustache, particularly with Obama’s health care plan, which includes the IPAB board, which is modeled off of the T4 program in Nazi Germany,” Brown said.
Brown also said she has been “vindicated in every aspect” of her campaign, including “national and international” discussion of the Glass-Steagall Act. The recent Mars Curiosity landing also backs up her calls to revitalize the space program, Brown said.

More.  Brown’s campaign manager, Jennifer Kreingold, said that in retrospect, Brown’s 2010 flap with Frank was a boon for her.
“It was good in the sense that she was telling the truth,” Kreingold said, calling the Affordable Care Act a “fascist policy.”
But the team is realistic about its chances of winning the district.
We’re not concentrating so much on counting votes,” Kreingold said.

Here she is.  And the people, they speak.
Oh, sure, LaRouchies. The Queen of England runs the international drug trade! Trilateral Commission! BILDERBERGS!
Eek, a mouse!
LaRouchies are to the Democrats as the Ron Paul crackpots are to the GOP.
It’s funny how Quincy has been a nest for LaRouchies since the 70s. I’ll have to look into why that is. I remember seeing posters with Jimmy Carter’s face in a nuclear cloud on the old Gilchrist’s building back in ’78 or so when the LaRouchies were calling themselves the US Labor Party.

And whatever happened to H. Graham Lowry?
I saw someone refer to her as Alfred E. Newman. I used to run down to the corner store and pick up the latest MAD Magazine. Wow, makes you wonder if she has any brothers names Al, or if she used to be named that.
For once we agree GOP. I was driving by some Larouche nutjobs in front of the post office in Kingston and asked them if he was out of jail yet? These people take the first prize for looney politics.

Debate the stupid poster.  Why?

But take it from wence it comes. Lyndon LaRoche’s behavior has always been questionable and somewhat twisted
It shows the ideologically-based bad judgment of Rachel Brown (candidate for the 4th Congressional District currently held by Barney Frank) who is a tool of the Lyndon Larouche political cult.
Margaret Fairchild chimes in with:   No, you’re a good liberal-you express politically correct outrage at something which is not popular, but is absolutely accurate -used by people who are fighting to save the country-and civilization from a Dark Age-but you do nothing to solve the terrible problems of the world, which is all Lyndon LaRouche has done his entire adult life.

And onto WIcked Local...

So she admits to being a supporter of Lyndon Larouche (barf)  The Space program would be perfect for her, just beam her up.
Forgive me for saying this but she gives me the creeps
Say “Hi” to Major Tom for me.
The Larouchies are crazier than cats on acid
IV.  Three queries found in the stats page:  lyndon larouche pac harassing me.  Sorry to hear that.  Shouldn’t have donated.  And…  LYNDON LAROUCH AND SEAN PENN.  Sean Penn?  why do the douche larouche give carrots  … must be the carrot and stick approach to things.

I guess if the LaRouchies decide to run bus ads about Jewish bankers or some such thing, we will have Pam Geller to thank.

and Ron Paul are mirror images, just targeted at different ends of the political spectrum

Dateline Oxford, Connecticut.  Yeah, there’s Chris Sare.

Dateline about same place and man:

The fact that the Patch would even post this wants to make me vomit. This is part of the problem with today’s media….oversaturation of nonsense. You gave the person who did this their 15 minutes of fame.
Activist Chris Sare, of New Jersey, co-organized Tuesday’s demonstration in Naugatuck.
Of the Obama sign, he said, “Some people are offended but when we actually explain to them what we’re saying — it goes back to the health care plan where he actually said that we’re going to cut waste out of Medicare. And he was explaining that there were too many people who get tests and treatment, especially as they get on in their later years. So that’s exactly what the Nazis did in 1939 to save money. They said, ‘Well this person’s life is not really worth the money; it’s a life not really worth living.’”

All right.  Time for the Hitler Analogy break-down.

The Hitler analogy is actually rather accurate. Obama has furthered the Corporatist policies that both parties have been responsible for implementing. TARP Bailouts, Subsidies, Tax breaks for favored companies & tax hikes for others. All spit in the face of the Free-Market & fair competition, & equal opportunity. As far as fascist policies go, Obama continued Bush’s constitution-undermining Patriot Act, & signed his own tyrannical Act known as the NDAA which allows for “indefinate detention” of American citizens, without ever a trial or seeing a lawyer. In fact these pieces of unconstitutional legislation allow the Executive Office (President), to order the killing of any PERSON in the World SUSPECTED of being a terrorist! WAKE UP!!!!
Naugatuck Mayor Bob Mezzo, a Democrat, said he doesn’t care what kind of explanation is given: he believes that kind of disrespect for our president is despicable.

Okay.  Supposing for a moment we have the “degrees of difference”.  In that, I guess you can argue with civil liberties violations as “Hitler!”  But now I’m stuck at these policies.  TARP and subsidies and corporate friendly tax policies?  We’ve been stuck at Hitler since the founding of this country.

Dateline Ravena.

Some passersby politely took literature they handed out while others were more demonstrative — making rude gestures as they drove by — but few who headed down Main Street on Monday missed the protest table set up outside the Ravena Post Office.
The table, staffed by two supporters, sported signs reading, “November is for losers! Obama Out Now” and “Impeach Obama, Restore Glass-Steagall”, among others.
Demonstrating that they are not supportive of either major party candidate running for president in 2012, another sign showed a donkey with President Barack Obama’s face on one end – wearing a Hitler-like mustache — and Governor Mitt Romney’s face on the other, and read, “Obamney – Which End Will You Vote For?”.
The LaRouche supporters said they are asking people to contact their representatives to ask for their support of the bill.
“We want people to call Congressman Tonko or Congressman Gibson on this initiative — the Glass-Steagall Act — and to impeach President Obama,” John Scialdone said.
They also urge Democrats to convince their party to put forward another candidate to oppose President Obama for the party’s nomination.
“We need a different Democratic nominee for president,” Murphy said. “President Obama is getting us into wars that will get us into a world war with Russia, and we have to revive basic investment in the economy.”

Dateline San Luis
Antony Holderman, 63, allegedly took a political poster from a display set up on the sidewalk in front of the Bank of America building at 2252 Main St. in East Village, according to Sheriff’s Office spokesman Tony Cipolla.
When a supporter of ultra-conservative political activist and author Lyndon LaRouche, who was one of those who had set up the display, tried to take back the sign, Holderman allegedly got into a brief fistfight with the man, Cipolla said.
The Sheriff’s Office has asked the San Luis Obispo County District Attorney’s Office to review the case. Charges could include strong-arm robbery.
Holderman complained of chest pains and was taken by ambulance to Sierra Vista Regional Medical Center.
The confrontation drew a lot of attention in a busy commercial area. Witnesses said it brought auto and pedestrian traffic to a standstill.

I don’t think that the author has this entirely right (er… left).  I’m not sure that I would call LaRouche ultra-conservative.  I’m afraid the left needs to own this nutjob.  Sort of like a socialist Glenn Beck.  The best part was watching presumably real conservatives give this guy money.  The enemy of your enemy is not necessarily your friend.

Dickason said deputies told her the young couple who set up the LaRouche booth were from the Los Angeles area.Another witness, Cassidy Riley, said the fight looked like “a schoolhouse fight that erupted into physical violence…people let personal politics get in the way of whatever message they were trying to convey.”Rick Bruce, who opposes LaRouche doctrine, said on Facebook later he went to the protest area to tell the couple that, even though he disagrees with what they were displaying and saying, he supports their right to say it. Free speech laws, he said, apply as much “to speech you hate as much as speech you cherish.”They recently were outside the Clinton, NJ Post Office and the Naugatuck, CT Post Office.
The followers and fundraisers for Lyndon Larouche ought to get their heads out of their butts. Larouche lives off the funds he raises. His activities are unsavory at best and probably some of them are illegal. Yet the suckers keep running to him. How sad.
My sister who was an Obama voter in 2008 has changed her opinion of him after watching him try to dismantle our country. She is now working for the Romney Campaign.
Most moralistic people would agree that Lyndon La Rouche is a reprehensible person, to say the least. However, IMO it is the extremist within our society who keep donating to his website who are the worst of the two. It is those extremist, which allow La Rouche, through their contributions, to keep doing what he does for their demonically repulsive and perverse pleasure. For in reality, he could not exist without their support.
Scott is right about Larouche. I first met him about 40 years ago, when he was using the name Lynn Marcus, and was leading a pseudo socialist group. He has always been insane, frightening and demogogic. He is a racist, an anti semite and an unrepentant fascist. At one time, he led a violent group of thugs, and he has been arrested for fraud. He is also intellectually brilliant, and has charisma and a great deal of skill in writing propaganda. He is one of the most evil people alive in this country.Dateline Seahurst, Iowa I don’t think these two LaRouche supporters knew the facts of World War II. They appeared too young to have been around during World War II. If they don’t know the history of the beginnings of World War II, then they don’t know that Hitler slaughtered not only the Jews but anyone to have been deemed different from the “normal” Aryan, including the mentally ill, disabled, artists, intelligensia, gays and others.
These two men prevented any person who needed a wheelchair, a walker, cane or a helping hand–Discrimination, just like Hitler.
Don’t block the way for others just so you can use your freedom of speech. And if you wish to call someone Hitler, please make sure you have your facts straight.

Still using them.

Par for the course. They’re LaRouchies, for Pete’s sake! Two thirds of their lives are spent in bunkers on the ham radio.
For at least the last 25 years the LaRouchers have stopped traffic to impeach whoever was pres and characterized him as Hitler. Their cause still hasn’t expressed a cohesive view that the public can absorb. All that rises to the top in their outlook is their vitriole and wacdoodle stand.
This is a cult masquerading as a political movement. These no-hopers you see on the street corner pushing their bs “literature”…their only function is to generate sales to pay for Lyndon’s private compound. I see the same guys working the tables I passed by as an undergrad, and that was 30 years ago. Need some de-programmers up in here.
ya I farted next to them…. it was a good one!
They stood in front of my post office recently. It’s a scam designed to separate you from your money. I suspect LaRouche and his minions pocket whatever they collect.

The LaRouchies haunt our local post office with the same offensive poster. I tell them that if Obama were Hitler they wouldn’t be standing outside a US post office and that their as**s would have been turned into bars of soap by now.
Where have they been? Thirty years ago, California was crawling with LaRouche followers. Now, LaRouche crazies sightings are as common as Elvis sightings.

I never understood how Larouche,  the parallel universe/ bizarro world version of Ron Paul… leaked over into ours… and has been able to exist here and even attract followers…
you would think that they cannot coexist in this reality frame… like matter and anti matter… different but kind of the same… as in fun house mirror reflection of each other… Or does physical reality need both to underpin the balance of overlapping extremes that keeps the universe from ending….
and further questions… do RonPaulists ever convert to Larouchism? or the other way around?… are there any who are quantum entangled? are simultaneously both and neither??!!
And how do ancient and resurgent crypto-Birchers and all the different dominionist cults fit in?… and the professional theologians of Oligarchism in all the usual suspect right wing foundations…
Trying to understand how these can all exist and persist in 2012 on planet Earth is baffling… trying to visualize them all in the same picture is like imagining a Bruegel or Heronymous bosch painting of some fantasmagorical landscape… garden of apocalyptic nightmares… updated with 21st century details mixed with the dark ages hell-scape… OK… sort of a zombie movie with 7th day Adventists and zombie undead ringing your doorbell with Ron Paul and Lyndon Larouche pamphlets at the same time…

More than one person told me they had already marked their absentee ballot for the other guy, before they found out he was a LaRouchie.
EVERY VOTE COUNTS.  We could take McCotter’s seat but  Dr. Taj must get through the primary. Vote Tuesday August 7.

I had no idea the LaRouchies even still existed
I used to see the crazies all the time in L.A., but that was….like….15 years ago? Have they been in their underground bunkers since then?
Saw the LaRouchies in L.A. 5 years ago
They made me laugh then, they make me laugh now.  I fully expect them to tell me the world is full of lizard people or something.

Abel Danger says.
LaRouche and his followers are charlatans. They have nothing. Everything they say is name-dropping – “from the standpoint of blah blah blah” without ever showing the work – because there is none to show. LaRouche sells a dimension that he invents and that he says ordinary science ignores – based on abstract theories of Plato (with his dimension in which the ideal or perfect is more real than the physical world we know) and Gottfried Liebniz (with his fictitious monads – another reality-behind-reality metaphysical theory). He does the same with geometries based on different assumptions than those that obtain in our usual measurements and constructs – adding additional dimensions or changing assumptions (instead of the linear axes of Cartesian space and Euclidean assumptions, substituting convoluted mathematical equations) – but what does LaRouche do with that? Does he really use Riemannian geometry to discover Plato’s metaphysical universe – a reality that corresponds to our flatland as a cone, and where what we see as spirals are really a single “direction” on cone-surface space? No. LaRouche uses Riemannian geometry as poetic metaphor: he doesn’t go there; he doesn’t pull technologies from there. LaRouche is, as I said, merely dropping names: stealing the prestige of Riemann to support his charlatanism – his new Pythagorean mysticism now phony pseudo-science. LaRouche also takes principles of engineering and physics and “rediscovers them in the economics field” – only he adds nothing that wasn’t there already

VI.  The big discussion with Adam Sturman.

Whatever happened to Sky and Summer Shields?
Adam Sturman
Hello Ciampion. Do you have any questions or comments? I can help.
Hey dude.
How are you doing this afternoon?
Ciampion
Just fine, and you? I was just wondering what happened to Sky and Summer Shields?
Adam Sturman
Sky and Summer left a few months ago, on bad terms.
Sorry to say
They took some other leading members with them too.
Ciampion
Damn, that’s a shame. Sky especially seemed to know his stuff. I wonder what the conflict was.
Adam Sturman
There was no conflict, he was just a two-faced liar.
and some people chose to believe him, over the truth.
Ciampion
Man I can’t believe it he kept me coming back to the Weekly Report. What was he lying about?
Adam Sturman
The worst thing, was he was spreading lies about Lyndon’s role in Russia.
Ciampion
How so?
Adam Sturman
he would say one thing in public discussions, both internally and towards the public at large.
And, then he would, in private discussions, say the opposite.
We caught him several times doing this.
Ciampion
Ah, well. Must’ve been a blow to you guys to have to move all those resources out of California. Or are you still active there?
Adam Sturman
Oh hell yeah! We’re even stronger now that the liars are gone. Both in SF and LA!
Curing a sickness makes you better.
Ciampion
No doubt. Well thanks for chatting with me. I just saw the new option and thought I’d check it out. I watch you guys everyday if I can, keep up the good work.
Adam Sturman
Thanks man!
Can you make just a $25 dollar donation?
it really helps…
even just $10
We get no funding from corporations or anythign like that!
We’re supported by people like yourself.
Ciampion
Sorry but it’ll have to wait i just paid my rent.
Adam Sturman
Understood.
I know that feeling, unfortunatly.

This series of exchanges was going to end in quick course, and everyone involved knew it.  Good to get word on Summer Shields, I suppose.  I think he received the same percentage as Dave Christie, didn’t he?

And that one gets weirder still.

Harley Schlanger promotes grand Ron Paul / Lyndon Larouche Super-Match up Alliance

HARLEY SCHLANGER THROWS BALL INTO RON PAUL’S COURT

But Harley added, if Dr. Paul were to reconsider that position and support the reinstatement of Glass-Steagall, LPAC would consider supporting Dr. Paul.
Just in case you’re wondering where the whole “Democratic Convention charge” thing is going?  Well.  I guess the ball’s in Ron Paul’s court now.  All he has to do now is come out for Glass Steagall, and the Lyndon Larouche Movement will take down the clown nose they placed on Ron Paul, brush aside the Hitler mustahce they put on his son, and ignore the incompatibility of his Laissez Faire Austrian economics to push the Democratic Convention to drop Obama and nominate Ron Paul.
Ron Paul would catch heat from main line republicans for partnering with a “left” organization but it would be a step into ending the false left/right paradigmGreat job bringing the excellent ideas of LaRouche (especially that of an urgent need to re-implement Glass Steagal)to the attention of the Ron Paul movement. LaRouche’s broad support would be a huge plus for Ron Paul, or vice-versa.
Yes.  Ron Paul and Lyndon Larouche.  Together… they’ll be UNSTOPPABLE.
GettyUp, High Ho Silver, Away! Go Ron Paul, Go LaRouche!

We’ll see if this guy picks up on the new Larouchian support for Ron Paul, and lobbies Ron Paul on behalf of Glass Steagall.

They had huge signs about impeaching Obama and Geithner. I happened to have a Ron Paul shirt on (ok, I almost always have one on) and that led into an interesting discussion about the Fed. They want the Fed abolished immediately, but they want a national bank “accountable to the people and Congress.” They are completely against legalizing drugs (though he kept going on and on about the drug cartels made possible by his position) and they were really hammering the Rothschilds and their penchant for war (“Don’t you see what’s coming with Syria, man??!”) I wish I could have stayed longer and gotten into it with the guy more. He probably should take off the mirrored sunglasses if he wants people to engage him. All in all a very interesting encounter.

Question which hangs in with search engine:  what is an fdr democrat and why do they want to impeach obama
Hm.  Larouche hates FDR.  Called him Hitler and stuff.  Also edging toward supporting an alliance with Ron Paul.  Just part of smashing the false right / left paradigm.

Interestingly enough, David Lindsey comes out in support of Marcy Kaptur.  After rolling through every prominent politician of the last century and how they relate to Obama’s fragile electoral coalition.  Including Kesha Rogers.  We’ll see if the Larouchies pick up on Kaptur as a possibility to sell the Democratic Convention.

CAMPAIGN UPDATES
Rachel Brown, Massachusetts 4th:
From the statement by Rachel Brown — “Neither of these two clowns will be president”.  The walls are coming down, for Obama and Romney both. It’s likely that neither of these two will be the electee come November 7th.
Will Rachel Brown retire from politics if she turns out to be wrong about this?
Meeting held.  When:  Saturday, July 28th  4:00-7:00pm
Where:  Meeting Room Therefore, don’t sit on the fence, join Rachel, along with longtime Lyndon LaRouche associates Phil and Leni Rubenstein, for a discussion on the necessary policies for our nation and the world, and prepare yourself to mobilize.
And so they mobilize out in Cape Cod.  I think they’ll just dump this in with the Rachel Brown campaign.  Though I don’t see the Rachel Brown poster here, that’s does seem to be how these things work.
Dateline Cape Cod  The police persuaded the LaRouche campaigners to move their table from the front of the post office to a location slightly to the side, Monahan said.  “They were blocking a public sidewalk,” he said. […]
“This kind of offensiveness needs to stop,” said Karin Wennberg of Dennis.
A native of Germany, she said she had a visceral reaction to the poster of Obama with a Hitler mustache and stopped to talk to the campaign workers.
“I was thunderstruck,” she said.
This is the first time LaRouche supporters claim to have been assaulted in Dennis, Monahan said. Verbal confrontations are routine, however, with many passers-by objecting to their poster of the president.
“Is that a Hitler mustache?” Brian Rice of Yarmouthport asked as he took the turn into the post office driveway.
“This is absolutely disgusting,” Rice said after parking his car. “I don’t care what you think of Obama. This is insulting to people who went through the Holocaust.”

The Rachel Brown Campaign

The protests have moved from the sidewalk outside the U.S. Post Office downtown, to outside theDunkin Donuts on Main Street, to the spot chosen by the group members Tuesday: at the busy intersection near the CVS on South Main Street.
The LaRouche PAC has a candidate, Rachel Brown, on the Democratic ballot for the Fourth Congressional District, which now includes Milford. She spoke briefly to Milford Selectmen Monday, and is expected to hold a policy forum in Milford on Saturday.
On the Sept. 6 Democratic primary ballot, she faces candidates including Joseph Kennedy III, a grandson of the late Robert F. Kennedy.

Seems to be some history in this:
Kinda like all the pie throwers who went after conservative speakers at various colleges over the past few years, ehh Dave??!!
Not at all like pie-throwers, Joseph. Not like the merely rude people who do silly, nasty, obstructive things in both parties. Closer to cross-burners, threatening-letter-writers, criminals. Have you read up on the Larouche cult and their tactics? Huh, Joey?
Sure have Dave and they are just like the Progressive Pie Throwers!!
Yes, Ed, that is definitely ONE of the things he is doing! And if I get to choose, give me pie!
Lyndon LaRouche is a nutcase.
And, by the way….. LaRouche is a nut!! We agree on that!

Fund raising news:   Kennedy, the son of former U.S. Rep. Joseph P. Kennedy II, D-Mass., and a grandson of the late U.S. Sen. Robert F. Kennedy, D-N.Y., has parlayed his family’s prominence into donations from well-known individuals across the country.
His latest fundraising report includes contributions from Hollywood fixtures such as record and film producer David Geffen ($2,500) and actor John Malkovich ($5,000), as well as political figures like former U.S. Sen. Max Cleland, D-Ga. ($2,500) and Maryland Gov. Martin O’Malley, a possible 2016 presidential aspirant ($500). Back home in Massachusetts, contributors include former Gov. Michael Dukakis ($100) and author Doris Kearns Goodwin ($500).
Kennedy had about $1.9 million in cash on hand as of June 30. His Democratic primary opponents, Rachel Brown and Herb Robinson, reported raising $$7,300 and $4,900 and respectively, from April 1 through June 30. Robinson had less than $1,000 in cash on hand at the end of the second quarter, with Brown reporting just $80.

LaRouchies, for the unfamiliar, are followers — disciples, if you will — of Lyndon LaRouche, an eight-time failed candidate for president who served six years of a 15-year prison sentence for credit card fraud, and an all-around nutjob (in my humble opinion).
They have been seen in significant numbers across the Cape lately and appear more active than in past election cycles. LaRouchies are easily recognized as they like to set up small tables in public spaces and display a poster-sized photo of President Barack Obama sporting a Hitler mustache. They’re very proud of their complete lack of historical perspective and their surplus of hyperbole.
Recommended techniques for dealing with LaRouchies: giving them a dollar and, when they look at you funny, saying, “Oh, I thought this was some sort of weird performance art”; shaking your head in pity and tsk-ing audibly as you pass; declaring, “Hey, why is Obama made up to look like Charlie Chaplin?”; and having a normal conversation with them while affecting a pronounced British accent.
This last one is most effective if you end by saying “I have confirmation on the targets. The game is afoot – repeat, the game is afoot. Tally-ho!” into your phone as you walk away.
The best approach, however, is to ignore them completely. They thrive on attention just as a misbehaving 5-year-old would, so don’t play into their game. Besides, it’s only a phase. They’ll grow out of it.

Bill Roberts, Michigan 11th.

So here’s how things shake out.  SyedTaj is pounding the flesh.

Neither Democratic candidate has said they will run in the special election to fill the remainder of McCotter’s term, focusing instead on August primary and the November general election for the term that begins in January 2013.
On a sunny Sunday, Taj worked to be that credible nominee. Taj knocked on doors in an upper-middle class Novi neighborhood with literature in hand. The brochure has a picture of Roberts standing before the “Impeach Obama” poster.
“This is William Roberts,” it reads. “He’s an imposter running against Dr. Taj. Don’t be fooled by fake Democrats.”
At one home, Greg Zydeck answered the door. Taj introduced himself and hands over the brochure. “I’ve never heard of you, but I’ll look you up,” Zydeck said. […]

Calling LaRouche activists “a cult essentially,” Taj said Roberts should run as an independent.
“As a lifelong Democrat, I would never think about impeaching my own president — my party leader,” said Taj, 65. “That’s why I say he’s a fake Democrat.”
It’s a real concern for Taj if well-intentioned Democrats head to the polls Aug. 7 with little knowledge about the candidates, they may be more prone to vote for a William Roberts than a name like Syed Taj.
“My work is cut out for me right now,” Taj said of the voter education efforts. […]

Roberts is part of a five-person national congressional slate of Lyndon LaRouche Democrats who view their candidacies as a movement to spread ideas more so than an individual campaign, said Harley Schlanger, who coordinates efforts for the national slate for the LaRouche PAC. […]
Asked about his chances of winning his election, Roberts said: “I’m not making any predictions. I hope we (as a country) survive that long. I hope we don’t go into World War III.”
One woman, Michelle Obboud, has been infuriated by the “Impeach Obama” signs in front of her local post offices and approached Roberts’ table in Plymouth to express her disgust.

And here it is.  The Bill Roberts supporter / Voter base.
After talking with Roberts, Karl Peterson, 72, of Plymouth gave $5 to the campaign because he “hate(s)” Obama. Peterson was a McCotter supporter and likely won’t vote for Roberts, but appreciates his ideas.
“You need somebody on the fringe to stir things up a bit and make people think. Otherwise they get too complacent,” Peterson said.

And… Counterpoint:  Here’s video of my conversation with Bill Roberts today at the West Bloomfield Post Office. He and his buddy Alan Agree (sp?) of Livonia actually said that President Obama’s policies are the same as Adolf Hitler. How many times would someone have had to be dropped on their head as a baby to say such a thing?

Taj must overcome an immigrant background, name and accent to beat a guy with the name of William Roberts. He is getting help from the state and national parties, which don’t want to see a LaRouche Democrat winning the primary.
“I came here as an immigrant on a green card and I’ve done reasonably well,” he said. “Nobody thought I could win an election in Canton. But once people start knowing me, they’ll be able to look beyond the name.”
But where does he stand on Glass Steagall?  Does he stand foresquare for it, and by that I mean that if we don’t get in in the next 2 weeks, an asteroid will hit the Earth and destroy all of Western Civilization?

ALSO WHY DOESN’T ROBERTS MENTION THAT 9/11 WAS AN INSIDE JOB????  That’s what the Larouche guy said.

Bill Roberts campaigns  They drew stares, curious people who asked about them and a few others who weren’t interested. It’s all part of the job for those volunteering outside of the Northville Post Officethis week.
“Even the people that so-called disagree with us, they don’t know what they’re disagreeing with,” said volunteer Alan Egre. “In a lot of cases when they talk with us and actually discuss what we’re representing out here, a lot of them actually do agree with – principally – what we’re doing.”
“As we speak, Obama is staging his Hitler coup in the form of the fascist Supercongress. Glass-Steagall has now become the only weapon of strategic defense that our nation has to head off this coup. Bankrupt the enemy, remove Obama from office,” a passage on the site reads.

The Democratic Activists ponder the election.
yes, i am in the same district.  so what do we do next Tuesday?  do we vote dem and the Doc, or do we vote in the rep primary for the nut case to help the good doc in November?
I’d say vote for the Doc He’s up against a LaRouchie in the primary.  You don’t want to take any chances against a fringe person like him. I marched in the Clawson 4th of July Parade as a campaign volunteer and I had this to say about his volunteers.  Roberts is the LaRouche candidate in the Democratic primary for the 11th Congressional District.  [His] volunteers were too busy passing out flyers saying “Impeach Obama!” and holding up signs of FDR, JFK, Jefferson, and Rosie the Riveter to hand out candy.  A lot of the more mainstream Democrats didn’t know what to make of them.  About the only explanation I could give them boiled down to “LOL, Lyndon LaRouche.”  Because my passing out candy slowed me down, I ended up beside them several times and got to observe the freakshow up close.  After a while, I had enough of observing them and sped up my walking to get ahead of them several times.

ANOTHER PO STOP.  Dateline Bloomfield.
Patch users expressed disgust at the group’s comparison of Obama to Hitler, especially in context of a video captured by a local Jewish official.
“I find this so unbelilevably (sic) offensive. And perhaps they do this to get a reaction, but I did tell them how disgusting this was…horrible,” said Teri Weingarden, the Township Treasurer, in response to a Youtube link posted by Rabbi Jason Miller of Farmington Hills, which depicts a confrontation between Egre and himself.
“We’re trying to tell them that every Jewish person that drives by here considers this hate speech,” said a man on the video accompanying Miller, later identified as Michael Smolash, the Cantor of Temple Israel in West Bloomfield.
Facebook users seemed to agree with the sentiment: “Political satire can be humorous, but I find no humor on this. On the insensitivity scale, this one is off the charts,” wrote Jennifer Ormund.”
Not a voter.  “Fascist SuperCongress”. Where do these fanatics in the LaRouche PAC get these wild terms ? Ha Ha. They are just like the actual Hitler when he demonstrated the use of “the big lie”. “Big Lies” still influence people, and some dogs still eat trash and napkins. They don’t know the difference. Alan Egre’s statement is incomprehensible and nobody that illiterate should think that they are telling anybody anything.

An open letter to the editor from Bill Roberts.

WASHINGTON NINTH.  Dave Christie.

Dateline Hayden, Idaho.  He’s made a few campaign stops in Eastern Washington and in Idaho, so I’m guessing we can just chalk this up as part of this campaign.

Question: Why would anyone come to Idaho to waste time gathering signatures for the impeachment of President Barack Obama?
Lyndon LaRouche people from out-of-stater were in front of the Hayden post office today collecting signatures in an attempt to impeach President Barack Obama. Remember that Scanner Traffic item re: loiterers on the sidewalk in front of the post office. Apparently, it was these guys. Huckleberries hears … that they were polite and moved away from certain areas when they were told to do so. (BTW, I noticed that Hitler-type mustache on President Obama’s photo in case you were wondering.) Duane Rasmussen photo special to HucksOnline.

These winners were out in front of the CDA post office this AM.
Why would anyone waste time gathering signatures to recall the mayor of Cda and 3 city council members?  (ooo… burn.)

Anyway, in more pertinent Campaign news.  There was a debate forum.
The attendees left the debate to the LaRouche Chorus singing the Star Spangled Banner and the Battle Cry of Freedom. One observer told Dave they should receive a Grammy.
Dave Christie
Christie didn’t address gun control laws, but rather blamed the military programming within the popular first person shooter games being played by today’s youth.
The inevitable marijuana question made it into the forum on Saturday. Should medical marijuana be legalized on a federal level?
“The drug mafia of the last few decades have become the drug capitalists,” said Christie. He also said that instead of legalizing the drug, the people should do away with it, claiming that society is better off without drugs.
Lastly, Christie said that it was more important to speak of principals and not party politics. He said that neither President Obama nor Mitt Romney deserve to be candidates and that his goal is to have Obama out of office by September of this year.
Debate Forum discussions.
OK, I attended the debate and here is my summary. David Christie= ” You can’t read a map” and “Someone must of dropped him on the head”. Impeach Obama? Best retort, by Congressman Smith who can read a Congressional map said to David Christie- “If you lived in your district, you can voter for yourself.”

Note to this blogger… take a second look, please:
Dave Christie, is clearly more progressive, going by the pamphlet.  Ignore this if you’re looking for a “Progressive” challenger against Adam Smith.  Do as this man says and go with Cramer… And cue the irony in that he’s being challenged on the LEFT for his military votes by progressive Tom Cramer, who has been the one candidate robo-calling (way too much) in our district. I’m going to go with Smith, but recognize that if you looking for more of a progressive, take a look at Cramer (oh, all right – the rest are traditional Republican Jim Postma, “FDR Democrat” (read LaRouche Democrat) Dave Christie, and Libertarian John Orlinski. Well at least there is diversity in the political positions (though everyone seems to want to bring back Glass-Steagall).

Voters pamphlet fun.
Dave Christie, US Congressional District Number 9, believes “globalization” is simply an extension of the “free trade” imperial policies of the British East India Company.
And Mike the Mover is still running.

OTHER STOPS ON THE MOBILIZATION

New York.  As heard on Daily Kos Radio.
You’ll also find today’s The Ministry of Truth with Armando, starring Jesse LaGreca podcast in the same post. Tune in to hear their sharp commentary on the news, plus tales of Jesse’s weekend adventures among the LaRouchies. All three hours are in the player below, with the shows broken up by hour, here.  It’s at the 15:30 to 24:30 mark on the last hour.  Off of some comments on the NRA… and here’s the take-away.
Pushing for a candidate in New Jersey.  Why they’re in New York, I have no idea.”
“Impeach Obama for what?”  … Glass Steagall… waiting for Gitmo… Talking Financial Policy and the Weimar Republic… 6 Degrees of Kevin Bacon only it’s one and Kevin Bacon is Hitler… “Inflation around the corner” and hyper-inflation…
“I do this full time so I know how to communicate to the public.”
“People started shouting ‘I’m voting for Obama!’  “I’m Jewish and this is bullshit.”

Washington DC:
Walking on up the hill, I encounter the type of public protest you almost always encounter on Capitol Hill. Two men are holding a large banner emblazoned with the chopped-up snake you see on “Don’t Tread On Me” flags.
But this isn’t a Tea Party flag, it’s a Lyndon LaRouche movement flag, and it’s message is “Glass-Steagall or Die.” It specifically calls for legislation, H.R. 1489 – the Return to Prudent Banking Act, which would once again separate investment banking from retail banking. A smaller sign says “Kick Congress in the LIBOR,” referring to the rate-fixing scandal on loans made by big banks to each other. Mike Reeves, one of the LaRouche followers holding the big sign, wants one more thing as well: Put Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner in jail.

Washington, DC Again... Mistaken identity.  Ouch to the Dems.
Commuters were greeted outside the Capitol South Metro station this morning by a group of canvassers passing out “WANTED” flyers calling for the indictment or the arrest of New York Republican Rep. Michael Grimm.
“I thought it was the [Lyndon] La Rouche people,” said one Hill aide, who received a flier when she exited Capitol South. “Then I realized it was Democrats. They are always bothering people when it’s too early to be bothered.”
The fliers were printed and distributed by Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee staffers. Capitol South was chosen as the distribution spot because of the close proximity to the National Republican Congressional Committee and the Capitol Hill Club, the DCCC tells HOH.

Ireland.  For whatever reason the Larouche Irish Brigade decided to highlight this news of historical interest.  Sure… I’ll go with it.
A potato museum in Peru is to highlight the story of the Irish Famine that changed the face of the country forever.
The Irish Times reports that the story of the Irish Famine and how it related to the potato will form a central part of a new international potato museum in the country.

Israel.  Peter Beinart is Ron Paul or Lyndon Larouche?
Could one imagine if Ron Paul supporters in England were considered to be influential voices on American politics, and offered a blog by a major British paper? Would one ever think, say that a Lyndon Larouche movement in Canada would be offered a major online media outlet on which to espouse Larouche views by one of the largest Canadian media outlets?
Clearly these extreme views which have little semblance with political reality in the country whose politics are being debated wouldn’t be featured in an overseas paper – so one wonders why all of the respect paid to Peter Beinart ? Beinart’s ”Open Zion” blog at Newsweek/The Daily Beast are radical fringe viewpoints with less support in Israel – a democratic Jewish state – than Paul or Larouche have in America.

Dateline New Jersey.  Yeah, a couple people there.

CHRIS SARE IN GREAT BRITAIN????    There are also six Democratic Congressional candidates who support the LaRouche movement, including Sare’s wife, Diane Sare. None of the candidates is from Connecticut.
Most people ignored the men, but some approached the booth and, after listening to Sare for a few minutes, signed up for more information. One man donated $25.
Others were not so interested. Louise Gordona was incensed by one of the photos at the booth, which showed Obama with a Hitler moustache added. She upbraided the men.

Dateline Sunnyside, New York
While Scialdone and Rebello said they experienced no problems presenting the views of LaRouche’s political action committee, Post Office Supervisor Danielle said that this is not always the case. “These guys [other LaRouche reps] come six times a year and we’ve had to call the NYPD several times because the arguments have gotten out of hand. The policemen calm the situation down, but that’s about all they can do.”
“I found them to be quite obnoxious,” said Carol of Forest Hills, who was in her old neighborhood to clear her P.O. Box. “I was surprised at their aggressive nature. It raises my blood pressure.” Passing motorist Allan shook his head at the picture of Obama with a Hitler mustache and said: “It’s a democratic state; they can do what they want, right?”

They have shown up once or twice a year at that spot for many years. They are typically very insulting, and in ways that have nothing to do with their stated aims. They also mark up the street with chalk messages.            They are not the ones marking the street with chalk.   But I hate them as as much as everyone else.               Are these guys still alive?

WHERE THEY BEEN HITTING THEIR ANALYSIS

Sending stuff to IEYENEWS?

The following story on the same subject was sent to us by EIR Executive Intelligence Review:
The question posed by Lyndon LaRouche is, how much of the drug money was funneled into the 2008 Obama Presidential campaign?
A serious investigation would have to explore the relationship between gunwalking and drug money laundering, and whether there was a deal between the Obama campaign and the drug cartel to launder funds into the campaign.

HISTORICAL QUIPS WITH WEBSTER TARPLEY, LOREN GOLDNER, and DAVID GOLDMAN

Webster Tarpley speaks.
In this week’s WORLD CRISIS RADIO, our old friend Dr. Tarpley recalls good times at “the so-called LaRouche organization” in the period of summer and fall 1991, as he was preparing to write the unauthorized biography of George H.W. Bush. Tune in at 51:00 to hear him praise a certain Grigori Yevevich Banderovski, who must have had the respect of THE then-imprisoned DEAR LEADER.
For, when Grigori asked aloud why they do not expose the “bastard Bush”, suddenly, according to Tarpley, “The stifling and oppressive anti-intellectualism and disorganization was swept clear, and research for the book was given top priority.”
Interesting how Tarpley recalls his long-term community service sentence in such… colourful terms!

And…  Ah, Webster–I wonder if he remembers that, by the time the book came out in 1992, LaRouche had announced that it “wasn’t the point”?
(Which was certainly true. It wasn’t–but then, Lyn said that about everything).
(And as for sweeping away anti-intellectualism, Web is kidding, isn’t he? Nothing Webster ever did swept away the remotest particle of anti-intellectualism, inasmuch as he was an intellectual poseur of the first order.)
But Lyn’s dismissal of the book once it came out was painful for authors Tarpley and Chaitkin, of course–perhaps they had not yet realized that anything anyone-who-wasn’t-Lyn did was “not the point.”

That’s interesting.  The dismissal from Larouche.  It is one of the few things of lasting legacy I can note — an organizational “best seller” of sorts.

This is bizarre- Lyndon LaRouche accused Loren Goldner of being a CIA agent
I stumbled across this and damn if this ain’t some far out moonbat shit.
If you play with fire, you’re gonna get burned. It’s the price Goldner paid for having been a cadre in LaRouche’s (then using the pseudonym Lyn Marcus — you know, to sound like Lenin-Marx) National Caucus of Labor Committees, which he was a member of from May 1973 to January of 1974. […]
Sadly, Goldner still encourages people to read Lyn Marcus’ Dialectical Economics (see Will Barnes’ critique of it here on libcom). By 1973 Marcus/LaRouche was already clearly delusional, if not an outright psychotic — his “ego-stripping” brainwashing technique seems straight out of Scientology.
It would be advisable for Goldner to come clean and break with this part of his past; unfortunately, as late as 2002 he said (in footnote 2) that “the National Caucus of Labor Committees, which in the 1968-73 period elaborated a perspective which in its political and programmatic thrust was essentially identical with our own.” Hopefully he will renounce this and repudiate this part of his past. Claims of Goldner being a CIA agent shows how psychotically deluded LaRouche had become — even 40 years ago. Goldner has made many important contributions to left communist theory, so it’s imperative that he separate himself from this nuttiness.
Hey, how about that? Being one of the original Nightwatch pair from Chicago, it’s nice to know that our efforts at deconstructing the bullshit pseudo radicalism of Marcus and his NCLC did not go unnoticed.
To our credit, we knew the followers of Marcus were whack jobs way before 1973, and at no time in its history were the politics expressed by the NCLC anywhere close to the politics expressed in Nightwatch.
We, the original pair, put out a pamphlet against the NCLC back in the day… I think the article I wrote was called “Politics of the Rosicrucians.”
p.s.: it would be deeply worrying for me to be known by the LaRouchites without being accused by them to be someones secret agent
For some reason this makes me think of that Rubberbandits “Up the ra” track. “Loren Goldner? He’s in the CIA! Noam Chomsky? He’s in the CIA! Nestor Mahkno? He’s in the CIA! Bradley Wiggins? He’s in the CIA…”.
Kinda ironic really when, behind the smokescreen of pure mentalness, Larouch actually runs a perfectly sane and highly profitable private intelligence firm that does contract work for business and, er…, guess who?
Preface: This is to be heard in the mind of the reader, according to no intended choices of punctuation differing from those which I prescribed for being heard in the reader’s mind as I have written here.

Hey.  Speaking of Tarpley.  Iranian Press TV presents author and historian Dr. Webster Griffin Tarpley  And… Ask yourself how England is the richest nation in Europe when it produces nothing but financial fraud.

Point:  To bolster your caveat about LaRouche, David Goldman, a very smart man and financial expert — aka “Spengler” — was LaRouche’s main economics man for years, until they parted ways.
Counterpoint:   This marks, I am afraid, another spiral downwards, for what used to be, an excellent, unblemished, and best of all, intelligent site; one that could distinguish between intellectual criticism of a (truly) corrupt institution(such as the ESM), Islam, etc, and the rantings of LaRouchites and their fellow-travellers.
Point:   However, seeing an editorial opinion whose author is openly identified by name and by relationship to L.L., you expatiate on his wickedness and then leap to condemn the blog for allowing anyone to read an opinion by someone you despise
Counterpoint:   If the policy of this blog, is now to publish anyone’s musings, provided they confirm with a preconceived leaning on that topic, no matter how anti-Semitic, foul, or plainly Socialist the author may be, you should let us know.
I would then beware this site, and not trouble you with my (clearly reviled) commentary here.
Pondering some things here.  For instance:  Why would I post the thoughts of the Larouche organization in supporting the re-implementation of Glass Steagall?

Hitting the DNC Convention in September to campaign for who?

Tuesday, July 17th, 2012

STORY NUMBER ONE:  ARE THE LAROUCHIES READYING TO BLITZ THE DEMOCRATIC CONVENTION?
Ralph Nader had claimed to be speaking to various Democrats to bring out a primary challenger against Obama, maybe “a former Senator” or “Former Governor” — having retired from the perennial candidacy gambit.  Nothing much came of it all.  The closest was a suggestion by Mike Gravel, which blurbed through a 24 hour news cycle then disappeared.  But it is hard to see how any “name” with a stature above Gravel would have taken the plunge, or any name of Gravel could’ve beaten out the performances by the no-names who embarrassed Obama through the “Red Streak” on the map.
So now we see the Larouche Movement’s  efforts to “Dump Obama” have moved on to the Convention.

Dateline Muskego, Who do Don and Judy Clark have in mind here?:
As to impeaching a president that will be up for re-election in less than four months? The Clarks are convinced he won’t leave, comparing him to a dictator who won’t leave office. Judy explained that the goal of the LaRouche movement is also to introduce a second candidate at the Democratic convention in September, as “Democrats don’t want him in office either…be watching the week of September.”
Muskego residents driving by were largely supportive of the anti-Obama message, but most who honked likely didn’t have LaRouche stickers on their bumpers, either. The Clarks are undeterred, and said they plan on appearing throughout the area to get their message out.
It can’t be the obvious pick…
Don’t get too excited, Republicans, they don’t like Romney, either. Their candidate? Lyndon LaRouche, who for many is a familiar name at the voting booth as a presidential candidate who ran eight times between 1976 to 2004
His days of Perennial candidacy are over, just like Ralph Nader’s are.  Even Margaret Fairchild know that.
As for LaRouche, he’s not running for office-he’s almost 90 years old-and he, in fact, does have the right to run for office, Mr. Burmeister.Xlcer tags this as a “Parlor trick” of old –the “Dark Horse at the Convention” gambit.  But the key element is missing.  Who is it that will be saving Western Civilization and Mankind from Obama now that it can’t be Larouche?  Ralph Nader can go on o endorse the Presidential campaign efforts of former Salt Lake mayor Rocky Anderson (and snub Green Party candidate Jill Stein), but the Fantasy Shadow Politics of Larouche dictates no allowance for such a course.  They need to go in-house here, somehow.  Because it is as And Howie G points out — the “Only Larouche” factor:   These actions have been taken with the full knowledge that the fight for Glass-Steagall has been led—in the United States and in Europe—by Lyndon LaRouche. As he noted in the brief statement that appeared earlier, LaRouche is the only person qualified to engineer the return to Glass-Steagall and a system of fixed-exchange-rate sovereign currencies in the trans-Atlantic region.

When the time comes to call and annoy Democratic delegates, who are they pitching?  Proven vote-getters Kesha Rogers or Perry Clark?  The former is involved in a knock-em-sock-em race with Republican powerhouse Pete Olson; the latter is in the race of his life with fiesty up and comer Chris Thieneman.

Well, I guess as the two people manning the card table at the Post Office said, “Be watching the week of September.”

STORY NUMBER TWO:  THAD MCCOTTER LEAVES IN A HUFF OF YAHOOISM

Can’t the state of Michigan solve the problem Thad McCotter dumped on them by simply convincing the House of Representatives to decline his resignation, and let everyone ignore his ensuing absenteeism through the last days of his congressional career?

Whatever.  Syed Taj has tossed this special election aside.  Better to stick with the primary and general.

Democratic candidate Dr. Syed Taj said he appreciated the encouragement and enthusiasm shown by people in the current district since the governor’s announcement, he would not be a candidate in the special election.
“Instead I am maintaining my focus on talking to voters throughout Michigan’s new 11th Congressional District in an effort to ensure that their views and values are represented for a full term in the next Congress,” Taj said.

Bill Roberts?   Bill Roberts, who is also listed on the Democratic primary ballot, has not decided whether he will run in the special election, according to Emma Reuter, campaign manager.  “We’re still on the fence,” Reuter said.
Probably not worth over-thinking this matter.  I think Nancy Cassis, the Republican establishmentarian forced into a write-in for the primary election, has the most to benefit from the special election — she’s trying to get through and any name recognition matters.  I think Bill Roberts would gain through any “Operation Chaos” maneuver — any name familiarity matters.

Wonkette Commenter asks:    What are the odds the MD gets beat by the LaRouchie? This is why we can’t have nice things.

BUT the “experts” believe… it’s … Syed Taj on the way to victory.  Democrats are expected to nominate Syed Taj, a physician who has run an underfunded campaign.

Syed Taj faces a hurdle even before the November election. He faces a primary opponent with a more familiar sounding name, one William Roberts. But Mr. Roberts is a follower of Lyndon LaRouche, and wants to impeach the President. Worrying about winning the primary is a distraction Taj hadn’t counted on, Assuming he gets past the primary, he then will face either Kerry Bentivolio or Nancy Cassis in the general election. Candidly, Taj admits he would rather face Bentivolio, because his views are likely to be seen as more extreme.
Looking past the primary and on the primary at the same time.  Tight rope…

STORY NUMBER THREE:  DAVE CHRISTIE CAMPAIGN NEWS AND NOTES

Dave Christie… interesting to see his vote totals match up against the Progressive Democrat and the Ron Paul Democrat.  There will be a debate  2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, July 21.  How will Adam Smith manage the torrent?  Stay Tuned.

Campaigning in the Fourth of July Parade:  Worse, my four-year old was handed a pamphlet by this group, which contained the infamous and ridiculously offensive picture of Obama with the Hitler-stache that the LaRouchies love so much. While I was busy being angry about the large sign, my son handed me the pamphlet, opened to that picture, and said “look, Mom!” He is well aware of who our President is and was amused and confused by it. I said “I’ll take that, those people are yucky.” Infuriating.

Oh, Basically this.   I agree with Laurel Humphrey. I believe we can profess our opinions, but we should not be disrespecting our current president in our community parade.  It’s not the appropriate venue, a Community Independence Day Parade.
I’m glad to see this letter. I felt a similar discomfort, but didn’t want to make a big deal about it in front of my 8 and 2-year old kids. I just waited to make eye contact, then gave the guy a thumbs down. He smiled back and gave me a thumbs up. While it’s not an amazing example of productive discourse, it’s an example of silent civility, right?
The LaRouche crowd actually disgusts me (and I totally agree that I”m sick of being accosted aggressively at the PO). But there you go: what Bree and Eric said. Though I do wonder if there can’t be criteria established for the parade that would limit it to positive participants who want to celebrate democracy instead of smirking and sneering at it all the time? (My Dad was in the Marine Corps for many years and has had a lifelong reputation for being the prototypical “steely eyed missle man.” The only time in my entire life I saw him lose his cool–and in a big way–was when he was trying to get by LaRouche people to get into the Post Office.)

Underground Serbian Cafe with Dave Christie:  The nearly 170 years of opium smoking at The Economist, may have finally taken its toll.

In other items… Howie G enjoyed his Diane Sare campaigning.  Hm.

STORY NUMBER FOUR:  ON THE EVE OF DESTRUCTION YET AGAIN

Chickens in a tough spot. It’s like a horror movie when the door closes too soon and you watch your friend get torn apart by zombies/tentacles/LaRouchies through the porthole.  Poor chickens!

Harley Schlanger wants you to know — “We’re about to have the most devastating collapse in world history“.   The SGT Report is a haven of these reports.  Next up we gets out “Tim Geithner is Dead Meat.”  Even though he’s with the corruptable Obama Administration?

Bill Goode wants to know:
It makes me nervous that a sight such as SGT would become so enamoured with LaRouche. Typically SGT has promoted causes for less government involvement in our lives and cutting government spending. These are causes that I believe in and look for news and opinions on. Lately however, SGT has become very enamoured with LaRouche, which is a very dangerous organization. To SGT I would ask “Why would you support government involvement in massive public works projects, especially at a time when our governments (federal, state and local) are all going bankrupt?” We cannot afford them. Nor should we depend on governments to construct and operate such projects. They only make the people more dependent on the government. Is that what SGT is after? It didn’t used to be. Now ??? What’s up SGT?

Yeah.  Well.  We get this claim.  If you close your eyes, you’d swear Harley was a Libertarian.  See too he’s worked with Ron Paul.

Larouche:  We Are Now Living on the Brink of Hell.
More coverage with these 2012 predictions.
We got some agreement here.
Note: I don’t squarely recommend Lyndon Larouche. He went insane around the time of the assassination attempts on him–who can blame him. Before that, he was a little odd, but actually got some stuff right in his assessments and predictions. Repeatedly, I keep going back to saying, “Wait, Larouche was right back when he said…” He now functions with a very tight, unhealthy personality cult around himself. If you question anything, even for the sake of obtaining clarification, you’re treated like a threat. He has some good researchers under him, but that’s about as good as it gets. Check their material, but don’t let them know you exist. Stay flexible. I hope this reply is worth your time.

Gunny G reposts Larouche post about The Need to Save Humanity by Removing Obama from office NOW.  It is almost impossible to overstate the strategic significance of the fact that an important group within the top echelons of the British Establishment have come to the conclusion that Glass-Steagall is the only survival option open to them.

Howie G says:  This is from the London Telegraph, the British are going LaRouche and LaRouche Pac, they are going Glass Steagall crazy, for real Harlem dudes.
and their proposal that the United States join them in establishing a classical Glass-Steagall banking reorganization of the transatlantic financial system immediately.

I am going to call ‘Shill’ on this guy.  He is a very clever Shill, I will give him that, but a NWO proponent he is.
I smell Rockafeller and Rothschild, remember the recent annoucement that the two were going to merge.

Lawrence Freeman on Iran’s Press TV.
Here’s what it gets them.
AND0950 GMT: Foreign Affairs (Syrian Front). Iranian State media has been most unhappy with Tehran’s exclusion from this weekend’s international conference on Syria, and Press TV goes farther this morning with a darker vision: “West Seeks War with Russia”. AND The “analyst” who gives Press this insight? Lawrence Freeman of the “Executive Intelligence Review”, an outlet for the theories of political eccentric and conspiracy theorist Lyndon LaRouche.
AND   There is always a new twist to the uprising in Syria and now analysts say that the United States and Britain are hell bent on starting World War IIIWorld War III under the garb of peace in Syria.

Wait.  There’s A MUST READ ARTICLE BY ANTON CHAITKIN???

ITEM NUMBER FIVE:  HISTORICAL FOOTNOTES

Blast from the Past.  This is The Larouche Legacy. I remember repressive measures proposed by extremists, such as Lyndon La Rouche, who tried to pass a ballot measure to quarantine people with HIV. We fought those measures and defeated them, but wasted valuable resources that could have been used to care for those who needed it.

Blast from the Past.
Dr. Gabriel G. Nahas, a controversial medical researcher who became a prominent crusader against marijuana after being shocked to hear, at a PTA meeting in 1969, about the drug’s widespread use, died on June 28 in Manhattan. He was 92. […]
This is the same Dr. Nahas who claimed his studies showed pot created chromosome, testosterone (male hormone) damage, and countless other horrible effects which suggested the breaking down of the immune system. Nahas’ background is in the OSS/CIA and later the U.S. where he worked closely with Lyndon LaRouche and Kurt Waldheim.
This is Larouche’s legacy.  Accumulate some figures in political activity at their “no longer taken serious” period of their careers.

A bit of fascinating history on this … well, neo-nazi blog… Stevenson and the Democrats tried to kill off his make-shift party he created to run for office without sharing the ballot line with the Larouchies.  The Republican vetoed it.  His party fell to… Fulani and the Newmanites.  This is the Larouchie legacy:  Ballot curiosities.

The LaRouchies must be going wild about this.  Because “Nation Opens Up Wallets” on Health Care Ruling.   I do miss those loons … I’m sure they’re going nuts, but it’s impossible for them to get attention when the mainstream GOP has seized control of.
One Utah… random comment:    Lyndon LaRouche. Ultimate wing-nut.  Why settle for anything less than the real thing?
Lyndon LaRouche?  Ron Paul?  Or a ‘puter literate teabagger’s sock puppet?.
Are there any connections between the Kimberlinites and the Larouchies? Besides combining insanity with politics, I mean. Comment by Dr. Weevil — 6/26/2012 @ 9:25
(Describing some right-wing pols in Nevada):  They are IAP interlopers playing in the Dem’s sandbox and have the toxic effect that the La Rouchies have for national Dems.

Rick Potvin celebrates … One of the first books I read, by Larouche, was “The Economics of the NOosphere”, a stunning critique of economics as practiced and taught in universities, of which I was a recipient. The only economics that is real is, in fact, physical: Physical economics. The financial economy, so-called, has nothing to do with economics. Those calling themselves economists are effectively traitors to mankind.

Larouchie pops up on Thom Hartmann board.

ITEM NUMBER SIX.  MISC PO TOUR ITEMS

Dateline Port Washington, Wisconsin.
In fact, the 50-year-old Fredonia man was so offended that he stopped his car and confronted the subjects at the stand, grabbing one of them by the neck, according to the police report.
The stand in the 1000 block of North Wisconsin Street had some large signs reading “Impeach Obama” with images of the president sporting a “Hitler mustache,” police said.
The man was cited for disorderly conduct.

More. Did you not read my post ?The LaRouche’s have used this same poster for years ,the only thing changed is the name of the president under the mustache.Don’t take my word for it go to their web site. These guys have been around as long as Castro. They are not even Republicans, instead they wish to bring back the Roosevelt of LaRouches youth. They also have a strange facination with large public projects and building a space fleet to protect Earth.
Should have just egged them.
he was not attacking him. he was just adjusting his collar.
i don’t know ask the woman at the rand paul townhall that got her head stomped on by a rand paul buddie. so attacking someone is ok based on their political views?
I was their and signed the petition proudly to Impeach this president. Please don’t compare Bush who actually was a service man and served his country compared to a president who is very much Anti American, whom supports and funds American tax payers money to terrorist to improve their place of worship that by the way is their spot to teach their kids to hate Christians and Americans. I am Hispanic and did not vote for Mr.Obama and will not vote for him in November because he did not have what a Leader should have to run this nation,, thus far he has done everything to prove what a poor leader he is. The only thing good that I see that came of his presidency is that now America has a Black American President and even that is in question with Mr. Obama. Yes they had a picture of Mr.Obama with a mustache like Hitler and how I see it as an American that is called Freedom of Speech. Just the way the liberals use their Freedom of speech to kill babies and support same sex marriages I am sure the conservatives have their right to show their thoughts on how we see Mr. Obama. So get over it people and realize that you cant have your cake and eat to..oh yeah I forgot that’s why Obamacare is so important to you the liberals who love to use others hard working earned money.

Dateline New Canaan:  One supporter donated cash while another, who identified himself as a carpenter, stated that her referred to himself as more of a “Jeffersonian” than a “Hamiltonian.”

Dateline Brattlesboro, Vermont.  Part of the Rachel Brown Campaign.

Visitors to Brattleboro’s post office Monday were greeted by a provocative image – President Barack Obama wearing what appeared to be an Adolph Hitler-style mustache. […]
They said they had traveled from Boston and acknowledged a “mixed reception” in Brattleboro, where they planned to stay only one day before moving on.

Asked about the altered Obama photo, one staffer said: “The image does grab more attention.” […]
The Brattleboro display included a promotion for Rachel Brown, a “LaRouche Democrat” campaigning for Massachusetts’ 4th Congressional District. That seat currently is held by retiring Democratic Rep. Barney Frank.

Campaigning for Rachel Brown in Vermont?

UTAH:  CRUSHING BLOW FOR GLASS STEAGALL
As a whole, I’d prefer Orrin Hatch to Dan Liljenquist… I guess?.  It probably doesn’t matter that much — we’ll come to that day when the Republicans take over the Senate and we can have the Senate waste a day in July with Orrin Hatch bringing up a Flag Burning Banning Amendment.
Still, there was this matter.  Dan Liljenquist was a supporter of Glass Steagall, though he didn’t think it worth taking up campaign time — too complicated to lure voters.  Had Liljenquist won the Utah primary, the Larouchepac websites would be carrying on about how this was a big victory for Glass Steagall (never mind the rest of his policies — austerity, I guess you can say.)
Anyway… Humanity is doomed.    Even though there is optimism here.  Huh.
… Just as well, since…  DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA  The Supreme Court upheld Obama’s “Hitler” Health Care Program.   5 to 4.  Another victory for the British Empire.  Well
As if the president wasn’t already feeling squeezed by the pending Obamacare decision in the Supreme Court and the planned contempt citation against his attorney general, Eric Holder, now Lyndon LaRouche’s posse is going stepping up its assault on the president.
The man holding the sign just laughed when asked if people were sneering at him, and two others handed out flyers warning about a new and costly stimulus package being considered by the administration. There were few takers.
News travels.  Time to mobilize … Dateline Pittsburgh… first stop was the Post Office. Outside were 2 men, with Lyndon LaRouche signs, some saying “impeach Obama” “Honk if you hate Obama”. One picture of Obama had a Hitler’s mustache painted on. […]  As we left, we passed by the Lindies, and my mom said to them “I’m putting Obama up for sainthood, and may you head in the opposite direction.”

KENTUCKY
It does look like a Race from Hell, doesn’t it.  Thieneman Vs. Clark, Kentucky Senate District 37.
I think I’ve… “PUNKED” this writer:  Big-time fans of LaRouche (dubbed “LaRouchies”) say that Perry Clark is the highest elected “LaRouchie” in the nation and should be elected President of the United States.  If it comes from my facetious posting suggesting that Perry Clark should be the Larouchie pick for President… Sigh.  Sigh.  Sigh.  (Either him or Sidney Hill of Alaska, I say… But I guess Kesha Rogers now has enough cache to take a run next time.)
Interestingly:  Clark also supports the EPA and other regulatory agencies.  I’m a bit surprised by this.  It is the case that Obama’s current Appalachia Problem is a Democratic one — it is not wholly about race, there is a big drop off in support to Al Gore in 2000 after Bill Clinton’s performances.    And so when regional politics collide with national politics:  He’s right about the “war on coal” being silly. But he doesn’t bother mentioning that it’s primarily Democrats in Kentucky pushing that hogwash.
LaRouche USA & Russia and China have a better one.
(An Environmental book.  Huh.  Not the issue drawing in Clark, though?)

MICHIGAN
Two candidates on the Democratic ticket who are running for U.S. Congress in the 11th District criticized one another this week.  Yeah.  Well.
So, let’s get this straight. In the 11th District we have: a GOP incumbent who was knocked off the ballot because about 80 percent of his nominating petition signatures were fraudulent; a lone Republican, Kerry Bentivolio, a Tea Party candidate, who raises reindeer; a former GOP state senator, Nancy Cassis, trying to make a political comeback as a write-in candidate while serving as the Republicans’ anointed anti-Bentivolio contender; a wacky LaRouchie running as a Democrat who criticizes Obama more harshly than any Republicans; and a second Democrat with a terrible political name who’s trying to make the leap from Canton Township trustee to congressman.
Oh, boy. Pass around the popcorn. This is going to be fun to watch.
Maybe.

The Bill Roberts Campaign … in Indiana?
“We’re everywhere,” Bill Roberts, a LaRouche Democratic candidate for Michigan’s 11th congressional district, said.  “We’re on a national mobilization right now.” […]  LaRouche PAC workers at the demonstration were not allowed to be interviewed.  “[Obama’s] going down,” said one worker to a man listening to the group’s message.  “You should sign up.  You should back us up.” […]  “The connection of Obama is an honest assessment of what Obama’s policies have been,” Roberts said.

Is this the equivalent of when Obama or Romney make a “Rubber Chicken Dinner” fund-raising appearance into a state they’re not soliciting votes in?
So we get the discussion of this Race.
I don’t like LaRouche’s politics, but the guy is a hoot. The way he incorporates Thermo Nuclear War into any conversation is just awesome. And he is completely in favor of impeaching Obama (to avoid Thermo Nuclear War), so I can’t complain about that.
Here is a recent LaRouche clip. Very entertaining. How many times does he say Thermo Nuclear War in this interview?

We do see that Syed Taj is turning into the presumptive nominee. So in November it will be Kerry Bentivolio against Syed Taj.  A good sign.

So, there’s this.  Taj supports the Affordable Health Care Act.  [Fails to mention Roberts’s position.]
Roberts responds that Taj’s comments are “cultish.”  [comedy gold.  But let’s play with this.  We have one of those “Obama Cult” bits.

Hm.   De Hm.  Even the political angle isn’t new. Jim Jones and his murderous child-abusing cult started out as community organizers for California Democrats, and leading politicians, including saintly hero Harvey Milk, covered for his crimes until the whole thing got too big and Jones got too crazy. Long before Obama, Lyndon LaRouche went the campus cult route and if you are morbidly curious, you can find videos where “LaRouche Youth”, who have broken ties with their families and friends, shout insane slogans while their glazed eyes stare fixedly into the camera.
This editorial is so 2008.  The good news of that whole “You campaign in poetry and govern in prose” line is that it leads to a break-up of whatever element of truth is in this “cult” line of attack.  We do have a bit of comedy is found in the comments section of partisan Republicans concerning Reagan and Bush (“Bush was an antidote to the Cult of Clinton”)– note the Haloed- Obama image, which is identical to … the exact same creepy haloed Bush images.
A passage for your consideration … from Confessions of a Congressman, by Jerry Voorhis — the first person to lose an election race to Richard Nixon — pages 20-21, published 1947, on his first election from the 12th Congressional District of California in 1936.

All the Democratic aspirants vied with one another in their expressions of support and admiration for President Roosevelt.  In fact, one of my problems arose when one of the candidates announced that he was not only “one hundred per cent for Roosevelt” but also one hundred per cent for any proposal, past, present, or future, which the President might make.  He challenged me specifically to state whether I could match his one hundred per cent performance.  I couldn’t and said so.  I declared myself in support of the broad principles which I believed President Roosevelt soot for but attempted, without too much political success, I believe to explain that I could not conscientiously pledged myself in advance to any and all proposals which any human being, however wise and admirable, might advance.
Syed Taj isn’t saying that.

Michigan Liberal discussion  By the way, have I ever mentioned about my ongoing spat with the LaRouchies over DDT? Those people are positively weird for DDT, and claim that the global ban of its use has led to a genocide 10 times greater than the Holocaust. The problem? There is no such thing as a global ban on DDT.
Maybe I’m just naive, but is there any realistic scenario for Roberts to get the nomination?  I just don’t see it.  I guess a warning is always good to get out there, but some folks (particularly out of state) forget that we’re talking Michigan 11th, the wealthiest and maybe the most highly educated district, in the entire state.  If this were MI-8 where I live, I’d be a little worried given that we include Livingston County, which has a really storied history of bigotry and general weirdness.  But MI-11?  Actually, the more I think about it, there is only one realistic scenario in which Roberts gets the nomination or becomes competitive, and that’s an Operation Chaos-type dealy.  Still, I hear Taj is really working the district, hard.  Now, when we get into the general, his cultural background is going to matter more, but in a Democratic primary in an upscale district where he has all of the money?
No “Operation Hilarity” here In a way, L. Brooks Patterson’s backroom deal to push a write-in campaign for Nancy Cassis HELPS Dr. Taj for the primary, since it will make otherwise-idle Republicans want to take the GOP ballot to vote for Bentivolio or write in Cassis.  The biggest problem is simply the damn NAME: “Bill Roberts” is as stereotypically-American as it gets. “Syed Taj” is a harder sell…but sell it we shall!
Hm.  Uh oh.  The other Bill Roberts   Or that Bill Roberts is the long time mayor of Walled Lake and a well-known Democrat. Don’t think the LaRouchies aren’t trying to take advantage of that with their phony candidate.
Well.  Landmines exist in any election campaign, I suppose.

WASHINGTON Dave Christie Campaign Update

Uh huh.  That should bring in the votes.  We’ll see how many takers there are for this town hall.  Saturday, June 30 at the Kent Commons Green River Room, 525 Fourth Ave. N
Hm.   For the Aug. 7 primary election, the debate for District 9 Congress candidates is scheduled for 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, July 21.  Noted for future reference, I suppose.

TEXAS
Democratic Underground conversation  FYI, someone’s trying to shut this thread down by alerting on the OP nt
I’m almost tempted to move to TX-22 and run against Kesha myself.  I may be batshit crazy at times, but at least with me you know what you’re getting.   Kesha might call herself an FDR Democrat, but we all know she’s really a WTF Democrat.  No Democrat would have a chance, so this really isn’t that big of a deal.
No Democrat would have a chance, so this really isn’t that big of a deal

Convention Diary
LaRouche delegation outside of convention center, banging on a drum and intoning something about Glass-Stegall.
Better head down to the convention floor. Someone’s belting out a tune at full volume. It could get rowdy. Which is just the way I like my Democratic conventions.

Harsh Words on KP George here.  From what limited I saw of KP George, I wasn’t all that impressed with him, but in the strange task of winning a nomination for a meaningless slot of losing in November by 20 in a race that comes down to largely which candidate’s name looks best on the ballot… meh?  Unless you can script in someone named “Yarborough”, I’d say… Go with KP George again.
The Larouchies are crazy.   I missed them. I enjoy going up to them and asking them how many years did LaRouche serve in prison. They do not like talking about this.  KP George was at the convention. He kept trying to tell me (and anyone else who would listen) that he ran a good race against Kesha Rogers and I was not in the mood to argue and did my best to escape and to avoid him. KP put his ego ahead of the party and ran a poor campaign. The Fort Bend Party and clubs paid for a mailing that help him win Fort Bend County. KP did little or nothing in Brazoria or Harris counties which is why he lost
I  heard from a SDEC rep that Kesha tried to speak at the labor caucus and was kicked out
The security was not that tight at the convention and I saw on the kesha rogers webpage that she spoke to the veteran’s caucus. Kesha is crazy but not stupid .Kesha was a coward and did not tell the caucus that she wants to impeach President Obama. I wish that Kesha had the courage to tell the members of that caucus her true positions on the issues.
Kesha also had a “rally” outside the convention site and evidently had three people attend. I did see the rally but she has a picture on her website. The picture of Kesha’s “rally” was not clear but I did not see her normal impeach Obama message or the poster with a picture of President Obama with a hitler mustache.
More  Sic transit Gloria mundi, LaRoucies!

NEW JERSEY  Howie G  … Cancel things that are not real.  Think of all that money that is tied up in the Federal Reserve system. It’s used toilet paper, and you go and try to use it again.  Once the Americans realize that they were being stupid can turn everything around.
That is the significance of the Bergenfield NJ meeting with former candidates Diane Sare, LaRouche Democrat, Mark Quick , Reform Party, and Bonnie Sommer, Republican party, former canddidates in the fifth CD of New Jersey.
As always… was this big significant meeting covered by anyone anywhere?  Also… Mark Quick is no longer with the Reform Party.

An interesting note from the campaign
And most recently using Nixonian tactics to cover up for a DOJ gun-running operation, “Fast and Furious,” which will hopefully end his administration before the Democratic nominating convention.  Yeah, well… Fox News, much?
Nice to include the Green Party candidate in there!

OTHERS:  HARLEY SCHLANGER KNOWS RON PAUL!!!!
Hm de hm.  How do I email you? I know LaRouche’s second in command Harley Schlanger. Harley also has known Ron Paul for over twenty years.  Elaboration, please?

William Colby.  Webster Tarpley — yelp, Bilderberg time.

In the academic world, Bernard Lewis is well known as the most distinguished living historian of the Middle East. But in the more sensationalist corners of the American media, he is a darkly sinister figure. This quietly spoken, silver-haired British-Jewish academic, now in his 96th year, is apparently the intellectual Rasputin of the White House. Allegedly, Lewis was the person whose briefings persuaded George W Bush to go ahead with the invasion of Iraq.
Decades before that, Professor Lewis had been described as the British spywho masterminded the Iranian Revolution: he organised it in order to weaken Russia, and thereby hasten the revival of British imperial rule in the Middle East. This bizarre theory was invented by Lyndon LaRouche, the American fringe politician who also thinks that the Queen runs a worldwide criminal conspiracy. His ideas are not taken too seriously in the United States; but one has to wonder how much credence they are now given on Middle Eastern websites.

Along these lines… Conservative Papers
This situation in Syria is just a warm-up before a real confrontation, which will draw Russia and China into action, believes Lawrence Freeman from the Executive Intelligence Review magazine. […]
“This could result – and I think the Russians and the Chinese are aware of this – this could result in World War III,” he said. “So this is extremely dangerous, and measures have to be taken now to stop these policies by President Obama to radicalize the middle east”

Satan’s Fake Apocalypse
Obomber would have sent UAV-type drones instead, but Congress has been holding out for more money before allowing drone strikes in the US. This they would accomplish by defining those who terrify the British empire as “radical extremists,” as the media has already done to LaRouche.

In wacky lawsuit land.  I think I’ve figured out the root stock of the madness of the Carreons — they’re associated with the LaRouchies. I was paging through some of Tara Carreon’s nuttiness on Techdirt, and she referenced something called “How the Dead Souls of

NEXT UP: SYED TAJ VERSUS BILL ROBERTS

TEXAS — 22nd:  ATTENTION DISTRICT DEMOCRATS:  THE GREEN PARTY CANDIDATE IS NAMED DON COOK.
And so we have this new bad habit brewing in Texas’s 22nd Congressional District.  Various committee meetings had been held earlier in the day. The only one that produced anything of note/controversial was the SDEC Resolutions committee. They proposed a resolution relating to campaigns affiliated with someone named LaRouche (whom I got the impression is a rather nasty customer!) The resolution stated that Kesha Rogers – who has such an affiliation – does not need to be supported by Texas Democrats.
Special note to Democratic voters in Texas’s 22nd Congressional District.  In 2010, your 3rd Party candidate was a Libertarian.  This time you have a Green Party candidate.  Don Cook will also be running in the general election, as the Green Party candidate.  Maybe he will be more appealing.

The round-up from the Primary election returns.  Indo-American News came in with:  Both candidates thanked their volunteers and supporters, but have yet to reveal their plans to run for political offices in the near future.  From what I see at KP George’s website, he seems to be wanting to run again.  Indeed, he says so here.  (A bit of an off-statement here:   George’s shoestring campaign got a boost in April after Rogers, a radical Democrat, made a bizarre statement calling for the impeachment of President Barack Obama.)   Italy Responds!   (or, you know, their Larouchies) We in Italy certainly hope she does go back to Glass-Steagall, there are two law proposals in this direction also in Italy. It’s the only way to stop speculation and economic collapse.
AND Wow! If one of my fellow bloggers doesn’t buy up MoonColonyDemocrats.com anytime soon, I just might. Kesha Rogers won the nomination again for CD-22 against a sincere individual like KP George who had his heart in the right place, as well as the support of activist Dems. Much like some of us are wondering what the hell happened in a few Harris County races, many of my friends are doing the same in CD-22. Is it a disconnection between the Party and Dem-leaning voters?
The case of the “few Harris County races” is the same as the case of Kesha Rogers.

In the Florida Space Report… Kesha Rogers gets second billing.  Lampson a Step Closer to Returning to Congress
A two-time former member of Congress who has been active on space issues won a Democratic primary for another Texas district last night.  […] The man who beat Lampson in the 22nd district in 2008, Rep. Pete Olson, won the Republican primary, putting him on track to win a third term this fall. […] Rogers, who affiliates herself with Lyndon LaRouche, appears to be running again on the theme “Save NASA, Dump Obama”; her “Space Colonization & Planetary Defense” platform calls for, among other things,  — “Among other Things” is the phrase that pays.

Mother Jones
I think the operative hashtag here is #DemsInDisarray.
Off The Kuff  I don’t even know what to say.
And.  There are only half a dozen or so Democrats in Fort Bend County so perhaps they should get a break, but still, that’s pretty embarrassing.
Yahoo News   Besides Larouche, Rogers cites a number of past American presidents, including Dwight Eisenhower, Abraham Lincoln, John Quincy Adams, and GeorgeWashington, as well as former Rep. Barbara Jordan as role models.  Might as well start listing I don’t know… John Byrne and Adam Ant for all this means.

Half Empty Spoke too early  Buh-bye Kesha. Don’t let the door hit you on your way out of CD-22.

Irregular Times as the Results come rolling in.   Has somebody been performing scientific experiments on the Democrats in the 22nd district, leaving them unable to sense the presence of paranoid delusions in a political candidate?

So… We now enter this 5 month period where Pete Olson versus Kesha Rogers elicits but an occasional news blip of the equivalent of a “Water Skiing Story” item, some schaudenfruede from Republicans and conservatives, and a whole lot of “History on the March” from LPAC.  On election day, she will receive some 5 or 7 percent less than in 2010, owing mostly to the shift in the district Republican-wise.  [I gather the Republicans just drew up a district that would’ve saved Tom Delay a few election cycles back.]
It is not meaningless: the victory does give them a bigger platform to play with, and a sense of “History on the March”.  (See here Howie G and the Texas Democratic Convention:  The small number of delegates attending showed some life, as many greeted Kesha Rogers (the just-elected Democratic nominee for the 22nd district) by saying “We support you, I’m glad you won, keep fighting”, as they scurried away, so no one would see them.  Just remember: 9 out of 10 Kesha Rogers voters cast the same ballot for Barack Obama.)

Maybe it’ll get them back on Russia TV — who knows?… Still ironically, Carol Johnson Smith’s 8 percent in a primary in Indiana in 2010 was more meaningful.

From Democratic Underground:  Due to the demographics, the local party was unable to recruit a strong candidate and that contributed to the loss.Again, the defeat of a weak democrat in this primary does not mean that Texas Democrats are rejecting President Obama or favor his impeachment. In Fort Bend County, we attempted to educate our voters about the dangers of the LaRouche’s candidates and these results paid off to some degree.
Speak all your bromides about the “50 State Strategy” you want, but you will hit a wall at a district which seems mostly just designed to hypothetically and retroactively hang onto Tom Delay during his corruption trials.  You can’t really expect a politician with an eye toward future political success to throw their lot in this one.  Still, there are some laments here

So it doesn’t make me happy to say that if I lived in Olson’s district, I’d just have to skip the opportunity to vote against him because his Democratic opponent is high-functioning lunatic Kesha Rogers. […]  But Rogers really isn’t to blame. Cranks are cranks and she’s got as much right to put her name on a ballot as any other crackpot. That she was nominated by the Democratic Party for the second time in a row says a lot more about the combination of ignorance, nihilism, and apathy that apparently drives the Democratic voters of her district than it does about her.

Dear Liberal Editorial Writer for the Houston Chronicle by the name of Geoff Berg:  Look in the Mirror.  This is an editorial which should have been done before the election.  Because Kesha Rogers already won in 2010.  Actually what I was waiting for, taking for granted that I would see, was Houston Chronicle’s endorsement list.  I never saw it.  A simple sentence saying Kesha Rogers was an unacceptable choice for the nomination — worth more than a sharply barbed op-ed from the local party.  It is, I will say, the reason for the line of attack we see from the cult shown with the comment section to this water-skiing squirrel Kesha Rogers campaign piece
What do you get when you combine the most entertaining parts of the tea party, libertarianism, and the tin foil hat club?  […]  They became slightly less fringe last week.

Howie G brings us this report:  The small number of delegates attending showed some life, as many greeted Kesha Rogers (the just-elected Democratic nominee for the 22nd district) by saying “We support you, I’m glad you won, keep fighting”, as they scurried away, so no one would see them.  Actually that’s boring.  More interesting is “Reports from the West Virginia Convention” — that red streak which along with Kentucky is actually anti-Obama Democrat Country, and the cult can get some mileage in reportage.

I did see it the endorsement line with the New Jersey race, and that was when I knew… Diane Sare was going to get swamped.  Not so much because of the editorial per se, but because of the political culture we take for granted that this suggests.

NEW JERSEY 5th ROUND UP:  MARK QUICK, SELF APPOINTED GUARDIAN OF THE TEA PARTY, BRINGS DIANE SARE ALL THOSE VOTES.
Howie G assesses the election.  Declares victory.  Because the candidate who was probably benefited by losing the race (“got some experience in his first race”, will go on to the next one with a more reasonable chance in November) lost… and because in another race the candidate better associated with Clinton beat the one better associated with Obama.

North Jersey Record endorses Castle.  Three Democrats are seeking the nomination to take on Garrett. They are Jason Castle, Adam Gussen and Diane Sare, a follower of Lyndon LaRouche. Given the fact Sare has called for impeaching President Obama, a rather peculiar position for a Democrat, the race for us is a two-person affair between Castle and Gussen.
And that was all I wanted to see out of the Houston Chronicle.  Instead, you had to go back two months to see something substantial.  Because this is fun and all, this back and forth, but… no one sees it.

Good to get some more specific numbers on the big race in New Jersey’s fighting Fifth!
Democratic Teaneck Councilman Adam Gussen (86 Oradell votes and 178 From River Edge) defeated opponents Jason Castle (43 Oradell and 87 River Edge) and Diane Sare (0 Oradell and 15 River Edge votes) for the right to challenge Garret this fall.
Oradell is NOT Diane Sare Country.

And in this list of Seven Races to watch… Diane Sare could not beat out Roseanne Barr presidential bid.

Actually the figure of interest that emerges out of New Jersey, and the whole thing had the feel to it of a set-up, is Mark Quick — self appointed spokesperson for New Jersey’s Tea Party from his perch as Reform Party candidate.  This Conservative blogger takes Mark Quick to task.

RoseAnn Salanitri, of Sussex Tea Party fame and currently the campaign manager for United States Senate Candidate Bader Qarmout, and her one time running mate Mark Quick, a perennial candidate for various state and Federal offices, now a member of the Reform Party; are both actively supporting and encouraging others to vote for Diane Sare, a Democrat running for Congress in New Jersey’s 5th Congressional District. […]
Are there conservatives in the Democrat Party anymore?  Are conservatives moving to support Lyndon LaRouche supported candidates?
The answer to the first question is complicated; the second one is something like — well, there’s Mark Quick, I guess.

And here we see Mark Quick make his pitch to the Democratic voter.

Mark Quick makes the pitch to Democrats, claiming Diane Sare as the Tea Party Candidate
My personal choice is Diane Sare someone willing to take on the banks, against free trade and about Constitutional government, like her ideas or not she has a vission of a future.. The others are about keeping the fight that hurts us all. Also Diane is the only ANTI WAR candidate… My question is simple how deeply do you desire to rid our district of Scott Garrett, like it or not your going to need Tea Party support.

Hm.  And Mark Quick controls that vote and will direct it to a Larouche candidate, how?

That Mark Quick sure is a King-Maker!  See Daniel Burke make the pitch.

Diane Sare is the only Democrat running who is strong enough to beat Garrett – AND she has the endorsement of Reform candidate Mark Quick.

By the way, this responder loses.  If I were a betting man I would wager she does not get even 10 percent of the vote today.

The Diane Sare campaign chimed in with this question:
I see Diane’s campaign everywhere! How are Gussen and Castle going to win with no campaign?
Got this vote!   I think I’ll put my vote with Diane (and by implication with LaRouche) and vote for Glass Steagall and impeaching Obama, if Castle or Gussen can handle that then I would vote for them.
But not this one!  As far as her affiliation with Larouche. Aren’t these the same people who claimed AIDS could be transferred by mosquitoes and casual contact? I wont even delve into their numerous convictions for fraud and harassment.
AND   And what has she done with that $30,000? As far as I can tell it’s been spent on lawn signs. Her campaign is a joke, there is no way it can be taken seriously.

A look into the campaign as it continues.  Dateline East Hamton.
Sare said the response he received so far on Thursday was mixed. “Some are thoughtful. One guy told me he sees through Obama.”
Soonafter, a driver rode by and shouted an obscenity.

Irregular Times on Diane Sare:
Diane Sare, a follower of Lyndon LaRouche who calls liberalism a “disease”, says that global warming exists, and proposes ideas like the creation of large communities on Arctic islands and the colonization of Mars
The LaRouchies aren’t off to a good start in the Democratic primary race. Sare has less than 15 percent of the vote so far. Will Mars never be qualified?

If only it were the IT Score that mattered
What is the It Score?  The It Score measure’s a politician’s digital influence.
I think LPAC drove Diane Sare’s score up, but that was just the cult talking to itself and stuff.

And the fall-out within the New Jersey “Tea Party”, the Larouche Splinter and the main body of it, commences
Don’t play the politician Marky, you CLEARLY attacked Congressman Garrett in your endorsement of that Larouche Marxist.
You are a fraud, a Democrat mole in the Warren County GOP. Your whole town should be ashamed.

Larouchies making the case
Daniel Burke for “Taking the Fifth”:  Make sure you include information on this page about Diane Sare, a LaRouche Democrat who is also running in the June 5th Primary. She is the only Democratic candidate with the integrity to call for the immediate impeachment of Obama for usurpation of the constitution and the FDR-style recovery necessary to save the union from destruction.

Dateline Parisipanny  “It’s not a party,” said self-described activist John Scialdone, who hails from Hackensack but travels across the state to reach voters. “We are a movement.”
Indeed, it is a long-standing movement of an estimated few thousand people across the nation who support the work of Lyndon LaRouche.
Dateline Hingham,  Most shoppers ignored the campaigners, some gave the man and woman dirty looks,  while some vehicles passing by honked their horn at them.

MICHIGAN 11th:  THE DEMOCRAT’S NAME IS SYED TAJ.  KNOW THE NAME TO AVOID THE GREAT TEA PARTY — LAROUCHIE  RACE FROM HELL.

Meanwhile, Democrats have their own primary problems to worry about in the district. Michigan Democrats support internist Syed Taj for the nomination, but first he must defeat Bill Roberts, a Lyndon LaRouche activist, in the primary.
Democrats kept quiet about Taj’s prospects in the early wake of McCotter’s ballot flap. Privately, they remained unsure the GOP-leaning seat was winnable. But since McCotter announced he will not seek re-election, Democrats are taking a second look at the district.

The irony is that Bill Roberts’s chances of winning the nomination would have been higher had the Democrats been left with little / no chance of winning the election in November — when no coverage might have propelled a blind race and a good number of low information ballot picking. Following the fiasco with McCotter, the party’s candidate — Syed Taj — is kind of a position somewhere between the two extremes of that of KP George and Barney Frank in regards to how to treat his Larouchie opponent.  But we all know the problems Taj has…

Uh huh
Now it is important to note that the rather bizarre candidates I mentioned may not be the congressional nominees. Most politically aware Democrats would rather see the other candidate on the ballot, Dr. Syed Taj, win the nomination. Taj is a legitimate alternative, a native of India who is now the chairman of the Department of Medicine at Oakwood Hospital; he’s also an elected trustee of Canton Township. But his name may look less familiar than William Roberts to many voters. The party clearly needs to work hard to educate people.

Not a promising sign.  Not a promising sign.
In a June 11 story about the race for the Michigan congressional seat held by Republican Rep. Thaddeus McCotter, The Associated Press misidentified one of the Democratic candidates. He is Dr. Syed Taj, not Dr. Taj Syed.
But the campaign commences,
Shifting gears quickly, Taj has set aside campaign brochures attacking McCotter as a career politician and has printed new ones warning that Roberts is a “fake Democrat.”
Taj’s literature is typical of attacks by Obama Democrats against Lyndon LaRouche supporters, Roberts said.
“The idea you have to take a loyalty oath to the president in order to be a candidate is ridiculous,” Roberts said. Obama, he said, “represents a clear and present danger to the nation.”
While McCotter’s retirement may increase Taj’s chances of becoming a U.S. representative, Taj said he must remain focused on winning the primary and explaining Roberts’ platform. But he worries that voters picking a Democrat in the race may be more drawn to a name like “William Roberts” over “Syed Taj.”
“I’m not naïve about that,” he said.

Syed Taj versus William Roberts  Dr. Syed Taj , a Canton Township trustee and former chief of medicine at Oakwood Hospital, put out a campaign email this week warning about his opponent, Bill Roberts of Redford Township. Titled, “Stop the Imposter!” Taj’s campaign calls Roberts a “fake Democrat” who wants to impeach President Barack Obama . It includes a picture of Roberts near a poster of the president with an Adolf Hitler moustache with the words “Impeach Obama.”
Roberts is a LaRouche Democrat, inspired by activist and former presidential candidate Lyndon LaRouche who’s called for Obama’s impeachment. Roberts didn’t return a phone call or email for comment Wednesday. But in a recent blog post on his campaign site, Roberts explains: “Given his many repeated violations of the Constitution, President Obama is probably over-qualified for impeachment and should therefore also be removed using section 4 of the 25th Ammendment (sic).”
The winner of the Democratic primary will face the GOP nominee in November , which for the first time in a decade may not be McCotter, given the challenges of a write-in a campaign. The possibility of picking up a once expected GOP seat has Democrats singing — literally. The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee released a “Ballad of Thad McCotter” Wednesday for the guitar-playing congressman. Some of the lyrics: “‘McCotter’s Mcfoul-up’ reads the News / A tough write-in campaign he could lose. / The cost profound; As fraud charges abound. / And Thad’s likely left singing the blues.”

Roll Call:  National Democrats dispatched a staffer to Michigan’s 11th district this week — a sign that they believe their candidate, internist Syed Taj, could be competitive in the race for GOP-leaning open seat.  (The Larouchies will just take this as a top down operation to bring down the Larouche Movement.)

Down With Tyranny.  The Democrat in this race is a progressive doctor, Syed Taj. There’s also a deranged LaRouchie running, Bill Roberts, who will be able to compete with Bentivolio for the kook vote.

The more notices like this the better.  From The Examiner
The Democratic hope for the district is Canton Township Trustee Syed Taj, a physician.  A progressive, Dr. Taj recently retired as chief of medicine at Oakwood Hospital in Dearborn.  He has been endorsed by Democratic Party organizations and elected officials throughout the district.  Taj faces primary opposition from Redford Township resident William Roberts, who is a follower of perennial presidential candidate, conspiracy theorist and all-around nutcase Lyndon LaRouche, and therefore is not considered to be a real Democrat.

The Detroit News opines:  a mainstream Democrat slated to face the young and bizarre Bill Roberts.

Because it is as this:  Lyndon LaRouche is still around?

We need to find the district’s Mark Quick quick in order to promote the Tea Party Ron Paul candidate and the Larouchie for … huh.

MASSACHUSETTS 4th — RACHEL BROWN DEFILES MEMORIAL DAY PARADE EN ROUTE TO BATTLE AGAINST KENNEDY DYNASTY

First off, Joseph Kennedy III gets on the ballot.  Doesn’t post youtube video of him bringing the paperwork in — oh well.  And we see there the attempt to sell the Kesha Rogers victory as meaningful thrust to Rachel Brown.  It’ll be a theme propped up in Michigan and Washington’s races.  (Someone tell me why I should pay attention to Dave Christie?)

The campaign is Getting some coverage.  Finally.
“It was completely disgusting,” said Tom Gaughan, an Army Reserve veteran who served in Iraq from 2003 to 2004 and marched as part of Monday’s parade. “For Rachel Brown to do what she did is completely disrespectful to anyone who has ever worn the uniform. The Memorial Day Parade is supposed to be something to honor the fallen soldiers as well as those who are still serving and who have served. I may not agree with Obama and what he’s done, but he’s still the commander-in-chief. Everyone in the military takes pride in serving. It just wasn’t the time for that.”
When Brown passed the bandstand platform in front of the Taunton Green, parade announcer and war veteran John Fielding, who otherwise provided lively introductions for participants, simply said, “No comment.”
Taunton Memorial Day Parade organizer Ernest Cardoza is a veteran himself and is a part of the Greater Taunton Allied Veterans Council, which sponsored the parade. Cardoza said “in retrospect” the sign should not have been allowed.
“I wouldn’t do it again,” Cardoza said. […] “Of the 100 things that might bother me, that’s number 192,” said Cardoza, who also pointed out that other political candidates have participated in the parade for years, and that there were several others marching in this year’s parade.
When reached by phone, Brown declined to answer whether or not the sign was appropriate for the parade, instead talking about her stance on Obama’s policies.

It was during the Silver City’s otherwise grand parade that the most recent sighting of the Rachel Brown campaign was made. […]
Some spectators and parade officials were not happy with the fact that Brown’s representatives chose to march in the parade and display a sign that, in part, read “Impeach Obama.” The mini-controversy, an unfortunate distraction from the real reason this parade and countless others like it were held last week, raises a fascinating question.
We know why parades occur on Memorial Day; to help us remember and honor those who lost their lives in the service of their country. However, the Rachel Brown incident forces us to consider the criteria used by those who organized Taunton’s parade lineup. It’s a simple question; who should be invited to march in local parades, particularly those with a serious and solemn purpose?
But ultimately, I come down on the side of those who say that politicians and candidates for office should be welcomed, but partisan political messages, regardless of ideology – left or right – are out of step with the purpose of the parade. Let them all march, each and every one, if they choose to. But leave the signs at home.
Rachel Brown had her 15 minutes of fame at that Dartmouth town meeting when she verbally tangled with Rep. Frank. You may recall that Frank famously scolded Brown, telling her, “Ma’am, trying to have a conversation with you would be like arguing with a dining room table.”
That line got a lot of press. But the more important message had been stated earlier in the exchange by Frank when, reacting to Rachel Brown’s comparison between President Obama and Adolph Hitler, he called it, “a tribute to the first amendment that this kind of vile, contemptible nonsense is so freely propagated.”

Commentary from the Peanut Gallery:  Perhaps it serves a purpose, after all…
Voters will recall Memorial day, and shun opportunists of all stripes.
‘LaRouche democrat’? What political marriage made in hell produced that abomination?

CALIFORNIA VOTES – A Summer Shields spotting

And here we getEverything was going as planned as I was marking my selections on the ballot until I got to the section for the US House of Representatives.  I supposed I could have voted for Nancy Pelosi and probably would have if there were no one more amusing to choose from, but there was one opponent named “Summer Shields” and I just couldn’t help myself.
I left the polls thinking, “Sorry Ms. Pelosi, but I had to go with the candidate most firmly committed to feminine hygiene.” What a clever boy I was and I couldn’t wait to brag about it online.
On the BART ride to work, I googled “Summer Shields” on my phone.  I was surprised to learn that he is male, which is no big deal, and also found out that he is a follower of Lyndon LaRouche.
Oh dear fucking God!  I actually voted for a LaRouche crazy.
Shields apparently chimes in with:  Thanks for your support!!!
Considering he reportedly quit the organization, dropped from the Larouche Slate list and all… Huh.
The campaign did get some coverage here.
Hey, did you know there are 25 people running for president on the California ballot, and that the full list of California candidates is 148 pages long? I sure as hell didn’t when I started writing this. I have at least scanned the whole thing and it seems to confirm my belief that it’s the presidency and the Senate that really brings them out of the woodwork. The unsurprising exception may be San Francisco, where “Summer Justice Shields” is running against Nancy Pelosi. Shields is listed as a Democrat but I see her campaign announcement was mentioned on LaRouchePAC.com. If she’s a Lyndon LaRouche supporter, then she’s a nut. (These days, LaRouche appears to be pushing something called “The Furtwängler Principle,” which I support wholeheartedly just based on the name. It also has the benefit of being totally incomprehensible.)
[…]  Personally, I’m reserving judgment until I know where all these people stand on The Furtwängler Principle. Or at least what it means.

 NON ELECTION NEWS

Big splinter going on with the Larouche Cryonics Movement.  NAWAPA won’t work!!! Nor will moving everyone to the Tropics won’t fight the Ice Age… We need something bigger!  The Larouche Basement team better get to work  and get the figures so refined as to the cubic yards of concrete it will take for this new project!  You don’t want to lose this supporter!

One of those cases:
A 60-year-old man apparently took exception to efforts by supporters of political activist Lyndon LaRouche to encourage the impeachment of President Barack Obama in Crestline last week, and shoved a table at petition circulators.
Twin Peaks Sheriff’s Capt. Rick Ells said the unidentified victims were not injured in the 3:27 p.m. incident in front of the Crestline Post Office. The perpetrator, described as a 60-year-old white male in a blue plaid shirt, was later identified but not arrested, Ells added.
Though details of the reported vandalism incident were sketchy
Prominent Larouche Internet Commenter “Macwhirr” sketches in some innuendo, to get this editorial response:
I have two comments – I have no personal knowledge of this incident and I am not a 60-year-old white male (nor do I own a blue plaid shirt).
It’s hard to figure out what Macwhirr is getting at here.  I suppose he theorizes that “The Media” is out against them, and is now going to “get a dose of its own medicine”,.,
Details extracted further, by the perpetrator of the deed .
Next time they pollute our town with this hate-mongering trash I’m not going to tip their table…even if it is an accident…I tripped as I was walking up to it…I’m going to call upon other citizens that feel we still are a great nation and surround these people so they can not collect money for LaRouche…who by the way served prison time for stealing credit card information…and in the spirit of Mahatma Gandhi, resist these outsiders with some passive resistance.

Another of those cases.  Dateline Hingham.
At 10:53 a.m. a caller reported a duck and ducklings on the side of the road near the Hingham Lobster Pound on Route 3A.  The caller feared that the ducks were in danger of getting hit by a vehicle and Animal Control was contacted.
At 2:30 p.m. CVS on South Street reported a group of people outside the store protesting against the Obama administration. After numerous calls, police said solicitors were within their rights.

And another one of those cases, Dateline Larchmont.  From my right leaning perspective, what fun watching lefty Larchmonters flip out of over the Impeach/Dump Obama signs.  Earlier in the day one man, in a fit of liberal rage, knocked over their table. Comments:  I love those guys…bought them lunch and gave them my card. They should come out more often

An Existential Question from France:  “Why do they tear my poster?”
Apparently the Larouchies want to Impeach Everyone Everywhere.  News from the Phillipine Society.

But that doesn’t mean that Occupy is the Black Bloc, or that all- or even most- communists are actually autocrats or free traders, or that most socialists are fascists, or that most Democrats are LaRouchies or in favor of charter schools..
At Wonkette  The fringe LaRouchies are all but gone. (Don’t tell that to Harris County Democrats in Texas)  The right, however, seems to have largely resisted any move to the middle and went whooping off into the sunset after the tattered remains of the KKK and the Nazi Party. Why they think the Tea Party.
Hot Air on Wisconsin Election Neither are certain extreme-fringe left-wingers, including advocates of violent political/social change, hard-line communists, terrorist-apologists, America-haters, kooks, crackpots, LaRouchies, and the like. Vote for Democrats.

No longer can discussion of ‘one world government’ or ‘EU=USSR lite’ be confined to the late night talk radio or Alex Jones fringe, or be pushed as just something the hated Ronulans or LaRouchies came up with during their cult meetings.

Historical notes.  Local Hero:  Ivy Bottini… Her efforts contributed to the defeat of Proposition 64, a measure put on the ballot by Lyndon H. LaRouche, which would have restored AIDS to the list of communicable disease.

He’d get better information from the LaRouchies and flat-earthers. Interesting comment.  Next one.   In fact I wont just expose NAMBLA, Like the response about “Next you’ll expose Crack Dealers?”  … then we get this but I’ll expose the entire homosexual population for what they are.   And so it goes.

Crunching the Numbers — the Rise of the Barack Obama / Kesha Rogers tag-team Democrats

Thursday, May 31st, 2012

Basically the only one, I paid some attention to the Congressional race pitting Delia Lopez and Ronald Green for an ultimately meaningless match-up against incumbent Earl Blumenauer — a man who can hold his seat for as long as he wants and will eventually be replaced by another Democrat.  (Maybe Dennis Kucinich can seek his comeback here?)  I thought it was something of an upset when Ronald Green beat Delia Lopez.    Because I could spot Lopez with a certain amount of supporters and backers.  A local conservative radio host.  Some Ron Paul supporters boosted her on the Internet.  And she had won the Republican race twice before.  For that matter, much to her expressed astonishment, the Larouche Movement gave her a plug in 2010 — though I could never find the supposed support of Glass Steagall anywhere that helped lead to the mention.  (‘Can’t hold the Larouche endorsement against her, and besides which there’s plenty to do — she is nutty.)

The election results I found interesting.  What set Ronald Green apart from Delia Lopez?  The Oregonian gave a tepid endorsement to Green on the basis of “He actually lives here”; the Willamette Week gave a tepid endorsement to Lopez with a shrug.  Maybe Green’s platform is just more attractive to the registered Republicans here — Lopez is nutty; Green just comes across as (somewhat refreshingly, I might say) eccentric with respect to how the two parties are drawn.  And maybe a bit of Delia Lopez fatigue has set in — two runs are enough for her.

Enter the fighting Texas 22nd District.  The stronghold for Incumbent Pete Olson.  Some relevant election results.  Start with the statewide total for Democratic Presidential Primary.

Barack Obama 88.21 percent
John Wolfe 5.05 percent
Darcy G Richardson 4.29 percent
Bob Ely 2.43 percent

John Wolfe, you will remember, as the man who won a whole slew of counties in West Virginia Arkansas.  If a voter felt that it was absolutely paramount that the survival of the species required Obama’s hasty removal, he would be a good candidate to cast your ballot toward.

Another interesting race result is who is now pushed forward to the next primary in the Democratic Senate race.

Paul Sadler 34.35 percent
Grady Yarbrough 26.46 percent

The results do not argue well for the Democrats having a chance of winning in November — in a Republican state in a Presidential election year, the putative favorite comes forward at just over a third of the vote.  And who is this at number 2?  From what I can tell, a man on the ballot who ran little campaign who came through off of the name of the Great Texas Liberal Democratic Senator Ralph Yarborough.  He reports that he “bought some ads” in some black oriented media — there might be some identity politics voting going into his election total (that thumped him past a couple other slightly better known but not really candidates).

I wish I could find the results on a district wide vote tally at the Texas Secretary of State elections page.  But unfortunately they’re tallied by counties.  When I can find these results by district, I will add it to this page.

I am absolutely positive my math is “fuzzy” here, and for the sake of simplification I have made a giant assumption and thrown the “under-votes” into the same pattern of voting.

Brazoria County
Barack Obama …. 1,270 … 89.94% of early vote (1,270) 91.56% total (3,050)

Pete Sadler … 37.68 percent total — Grady Yarbrough 22.54% total

KP Geoge — 382, 49.29 percent early vote — (759) 42.54 percent total votes
Kesha Rogers 393, 50.7 percent early vote — (1,025) 57.45 percent total vote

I suppose we can assume that the 9.46 percent of dissenters from Obama cast their lot with Kesha Rogers, which would leave us with 48 percent of the vote casting a ballot for both Obama and Kesha Rogers.  The chance that a Kesha Rogers voter cast their ballot for Obama stands at 85.5 percent.

Harris County

Barack Obama — 32,380 early votes 94.94 percent  — 67,978 total votes 95.26 percent

Paul Sadler –17,436 total votes  28.43 percent — Grady Yarbrough — 18,327 total votes; 29.88 percent

KP George 237 early votes 43.16 percent  — 516 total votes, 38.27 percent
Kesha Rogers 312 early votes 56.83 percent — 836 total votes, 61.76 percent

Giving Kesha Rogers the 4.74 percent of the anti-Obama vote, the chance that a Kesha Rogers voter cast their ballot for Obama would be roughly 93.2 percent.

FORT BEND

Barack Obama 4,054 early votes — 96.98 percent ; 9,617 total votes (97.42 percent)

Paul Sadler 28.97 — Grady Yarbrough — 32.92

KP George — 1,152 early votes, 61.50 percent — 2,278 total votes — 55.83 percent
Kesha Rogers 721 early votes, 38.49 percent — 1,802 total votes — 44.16  percent

Giving Kesha Rogers the 2.58 percent of the anti-Obama votes, the chances that a Kesha Rogers voter cast their ballot for Obama is 94.15.

Galveston

Barack Obama … 2,474 early 91.62 — 4,948 total, 92.21

Paul Sadler — 22.06 percent; Grady Yarbrough — 44.61

This one I’m screwed with.  The map shows a part of Galveston a part of the district, but there are no results under this category.

I see a few things to take away from these results.  You can make of them what you will.

STORY NUMBER ONE:  SIDNEY HILL RETURNS IN WASILLA!!!!

A Sidney Hill update???  Remember Sidney Hill?  A cause celebre somewhere, but not in the Larouche publications.

Bill Hess brings us some Fantastic Photo-journalism updating us on the whereabouts of Sidney Hill.  Up in Wasilla.  (One of those places that one day nobody ever heard of, then the next… everyone knew of.)

I was very pleased to see that this old hippy had seen the sign and then positioned himself right beside it so he could defy it. He even had a pretty good sign of his own made up, asking Alaska passersby to feed him a peach. If you could see all the lettering, this is what you would read:
“This old hippie says AK feed me a peach.” A bit more follows of course, but that was the basic message. This guy wanted a peach. I don’t know why he wanted a peach and not a chunk of moose meat or salmon, but a peach was what he wanted.
I would have given him a peach, too, but I didn’t have one. I did have a bean burrito, but he didn’t want a burrito – only a peach.
He claimed to be a friend of Lyndon LaRouche, who apparently backs up the quest of old hippies to be fed by the great AK! It is nice to know there are still compassionate people in this country, state and town.

Eventually we’re going to have to expand that networked map (showing the candidates) to include Sidney Hill in Alaska and Perry Clarke in Kentucky.
By the way… for what it is worth… the Skull / Bones blog would like to take this opportunity to endorse Republican Chris Theineman for Kentucky State Senate, District 37.  Yeah, I know… this is John Wolfe country.

STORY NUMBER TWO:  KESHA ROGERS GETS HER ASS WHUPPED

I suppose if she wins we will have a big “Dewey Defeats Truman” situation with this headline.  I will update this when election returns come in.

Daily Kos assesses the big KP George — Kesha Rogers race
Even though the Democrats have next to no chance of beating Olson, the Democratic primary here is actually worth watching.  Kesha Rogers, a Lyndon LaRouche activist who calls for impeaching President Obama, was the Democratic nominee in 2010 and caused a big headache for local Dems.  Rogers is running again and local Democrats would like to avoid the embarrassment of sharing a ticket with her this year: her sole opponent is KP George.  George’s nomination wouldn’t give the party any more of a chance to unseat Olson, but it would be a huge relief for Texas Democrats if he was their nominee here instead of Rogers.
Yet the race only gets one star.  If only Pete Olson had had lost sight of getting candidacy paperwork in in the vein of Thad McCotter, the Dems coulda been contenders.
I sort of reiterate, win or less… the Democratic Party in Harris County will still have her to kick around some.

Howie G booted off Democratic Underground, I see, in relation to proseltyzing for the cause of the 6 Larouche candidates.

College Football Fans weigh in on this race:
Larouchies come in all colors. And they’re all nuts.
Screw congress, she’s got my vote for President!
“This is Henry Kissinger. He’s a Jew.” Followed by explanations that the Jews and Queen Elizabeth are running drugs to corrupt America’s youth, blah, blah, blah. (Lyndon LaRouche, 1984.)

STORY NUMBER THREE:  DIANE SARE LIES — CLAIMS REFORM PARTY ENDORSED HER, WHEN REALLY IT WAS JUST A LAROUCHIE WHO ENDORSED HERE

We begin with details from the New Jersey Debate.  Where Diane Sare wasn’t asked about recent comments made by her leader.  They never ask about the imminent themonuclear war, and always go to Gay Marriage… Lament Lament Lament.

Better yet, she ought be asked about this quotation.  Maybe that’ll filter into the Taj — Roberts debates?

LaRouche Democratic supporters made up at least half of the more than 100 attendees of the debate in Teaneck, based on the blue LaRouche shirts they were wearing.
Many of the questions supplied by the audience seemed to be geared toward their ideals.
LaRouche Democrats support Mars colonization, the impeachment of Barack Obama, the reinstatement of the Depression-era Glass-Steagall Act and place emphasis on the importance of classical music.
When a question from the audience about classical music came, Gussen wouldn’t take the bait.
“I think if (Albert) Einstein lived today he may just have likely been a DJ,” he said.
Even during direct questioning, Sare often went off topic. When asked about gay marriage, she instead put emphasis on ballistic missile defense systems in Europe.
“If we have thermo-nuclear war and a financial blowout,” she said, “we will all be dead whether we are gay, straight, married or not.”

Well, if this guy is a “Tea Party Patriot” he probably isn’t a registered Democrat, so we won’t have to worry about this guy’s vote.

And we have an answer to the question “Is Mark Quick a Larouchie?”  The answer: Yes.
From this blog here, Mark Quick says:  I believe before you publish statements like this you should actually research your facts before publishing. Nobody manages my campaigns but me. Your clearly out just to destroy people on a personal level. I took a boat load of crap because I went to Trenton to be involved with YOU. I have learned more about how corrupt and evil our government has become and people like you are paid to hide the TREASON. On LaRouche explain why Ronald Reagon and him were friends he worked for Reagon???
If asked before I saw that comment I would have said “No”.  But … there you go.

A Reform Activist chimes in
Mark D. Quick, a former Republican Committeeman who abandoned the GOP last year, does not speak on behalf of the Reform Party of New Jersey, the Reform Party of the United States, nor any of the elected officers of either organization. He is no longer a candidate on the party’s ticket nor will the party sanction any of his forthcoming announcements. Quick’s alliance with Sare has been officially rebuked by the party’s leadership and any online content pertaining to his previous Congressional bid hosted on Reform Party servers will be removed.

The Diane Sare campaign has chimed in by charging against the   NJ Reform Party co-founder, in a wildly slanderous attack on me and Lyndon LaRouche, which was no doubt dictated to him by the same people running the pathetically desperate attacks on my colleague Kesha Rogers, who won the Democratic Party nomination in the 22nd district of Texas in 2010.
Everyone who has had a chance to consider the issue knows that Mark Quick exhibits more intelligence and morality in two sentences than the pompous and ignorant Mr. Zychick and his ghost writer can muster in any series of pretentious paragraphs. No one should be fooled by these arrogant young liars whose only dream is to become corrupt party hacks in their later years.

The more interesting thing here is the headline change from something about the NJ Reform party endorsing her to  NJ Reform Party: Holding the Line for Obama Dictatorship…

“Conservative New Jersey” blog ids names behind the Mark Quick run.  They can sort it all out.  The issue at stake in New Jersey

Yesterday, Mark Quick endorsed Democrat Diane Sare for Congress. Democrat Sare is running against Congressman Scott Garrett, the most conservative member of the New Jersey delegation, and one of the top conservatives in Congress. By most measures, Scott Garrett is the most conservative member of Congress ever to come from New Jersey. […]
First we had the Bayshore Tea Party Group providing a platform for a Socialist Party candidate at a meeting in their headquarters. Now we have a Tea Party candidate – vetted and supported by a number of Tea Party groups – endorsing a follower of Lyndon LaRouche.
The Tea Party needs to end its war with Steve Lonegan, Mike Doherty, and the other conservative leaders in our state. They need to stop embracing pro-amnesty candidates like Bader Qarmout, liberals like LaRossa, bigots like Salanitri, racists like Hoyas, and Lyndon LaRouche Democrats.

A bottom line on this race provided by Blue Jersey
Correct me if I’m wrong, but is there a third candidate running in CD 5 by the name of Diane Sare? I saw her presence in the newspaper at two debates held by Bergen Grassroots and the Teaneck Democrats and was wondering if she is still running for the nomination since she was not mentioned in your story.
In many races there are numerous candidates, but in this diary I mention only those of consequence.
She wants to be on the same ballot with Obama – who she wants to impeach.  Diane Sare is NOT a credible candidate.  She may seem polite, but her positions are LaRouche crazy.

Worth mentioning her regardless, if only because the die is set with a race between what’s apparently a “lackidasical Democratic Establishmentarian” and an exciting Insurgent.  GOTV all you want for the Insurgent.  Just be sure not to  divide the two candidates to two sets of 33 and ending up losing to random 34-er.
No one has any money to do polling. If history is a good indicator, 15,000 voters will turn out on June 5th.

STORY NUMBER FOUR:  THAD McCOTTER OPENS THE WAY FOR SMASHING LAROUCHIE REPRESENTATION IN NEXT CONGRESS

The circumstances are such that the way is, I suppose, open.  The Democratic Party establishment may want to push some bigger name Democratic… for a (sigh) write-in bid.  McCotter may want to try the same.  Hilarity ensues, I guess.
Hm.  I assume unless the Democratic hiearchy has some big name power candidacy everyone knows and loves that their best chance is with the candidate actually running.

From Daily Kos  …  Fortunately, Democrats have a pretty respectable candidate filed for this race already in Syed Taj, a Canton Township trustee and former chief of medicine of a local hospital. Taj has raised $200K for his campaign so far, and I’m sure more resources will be made available to him now that McCotter has put himself in the jackpot. (Oh, and there’s another “choice” in the Democratic primary: Lyndon LaRouche disciple Bill Roberts, a man whose top item on his website reads “Dumping Obama is the Key to Avoiding War”.)

I will  note I haven’t been so much sleeping on this Democratic primary as putting it aside because whatever the case, the situation is thus — skip to bold part of the comments excerpts here — featuring the standard sillying sallying of the quirks of a country with more elections taking place than attention paid to them:

I could easily see the LaRouchie winning the Dem primary if the race is a low name-ID race between him and Syed Taj. So they’d have to invest a lot of effort to get Taj through the primary.
In the case of McCotter failing to get in the primary, failing to win the primary, and the LaRouchie winning the Dem primary, an opportunity would be wasted.
What’s with the “um”? FYI Roberts has raised $4K, Taj $200K.
But it’s not going to be a slam dunk unless they spend some money. Taj’s campaign doesn’t just have a ‘some cult dude’ opponent, it’s an opponent with a generic common name. So he can’t just lay back and keep raising money, he will have to act as if the primary is real without really acknowledging the opponent. (Not entirely sure they can directly mention the obvious about the LaRouchies and Obama through mailers without people ignoring it, plus it’s not like Michigan has party registration to make that easier)
and the law of diminishing returns may factor into the effectiveness of the “Hey, Bill Roberts is associated with a bunch of crazies” campaign. Although i’d imagine “Syed Taj, great guy, shakes his finger at property taxes, rode an ostrich once” campaign would be far more likely. Especially for reaching out to all those unfamiliar with the Canton Charter Township government.
Not sure if we’ve had a ‘credible candidate loses to random person’ race yet in this cycle. Closest would be the Jimmy Ferris primary in Idaho, i’d guess.
I have nothing whatever against Taj and surely hope he wins but I have to admit my joy at learning another set of lunatics is still around in our hare-brained politics today.
We’d have until August.  I think we can make sure he wins the primary.
So yeah.  You could wage a whisper campaign against him. More of an issue might be he speaks heavily accented and not all that dynamic of a speaker.   But maybe he’s better when the subject matter isn’t mindnumbingly boring.
so it’s a coincidence that they could lose two one-on-one primaries to Indian-born candidates (who are obviously agents of the Queen and Kissinger and Nelson Rockefeller)
MI-11 Democrats may do the same thing IN-05 Democrats did in 2010 and pick Roberts over Taj, simply because his name sounds “white”
Don’t think it can’t happen?  It DID happen in Indiana just two years ago.

From the other side of the asile we get this:
If McCotter is off the ballot, Bentivolio probably has a 70% chance to win against McCotter or Kowall write-in, and 85% chance to win against Trott write in, because only insiders and some locals know who Trott is. […] Parties need to save the resources in case Bentivolio does win the primary, which is likely (Assuming McCotter is off the ballot), and help out the guy who may for all we know be the deciding vote for the speaker and committee chairs.
Unless they want Bill Roberts.

This is, by the way, the scenario that would have to sprout up to actually get a Larouchie into the House of Representatives.

The Democratic candidate, for those who care, are:
Bill Roberts, who proudly touts his connection to Lyndon Larouche and the tin-foil-hat caucus.
Syed Taj, a medical doctor and native of India, who was elected to the Canton Twp board in 2008.  Not a hopeless, but also maybe not exactly what Waterford Twp is looking for in a Congressional candidate.
Ya gots until August.

STORY NUMBER FIVE:  LAROUCHE CRYONICS MOVEMENT CHIMES IN TO LATEST ALEX JONES APPEARANCE

The Larouche Cryonics Movement throws its lot lot against Alex Jones with ultimate insult Aex Jones is a Neanderthal Hybrid Crypto-Jew.

Then we get comments from the peanut gallery at Lunatic Outpost
Larouche is a just a flat out crackpot.   He’s makes guys David Icke and Clif High look normal.
The ultimate power behind the royal bloodlines are extra dimensional reptillian entities who literally hate humanity. What the Christians would call demons. Our royal elite have fallen for their lies of using alien technology to empower the elite with Godlike powers.
The only thing stopping the alien entities manifesting is the human vibration on the planet this love energy drives them insane with rage, a state of mind they can’t function rationally in.
Once the blue bloods do their bidding and reduce the love energy by reducing the population the cold authoritarian vibration will allow them to manifest with frightening consequences for our elite!
Why can’t we just have a Nuclear War, why’s it always got to be Thermal Nuclear War? WHY???
Oh wow! A guy with no credibility interviews another guy with no credibility!

No.  Wait.  Maybe we need a conflab between these two groups:

I would appear to not be the only person who is moving well, et cetera. The Freemason Confraternity of the Whole Wide World also seem to be offering a better deal than the LaRouche people.
(Yes, the local LaRouchies continue to e-mail me periodically, unconcerned by their continuing terrible prophetic record, and not inclined to admit any errors.)

Vern Nelson asks the question:  Hey Robert [Lauten], I know you’re a LaRouchie, but I see you on my ballot, under US Senator, as a Republican. Have all the LaRouchies become Republicans when nobody was looking?

Other campaigns:

Dateline Chicago
We drove by there today and saw them. Their sign indicated they wanted to impeach the President and that they were affiliated with the LaRouchies. I didn’t see them doing anything that might need a permit IMO.

Dateline Farmington
When asked why the two selected Farmington for their political efforts, the man said because of “the population.” The woman told one of the several people who stopped by her table at approximately 1 p.m. her group was trying to fix this country because “the whole system is dead. It’s broken.” […]
Willy asked them to leave while the man argued with police for several minutes, stating loudly, “We do this all over the place!”
Willy reported later the group did not leave the premises and rather resolved to hold their posters themselves. He said they eventually put the table away.
“Their(sic) well within their rights to exercise their First Amendment right to free speech, but you can’t do it by blocking the sidewalk,” Willy said, noting […]
Official representative for the LaRouche PAC Angela Vullo, who returned a reporter’s call from Virginia, said she could not confirm her organization was visiting Farmington on Tuesday, but said the described posters “sounds like us.” […]
“The policies that have come out … to get the world population under 1.5 billion, that is virtually targeting everyone,” Vullo said. “Not to mention, if Obama stays in office, we’re on the road to a world war that could be a nuclear war, and that could lead to the extinction of the human race.”

Countdown: 7 Days til Kesha Rogers experiences an Electoral @&& WHUPPING!

Tuesday, May 22nd, 2012

One Week Left and all will be decided.  THE MOST IMPORTANT ELECTION OF THE 2012 CYCLE!!!!

We stand at Armageddon, and we battle for the Lord.” — Theodore Roosevelt, 1912.
“I am issuing this statement to tell you something you need to know if you wish to survive. What I am going to say here requires that all notions of practical politics be set aside and that you reach down inside and fight with everything which is truly human inside you to remove Obama from office now. This may be your last chance. We are now standing toe to toe with the threat of thermonuclear war and the potential annihilation of the human species.” — Kesha Rogers, 2012.

No.  I’m mostly just bemused by the Kesha Rogers campaign now.  She’s not going to win the nomination, and now we just see this spectacle of things.  I hope the party hacks in Harris County are enjoying themselves right now — I have half a hunch the Larouchie challenger may be beneficial: the party knows they’re in the minority and trying to guide to a hopeful future election victory — you need something to sharpen your elbows and keep yourself going, I suppose.
In addition to some insane rhetorical fire from Kesha Rogers, we have that standard stand-by of paraochial campaigning — those sign wars.:

Running against Kesha Rogers.  Local Democrats have a little contest running to see which one of us gets the most insulting description written by Kesha on her website.  She called Bubba a “Yokel,” which is funny for man with more degrees than your average meat thermometer.  She called our local party chairman Steve Brown a lackey and stated, “[he] has repeatedly tried to incite violence against me.”  She offers no proof of this and has made no police report.  In short, her brainwashing included lying as a sacrament to LaRouche.
Steve did help put out these signs next to her signs all over town:
Hehehe. But it really ain’t funny. One day I was at an event and talked to a Larouche supporter. I asked if she really likes Larouche and she said yes and I said “I’m so sorry.”
Why is that conspiracy nuts always mash together groups that can’t stand each other? And does she know that Hitler, HG Wells and Voltaire have been dead for quite a long while (as are John and George, alas)?
(Yeah.  Well.  I think the theory of this “push poll” is what Kesha Rogers is referencing as a “dirty trick”.):
A push poll might be fun. “Kesha Rogers believes crazy crazy loony Tea Party stuff, would that make you more likely or less likely to vote for her? K P George performs life-saving procedures on rescue puppies, would that make you more or less likely to vote for him?”

Ballot Access News has the story.    And I see there has been some sort of accommodation with “Third Party Politics”  for sourcing.
In other news, the story has made its way to splog aggregators, where it’s hitched with gossip about the “Kesha” character for the tv show “Basketball Wives”.  So we get the hilarious comment “Feel sorry for Kesha.  Gonna get her ass whupped“, but it’s … to a completelyunrelated subject.  I love this race!

So the sign wars commence.
And on that race, I was very disappointed today to see that something I spotted yesterday afternoon has been undone today when I had my camera ready to capture the moment. Apparently some Republican joker decided to support Kesha Rogers’ campaign by planting one of her lawn signs in his front yard, right next to a Mike Elliott for Judge sign.
It seems the Republicans have glommed onto the movement in the Fort Bend County Democratic Party to get the word out on bat-guano crazy Kesha Rogers so we don’t have an embarrassing repeat of 2010 when she won the Democratic nomination to oppose Pete Olson for the CD-22 race. Someone in the GOP decided it would be funny to promote her race.
Kesha Rogers has had Republican supporters, only now it seems they have reconsidered their position and took the Rogers sign down.

Burnt Orange readers polled, and come up with
In another lopsided victory, KP George trounced LaRouchie Ke$ha Rogers in our reader poll, again by a margin of 90% to 10%. While the district is likely to remain a Republican seat come November, George is doing the yeoman’s work to oust the LaRouchie from the Democratic ticket.
Wait.  The Larouchies didn’t flood this internet poll?  Why not? It’s a proud tradition used by Free Republic and Democratic Underground! Anyway, this leads leads in to the official Endorsement at Burnt Orange.  The sales pitch at Burnt Orange
Don’t make the same mistake twice! George is a good Democrat, a credible candidate, and won’t foul the waters for the other Democrats in Fort Bend county — a county that is rapidly trending blue and should be focused on mobilizing voters, not handling an unruly LaRouchie that soils the party brand.

Bay Area Houston:
I’m sure everyone remembers “dog piling” on someone in grade school. It usually ended with someone crying to the teacher or followed by an atomic wedgie of mega proportions. Luckily most of us have grown out of that phase of life and have resorted to virtual dog piling with LaRoucherette Kesha Rogers being the target. So, I am compelled to dog pile.
Kesha Rogers is a bonafide political nut (much like Elaine Palmer). If she was from Brazil, she would put Brazian nuts to shame. Rogers is running for Congress as a Democrat when she should be steaming as a Teabag or Nutbag. Kesha is running on colonizing Mars and establishing intergalactic trade routes between the Moon, Earth, and Uranus. [insert Beavis and Butthead laugh here] The trade routes is not a joke. She truly believes that. She also believes everyone is a Nazi, especially the people she can draw a Nazi mustache on.
Rogers and her band of mobile, merry, misguided, mofo, misfits (seen here flagging cars down)  will be providing entertainment at the State Convention this year including banding together to sing (and be escorted outside). Delegates have been warned not to listen to them for fear they will be lured into their web of brainwashing like mermaids signing to drunken sailors, then ripping off their heads.
Lucky for us in Clear Lake we do not have to put up with this fruit cake, but folks in Sugar Land do and are dog piling on Rogers! See Juanita for more.

Yep.  See Juanita for more.
Little Bubba went up to vote last Friday and saw that Kesha and her Band of Bozos had placed her poll signs in an odd position.  She moved her signs to place them directly in front our our signs […].
Bubba asked me to document him moving her signs and placing them all 1/4 inch apart in a neat little line because obviously she likes signs that way.  He was just being helpful.
He truly enjoys that he’s getting under her skin, thin as it may be.  A man has to take his pleasures where he can find them and Bubba truly enjoyed hacking off Kesha.

I didn’t know that Lyndon LaRouche was still alive. Are you sure? Has this been verified by the absence of a long-form death certificate?
Took my wife and 88 year old mother in law to vote against Keesha today. No excuse for not voting.

From Dem Underground:  I didn’t know about that blog so thank you – now I’ve got it bookmarked. Kesha needs a new hobby.

Kesha Rogers upset by the “NotaDem” signs.  Rolls to twitter.

Make sure you vote in the DEMOCRATIC PARTY PRIMARY to revive the FDR-JFK tradition
–Note to Kesha Rogers:   Lyndon Larouche despises Franklin Roosevelt and John Kennedy.  Or is Lyndon Larouche just playing a version of this standard political game — and in a few decades the Larouche Movement will be praising the Genius of Barack Obama?

THE OTHER STUFF

Conspiracy claims to disclaim embarrassing Ron Paul-ite ally.
A page or two back I noticed a comment about Lindon LaRouche…LaRouche is a communist. Operatives from his PAC have been infiltrating TEA Party events, websites and groups doing what they can to disrupt the memberships. It is his people that show up at TEA Party events with their so-called signs and dressed up in an effort to bring as much dis-credit as possible to our side.
They also do everything they can to disrupt the remaining sensible blue dog Democrats as well….Back to Kokesh; Adam Kokesh is paid by Russia TV for his commentary, he was reported to the FEC and FCC for using his RTv program to raise campaign money for Ron Paul as well. If anyone thinks communism went away with the Berlin Wall, you’d be really far from it. Old hardline communists are still alive and kicking, they’ve “learned” to accept capitalism and have much invested in seeing the United States of America go down. It is a cold hard fact everybody needs to face and take head on. They are still here, they are for real and they want us to fail and Kokesh is simply another “useful tool” for them to use.
I tend to think of it as pay back for the USSR getting their butts handed to them by Bin Laden and muhjadeem in Afghanistan back in 1989. Another factor in all this is Putin, too. Former KGB or not, the boy isn’t anywhere close to being the saint he likes to portray himself to be in media…
f LaRouche is in fact a commy – why has the party of treason worked so hard to discredit and or blacklist him and his proposals—– their disinformation has been repeated so many times that people actually want to believe that misinformation. Do not confuse what I am stating vs whom I support – Ron Paul, & LaRouche both have viable proposals to restore our beloved Republic. Please do yourself a huge favor go to LaRouches’ website and study his proposals, IF you still believe that his proposals are commy then; ok; you might be right. I have been studying many of his proposals for years – I have never been able to “detect” commy leanings in his proposals, the one thing I see that I actually oppose is the “big” government approach to the operation of most proposals.

Memo to North Carolina and Republicans:  Walter Jones appears on this show.

Lunatic Outpost laments:    UHM – SPEAK ON THE CITY OF LONDON AND YOU’LL BE LABELED A LAROUCHE FOLLOWER
Probably uninteresting as Heck…. has been given direct access to the Constitutional Court regarding the devious activities of the ba-ks. Hallalooya! Lyndon LaRouche lives! Where do I sign?

Dateline from the Past:
Those LaRouche followers are even more cultist than Paul supporters. I somehow got on a mailing list of theirs back during the lead up to the Iraq War (I attended a lot of anti-war rallies) and they would not stop calling me no matter what I said or did. I continued to receive phone calls for years. It finally stopped when, in 2007 or so, I changed my number. Every week, for essentially almost five years, I received a call from his supporters.
I’ve seen them everywhere. They set up in front of the Post Office in Wakefield often. People basically just ignore them now.
My boyfriend gives them hell everytime he sees them there. The police were close by once and told not to cause a disturbance, but even they get a kick out of what he was saying!
I work in Foxboro, MA. I stepped out to get a drink and drove past the local CVS. On the sidewalk outside was a table with paperwork of some kind surrounded by posters saying things like “get rid of Obama” and the old tired Obama with a hitler mustache one. It was really teabagger, birther type crap.
Coming up — the 1976 Presidential Election retro-vote, and

I can’t wait to see which 2 or 3 people vote for LaRouche next week. I have some predictions that I’ll keep to myself.
IRC LaRouche fell just below the cutoff and will not be on the ballot, although ’76 will still have the most candidates of any retrospective election.
Ah yes, you are correct. Wikipedia rounds him up to .05%, but doing the math puts him at just .0491%.
He’ll be on the ballot in 1984 though.
Two more weeks, so start your Campaigning NOW!
Dateline Seattle:

I thought the LaRouche movement was long gone, like Hitler.
Nope, like I posted, they were out in the last years of Bush. And, at least over in Seattle during the weekends Seattle maritime festival.

Dateline West Roxbury
A concerned West Roxbury resident called West Roxbury Patch in regards to “a couple of morons who have set up a table in front of Bank of America with a big poster of Obama with a Hitler mustache.” […]
They’re going after people who are going into the Bank of America parking lot and trying to get people going into the bank… They’re waving and smiling trying to get people to talk to them and handing out pamphlets.” […]
A third anonymous resident sent in the attached photos of the individuals outside of Bank of America, adding, “Most people simply shaking their heads and walking by. The two men are spending most of their time just talking to each other.”

Dateline Manchester  Police responded to two complaints about political demonstrators taking over the parking lot on Beach Street on Tuesday.  Police received the complaints at 11:30 a.m. and 1:20 p.m.  When police arrived, they found the demonstrators, followers of Lyndon LaRouche, walking on the sidewalk. Police determined, however, they were not creating a disturbance.

Remembering the 1980 Presidential Election
I had some encounters with LaRouche followers back around 1980. I lived in New Hampshire, which had the first-in-the-nation presidential primary. During primary season I got lots of phone calls from people asking me to support their candidate. Almost all of these callers were very polite and friendly, even when I said I supported someone else.  There was one exception–the LaRouche supporters. They seemed to think that LaRouche was entitled to my vote, and I had no right to withhold it. They were very abusive.

Newt Gingrich Number One; Lyndon Larouche Number Two.
The second-largest campaign debt belongs to conspiracy theorist and perennial candidate Lyndon LaRouche, whose five political action committees have amassed debts of more than $3.2 million, including nearly 5,000 loans from individual donors to his 1984 campaign totaling over $1.7 million. Those loans are remnants of a practice for which LaRouche was convicted of fraud in 1988 when a jury found he had no intention of repaying them.
Gerald Pechenuk chimes in on the ranking
:
A couple of slight corrections are in order. First, you should report which political leader  in the US are “MOST INDEBTED TO,” NOT THE MOST IN DEBT.  The Hands Down Winner is who you list as number 2, Lyndon LaRouche.  He is the only political leader who warned people, starting in the late 1960’s , of the impending global financial collapse, which you all have to admit, despite your fancy sophistical tricks, has struck with a vengence.  So, ALL OF US ARE MOST IN DEBT TO Lyndon LaRouche for telling the truth which others refuse to face. to this very day!
As for larouche, the parable of the blind hog and the acorn comes to mind.
Note that giggling is probably considered a personal attack.
I predict that within the next 50 years, there will be another financial crisis. See I can do that too Lyndon and Gerald!
Warning about financial collapse since the 60’s is kind of like predicting a major earthquake in California every year.  Most years you look like and idiot and no one cares.  Then the big one DOES come and you look like a genius.  Lyndon LaRouche is the moonbat of all moonbats.
blind “hog”???  I’ve always used “squirrel” in that truism.
Look….  Substitute squirrel, or truffle for that matter.  But the parable is the same.
Look posted “Lyndon LaRouche is the moonbat of all moonbats.”  Wow, that’s saying a lot. There have been a LOT of moonbats, and as already noted – some still walk amongst us.

Occupy Moderators for metafilter metatalk:  “The truth is the mods are all secret LaRouchies, the bias in their moderation style becomes clear when you keep that in mind“.  (That explains all the problems?)

What’s a Protest in Maryland without…  The movement started slowly Friday morning, with just two representatives of the Larouche Political Action Committee standing in the town square, advocating that President Barack Obama be removed from office.  By noon, the ranks were growing, as members of Occupy movements had gathered in the Weis Markets parking lot to make signs and plan the rest of their day.  And who gets the photograph, you suppose?.

WHAT’s UP IN that Appalachian Belt That’s embarrassing Obama in the Primaries right now
Gore had been the presumptive Democratic nominee for months. He had no real competition. Then came the Arkansas primary, and — right the hell out of nowhere — Lyndon LaRouche got 22 percent of the vote. This, according to partly bylaws, gave him the right to Democratic delegates. But the party found a way to claw them back.
On the West Virginia election result

Judd is not the first felon to appear on West Virginia’s ballot. Lyndon LaRouche ran in the Democratic presidential primary four times in West Virginia, including 1992 when he was in prison for mail fraud and tax violations.
But nobody paid much attention to LaRouche in ’92 because he was one of nine Democratic candidates and received just 3,141 votes. His quixotic White House bid got lumped in with the rest of the fringe candidates.
getting traction to each of the nine politicos on the list.
Oh, just let the felon get his protest vote and have West Virginia get its fun, okay
?  Yeah, this case is thrown with Larouche election footnotes to add impetus to ballot access law changes.
Reason commenter comments on West Virginia result:  T|5.9.12 @ 11:18AM|#. I’ve been voting for lulz for years. That’s why I like it when LaRouchies are on the ballot.
More Reason Comments:  Lyndon Larouche is one of the few guys to be in the L. Ron Hubbard level of cult He’s been gone for a while, but a Larouche PAC was outside a post office (Damned if we can’t get the “Dead or Alive” game right here.)
Chris W., I don’t consider this an “inner-leftist” dispute, since Platypus for me are not leftists, anymore than LaRouchies are. Maybe you want to take them at face value, fine, but these are some unsavory characters. SD,. “Similar brick bats are The Limits of Spinozist Marxism

Updates from the Diane Sare Campaign:

The Reform Party candidate is jumping out.  Mark Quick endorses Diane Sare.  Entertaining to listen to, I suppose.  Ross Perot must be gnashing his teeth furiously right now at the news.

A message from the Reform Party of New Jersey:  The Reform Party of New Jersey would like to emphasize that we are in no way supportive of Larouche PAC or any organization that seeks to propagate racial, religious or classist tension into the American political system. We believe that candidates for public office must be held to the highest ethical standard and that civility must be returned to Washington DC; the recent endorsement of a far-right Democratic contender made by a former RPNJ candidate is NOT in any way reflective of the party’s official policy.
Yeah, that sucks when this is how your little political party edges into the news.

Diane Sare:  Themonuclear War or Second American Revolution.  Was not asked about this at the debate, apparently.  Damned.

Actually the question I’d ask Diane Sare in a debate, in similar step with a standard question asked to Democrats of “Biggest difference” between you and Obama — “What do you consider your biggest points of difference in opinion with Lyndon Larouche?”  Might be interesting.

A Warning Shot fired from Texas to New Jersey.
Heed it.  I’m not as concerned with Washington (but enjoy reading He’s already been thrown out of the 11th LD Democrats meeting for the impeachment crap.). I can say categorically that Kesha Rogers will not win her nomination.  I cannot say categorically that Diane Sare won’t.  There’s a better than even chance that she won’t, but…

Comments tell a story here:
Sare might be right about Glass Steagall, but she is right less often than a broken watch. As a Larouche Democrat, how can anyone take her seriously? Larouche is going to be on Allan Fineberg’s favorite boggie man’s show (Alex Jones) later on today. Its quite sad that our former congressman would have made a better candidate.

Also note the “above the fray” element here:  Diane Sare, the third candidate in the race that will decide who faces longtime Rep. Scott Garrett, provided he wins the Republican primary, called herself a “LaRouche Democrat” and kept out of their fray for the most part.

I sometimes think the Larouchies throw this one out for no other reason then that there has been sane and sensible advocating for Glass Steagall out there, but they need something insane from the past just to get rid of any potential ally and prove themsleve pure:  Sare said she would create jobs and drive the economy by breathing life into the North American Water and Power Alliance, which was debated in the 1950 and ’60s, but never built. It would have been a massive public works project to divert water throughout North America and generate electricity and drinking water reservoirs throughout the West.
And then there’s this.
All three candidates said they were pro-choice and supported marriage equality.

Yeah.  But some Exciting News from Larouche allies.  First the blast from the past, 1987 wise:

Schools were an obvious place for Lyndon LaRouche`s forces to spread panic. As early as the fall of 1985 they had vainly tried to stir things up in the Brighton neighborhood of Boston. More recently, in Granby, Conn., a small town just outside Hartford, Paul Cameron, a psychologist and ally of LaRouche`s, crusaded-also unsuccessfully-against allowing a child with AIDS in school…..

Now we get this from the political force behind previous Larouche efforts.  Fundamentalist Says Obama is Gay; Imprison Gays Before they Kill.  Hm.  But where does he stand on Glass Steagall?

In other Larouche candidate campaigns:  Summer Shields gets $35.
Dave Christie takes on Cass Sunstein.  Yes, tell me Mr. Cass Sunstein.  Where is your Hitler mustache?  This should beat Adam Smith in Washington’s Ninth!
Apparently selling it from and to a kooky “Prominent” Russian Historian.

Well, I see Larouche has made his Alex Jones appearance.  And gets onto Rapture sites.  (Which gives a chance to drop in some Appropriate, I suppose, Jim Bakker news.) Getting brushback from Ron Paul fans.  Maybe I’ll do the commentpalooza round-up… in the comments… sooner or later.  Sigh.  Offer me a good suggestion on what to listen to while I go through that task.
God I hate Prison Planet / Alex Jones.  Birther crap.  Sigh.
