My comment: Clearly , this is more British subversion intended to destabilize Russia. This is the value of reading Larouche. All other mainstream media are complicit in the destabilization by failing to report the essential features of what’s going on as Larouche does.

There’s a few things that are curious with this.  Recent larouchie deployments have shown a renewed focus on Hillary Clinton for President, with a suggestion of support for one of those wary Hillary Clinton primary campaigns against the Hitlerite tool of British interests, Barack Obama.

And Hillary Clinton has chimed in with a one of these things.

Sec. Clinton listed out a specific claim that election observers were thwarted in attempts to monitor the Russian elections. She argued that ‘independent Russian election observers, including the nationwide Golos network, were harassed and had cyber attacks on their websites, which is completely contrary to what should be the protected rights of people to observe elections, participate in them, and disseminate information.’ This is another allegation tossed at Putin’s ruling party.

Clinton concluded that the ‘Russian people, like people everywhere, deserve the right to have their voices heard and their votes counted. And that means they deserve fair, free, transparent elections and leaders who are accountable to them.’ This provoked a strong response from Putin and his allies.

Putin fired back that Clinton ‘set the tone for some of our public figures inside the country, sent a signal to them. They heard this signal and launched active work with the U.S. State Department’s support.’ Putin accused the United States of organizing and setting the stage for the large protests.

If there were any intellectual honesty in the cult, this would set up the biggest crisis in the Lyndon Larouche Movement since Summer Shields was unable to obtain ballot access in California, or since the failed prediction about 20 dollar bread loafs.  It appears that their love for Vladimir Putin outstrips their love for the Clintons — must be taken in by those shirtless photo ops he made —

and the Putin loving is curious in a way, since one of the larouchie deployments had a call out to an Obama supporter that she was just for Obama because she wants to have sex with him.  See too the Get Out the Vote ads that Vladimir Putin’s party ran on Russian tv.

We’ll just have to see how this story develops, and how they’ll rationalize  the inconsistencies of Hillary Clinton’s hawkisheness and concern for developments in Russia — “Was It Hillary’s Error?” lest it embarrass Jeffrey Steinberg’s “Desperately Seeking Hillary“, and make themselves available to Russia Today, and to PUMA outlets.

Odd thing about Russia Today — Larouche was cut off on his second appearance, when even they couldn’t stand for his insanity.  He did get a third appearance on, but I suppose it’s better now to swirl down the list of EIR.

Officers said they had been sent to the site by dispatch and did not know who made the call. They said it did not come from Dunkin’ Donuts, but employees they spoke to said the owner was probably not going to be happy about the display.

The two men gave their names to the officer when he asked, but would not give them to Patch and would not be interviewed. Any more information, they said, would have to come from LaRouche Pac.

The two did say they had not asked permission from the Dunkin’ Donuts owner to be in front of store, and the police told them the display did not violate any ordinance. On the Absurdity of a Donald Trump hosted Newsmax sponsored Republican Debate:  It looks like Ory Taitz and the woman that Barney Frank compared to his dining room table are going to be on the panel asking the “Tough” questions.

Interesting to note the drawback to the Rachel Brown Campaign.  There is less likely a chance of appearing on a Public Access aired debate against the two or three “legitimate” primary challengers.  I suppose we’ll see if she can sneak that 20 percent anti Frank vote of 2010 into a Kesha Rogers victory, and make next year’s “Larouchie of the Year” list…

III.  THE PO TOUR

Dateline… Look it Up Later… Libertarian-Ville/  As it turns out, they are followers of Lyndon LaRouche whose beliefs I can’t seem to place anywhere on a political spectrum. According to the Wiki article, the views are applauded by communists, socialists, totalitarians, and fascists alike.
I asked how this effort was being funded and how do they plan on enacting laws and regulations and the answer was that people would just do this. It reminded me of Star Trek and other socialist programming but it had very fascist overtones. Mark then gave up, exasperated by my inquisitiveness and desire for answers. Having failed at proving his beliefs he resorted to ad homonym attacks calling me closed minded and brain washed. He walked off and under his breath said that he needed to find other people to get things done with.
It is obvious to me now, having read up on what these LaRouche guys believe, that they are truly lost. Mark had announced he had read Mises’ book Liberalism proudly beating his chest with his self congratulatory intellectual prowess. Perhaps he did in fact read the entire volume. Obviously, he had not understood it.

Dateline Ewing, New Jersey  Only in the land of the free could there be political posters ridiculing President Barack Obama in a Hitleresque mustache, or wearing a derby and “Dancing to Wall Street’s Tune” as half of the famous “Laurel and Hardy 2011” team.

I wouldn’t have thought so, if I hadn’t talked to one of the members of his cult today down by Sproul on the Berkeley campus. As weird as it sounds, I’m kind of intrigued by how odd the whole movement is. So as soon as I post this, I’m sending a link to the appropriate email addresses on the site, and I’m going to ask for real evidence to back up the claim that the “British” are behind a plot to end the world. Because I can’t really see a motive, can you?

V.  Who’s being insulted as Larouchian this week?

The very fact that they have the free speech right to display these atrocious signs belies their message.
My usual procedure when dealing with LaRouche representatives is to take their literature, peruse it briefly, ask for a second copy, and tear them up. Then, smiling, I ask for another. Sometimes they actually give me one!

Occupy Seattle:  So, what do Rob McKenna and Lyndon LaRouche supporters have in common? Apparently, neither will talk with me. At least, that’s what I found out yesterday when attempting to start an open and honest dialogue with the crazy-fucking LaRouchians parasitizing yesterday’s Occupy Seattle protest at Westlake Park.
I had a long conversation with one about the PANIC initiative and he admitted that their view of gay people is pretty similar to the street preachers’, except their view is based on “science” not religion. He said HIV/AIDS quarantines are a good idea because gays are extremely promiscuous and said regulating private sexual conduct is a moral good according to LaRouche.

Comparisons of media coverage between the Occupy movement and the tea party are interesting. For two years, the tea party has been called racist haters because demonstrators showed up with signs like those portraying Obama as Hitler. Protests that these were outside agitators with their own agenda were dismissed.
Now, the same LaRouche people with the same signs attend Occupy rallies, but careful exculpation is made that they are NOT part of Occupy, but are outside agitators with their own agenda.

Occupy Montreal:  We translated the text ourselves, and it’s good. Otherwise, there was a very small visible anarchist presence, mostly in the form of backpatches, a few black flags or black-and-red flags, and a few banners. This must be contrasted to the Maoists of the Parti communiste révolutionnaire, the Zeitgeist Movement, the Lyndon Larouche cult, various ragtag bands of Québécois sovereigntists, and other marginals who managed to be visible. There are more anarchists than any of these groups, except maybe the sovereigntists, but the majority of anarchists chose either not to engage or they chose to engage in a way that didn’t mention the A-word.

Dateline Vancouver:  Today’s Occupy Vancouver protest was as much theatrical spectacle as political statement. There was the crowd of meditators who sat silently, eyes closed, through most of the all day rally in front of the Vancouver Art Gallery. There was a Lyndon Larouche devotee bearing a slick placard with a complex, colour coded diagram of an alternate speculation-free banking system; a street girl plucking punk meets Piaf tunes on a battered guitar while her dog sang along, and a young hippie playing a hurdy-gurdy. There was even a man with a pyramid on his head whose message only perhaps the illuminati might discern (although when he finally removed it to reveal a balding scalp, speculation ran rampant that it was just a protest chic comb over.)

Seattle:  Today, there were the occupiers, the activists, and quite a few rank and file, such as teachers, union members and families.  There were a few Larouchies, Hell Fire dudes, conspiracy mongers and Krishnas as well, but on the fringes.

American Nazi Party takes up Occupy cause.  “Turnabout fair play” tea partiers.  Our political discourse is stupdifying sometimes.

Occupy Irvine:  I noticed perhaps a half-dozen Oath Keepers (a group of current and former military, police, and firefighters determined to defend their vision of the Constitution, a similar number supporting Ron Paul’s presidential campaign, and a couple of LaRouchies with a very large banner covering the most visible corner.

I did notice a grandmotherly woman running a booth for La Rouche, which promoted impeaching Obama. She was not received well by the other crackpots there.

Occupy LA:   There are fringe groups or idiots in every group who are low hanging fruit for the opposition. At Occupy there are some people like the LaRouche-ites who are um, crazy or regurgitating whacked conspiracy theories without bothering to think for a minute about how goofy they are, and how such thinking plays into the hands of the people they are protesting.

OCCUPY FRANKFURT, GERMANY:  yes, count on the LaRouchies and Young Sparts to show up, here, cheerfully, to no effect.

Dateline Montreal:  To my delight, we stumbled upon a (very) heated debate between several Occupy Montreal activist and the Lyndon LaRouche cronies […] Lyndon LaRouche has been quoted calling Barack Obama a “trained monkey” and denigrating his mother for interracial mixing[…]. Everybody had beef with the table set up by the LaRouche supporters, as well as their violation of the rules that had been established at the general assembly. The different groups (community centers, NGO’s etc…) that had set up tents were prohibited from recruiting, as well, as promoting their own ideas and political views. No promotional pamphlets were to be distributed. The LaRouche supporters didn’t respect these rules; to add fuel to the fire, not only did they set up a table filled with pamphlets as well as other literary paraphernalia (i.e. books and posters) but the other protestors believed the essence of the LaRouche movement was racism, fascism and homophobia. Oh- and it definitely didn’t help that they were proclaiming nuclear energy was environmentally friendly.
The debate which lasted upwards of an hour began as an expulsion attempt. The protestors demanded LaRouche supporters leave the premises but they were met with staunch opposition. The debate became a matter of freedom of speech versus ideals and goals formulated byOccupy Montreal. My opinion; I have NO respect for LaRouche and I feel contempt and pity for the youth he has brainwashed but I do believe in freedom of speech even if, and especially when, the opinions expressed do not reflect my own.
Because the rules regarding material propaganda and the non- political attributes of the rally were voted democratically in a general assembly and were established for greater cohesion and promulgation of the real cause (we are the 99%), it was finally decided that LaRouche supporters could stay only if they gave up their propaganda and set up a tent and join THE cause.

Dateline Michigan:  The movement’s loosely-defined ethos was challenged this weekend when followers of Lyndon LaRouche—a political sect that Scientologists probably regard as kind of batty—attempted to attach themselves to the Occupy cause, setting up a table complete with their President Obama-as-Hitler posters.
LaRouche is also a convicted grifter, and a noted anti-Semite who believes Queen Elizabeth controls the global drug trade. His followers also may have had something to do with the 2003 death of a student and anti-war activist named Jeremiah Duggan.
LaRouchies will try to glom onto any movement. A couple years ago, it was the tea party.  Remember the health care reform=Nazis lady that prompted Rep. Barney Frank to quip: “What planet do you spend most of your time?” She was a LaRouchie.
Finding themselves not welcome on the right, they’re about to be again rejected by the left. 
What to do about the LaRouchies presence became a topic of debate among about a dozen Occupy campers. Eventually, a handful of anti-LaRouche protesters surrounded their table. They promptly fled Grand Circus Park for the Woodward sidewalk.
But defeating Team LaRouche is no great trick. Evolving beyond an awareness campaign is the real challenge.

Dateline Ottawa:  I welcomed the opportunity and he in turn extolled the virtues of a figure I knew little of, Lyndon Larouche. When I went home and researched Larouche I was shocked to discover his philosophy of conspiracy theories, 9/11 truth, racism and more.
But anecdotes are not enough to indict a crowd. That man was, hopefully, not representative of the rest. The only way you can discuss the group as a whole is by figuring out what unifies it. When it comes to the Occupiers, the unifying element is not content (their actual claims), but form (the way they’re going about things).

 Occupy Detroit:  Finally, there was a discussion about LaRouche supporters who are in the campgrounds and how they may need to be confronted. The concern was that LaRouche ideas could be attached to the Occupy Detroit movement. No decision was made on what to do.

While there are a select few ‘good’ ideas in his platform, I’m sure that if you pick through the rubble of a clock factory after the criminally insane through a riot in there, you’d find a few clocks that displayed the correct time.
His ideas are ill-thought out, and trying to hold a conversation with one of his (typical) supporters is futile–you’re most likely to get platitudes and shallow statements that lack any semblance of analysis or critical thinking.
If anyone has had a run-in with a LaRouche supporter, you’ll recognize the interaction.
I have, once or twice, long ago. Are they still around? Their world-view is . . . astonishing.

It is true that Larouche started the Hitler comparison to President Obama’s Affordable Care Act. the tea party embraced the imagery as did most right wing blogs, news, and other pundits. Editor’s Note: Is Occupy Wall Street a LaRouchite Movement?
As we pointed out yesterday, the elite-controlled Adbusters magazine is behind Occupy Wall Street, along with pseudo anarchist David Graeber. They are the ones that provided the pseudo anarchist “direct democracy” meme, lifted at least in part, it seems, from Muammar Gaddafi’s little Green Book.
But the movement goes back farther than that, to Anonymous and David DeGraw and AmpedStatus – groups and individuals that were agitating for Wall Street demos as early as March of last year.
We’ve had questions about Anonymous in the past and we have little idea of exactly who David DeGraw is in terms of his real background, though we’ve mentioned him before. We do know the current Occupy Wall Street movement is modeled in part on the Arab Spring movements that are evidently and obviously controlled by the State Dept., CIA, AYM, etc. That doesn’t mean DeGraw is part of such controllers, of course. Karl Rove, for one, identifies the problems with the Occupiers as against the Tea Partiers.  One is the existence of the Larouchies in the Occupiers camp.  Funny, that Karl Rove.  He Refuses to identify the Larouchies at the Tea Party as on par with the Occupiers.  A disclaimer:  despite my cynicism in this thing, and mixed opinions on matters, I don’t think it’s a secret which “camp” of the two I hold more sympathy toward.

Interestingly, the single most important demand for Alex Jones is to “end the fed”.  Actually, to tell the truth, if I had to rank my number one item out of “Occupy”, it probably would be “restoring Glass Steagall” — a tangible goal against a sea of both tangible and intangibles, of which Obama is not the figure “Standing in the way”.  BUT then again… let’s hear it from Helga:

Dateline Minnesota:  The discussion is so orderly and focused on process that it took me 15 minutes of observation on Tuesday to realize they were discussing something rather explosive. Supporters of the controversial political activist Lyndon Larouche had propped up a giant poster of President Obama with a Hitler mustache. “So we’re the Tea Party now?” one passerby quipped.

To be fair to the OWS, these Ron Paulites are an organized vanguard group  like the LaRouchies and are catching even much better organized rightwing  groups off guard. The Value Voters Summit this weekend was a prime  gathering of evangelicals
I  think comparisons to the LaRouchies deserve to become a stock simile.

Workers World Party:  The protest was politically inclusive and welcomed diversity. But when a right-wing group, followers of Lyndon LaRouche, tried to sing some patriotic songs, Aron Kaye, a longtime activist in New York, went up to them and told them, “This isn’t your demonstration — get lost!” They must have believed Kaye was speaking for a majority of protesters, as they did lose themselves.

It may grow over time (as long as the LaRouchies don’t scare away too many people).

I have not been entirely on top of what’s going on, but I did hear that the LaRouchies have landed, as they do whenever there’s a large gathering. That, I would imagine, is the source of the anti-Semitism and homophobia.

What would  a protest like this be without a LaRouche table? We should colonize Mars.

As with any large gathering, there was no shortage of dissonant groups: Code Pink had a large enclosure in the center of the square, meshing its notorious anti-war message with a call for a halt on foreclosures. Towards the back, a band of LaRouchies had gathered to hand out literature explaining why President Obama is a lot like Hitler.

I love these protesters. They’re bracketing the LaRouchies and calling them on their bullshit. They made my afternoon brighter.

I’m not sure about these Occupy protests yet. They are pleasing on first blush if only because finally people other than the tea party are in the streets. Drudge focused on protests in 5 cities early Sunday, then doubled back to link to an Alex Jones rant condemning the protests.  (Those kids aren’t Ron Paul Robots! Those kids have never even heard of Lyndon Larouche!) The blow back had begun apparently .

LaRouche normally makes some good economic sense but his obsession about “British” plots is quite tiresome. I used to think LaRouche made some sense, also his wife thingy talks a lot of sense.

When we did have an economic downturn in 2007-8, his followers claimed this as ‘proof’ of his ‘predictions.’ HWA’s ‘prophecies’ include the wonderful ones from the mid-50′s, that Hitler was either 1) not dead, but holed up in the Antarctic with ‘secret Nazi weapons’ or 2) dead, but about to be miraculously raised from the dead by the Pope. No wonder PCG, UCG, LCG etc. get upset if you look up back issues of Plain Truth, Good News etc. Just like Larouchies don’t like to be reminded what ‘Lyn’ said back in the 60s & 70s.

Actually, the BueSo is politically insignificant. The election results are available nationwide at approximately 0.1 percent and also local successes can not show the organization. Yet it manages to show presence in many cities in Germany. Also in Bochum, is regularly represented on campus and in the inner city with little stalls. On self-painted billboards share the world with her party members (see Introduction). Sometimes amusing, sometimes frightening or scary stupid, what is there to read. The hobby-horse of the party’s financial crisis. Years ago, warned BüSo top guru Lyndon LaRouche before the collapse of financial markets. In recent publications, the gloating over the apparent confirmation of their theories is hard to read and reminds you feel young, proud to announce that you have known a particular band long before they are “cool” and “hot” was.

And so we go.  A semi-minor matter of Roy Frankhouser, where we have some parsing of matters here.  Deletions crossed, additions in brackets and italicized

The question of “associates” gets rather hilarious in some other edits.  The gist of the latest batch of wikipedia edits come down to wanting to deal away the threats to Girvin and a variety of threatening behavior to reporters — particularly in the 1980 New Hampshire Primary, and a reference in the Franklin Cover-Up Caper.

And we have a removal of a reference to Larouche being accompanied by “armed guards” is traded in for “several of his associates” in describing a “tense encounter with a New Hampshire journalist”.

We land in a loopy land where the Larouche wikipedia teams slides into a sort of case of selective existential crisis in the “Verify sourcing” question.  Okay, let’s see the deletions:

Reporters, campaign workers, and party officials received calls from people impersonating reporters or ADL staff members who asked questions including about what “bad news” they had heard about Larouche.  Return calls reportedly showed that the reported callers were imposters.

Governor Hugh Gallen and State Attorney General Thomas Rath both received harassing phone calls “day and night.”

When he reported the incident, he found one of his cats dead on his doorstep the following morning, and another dead cat on each of the subsequent days the series ran.  [Note: they added “A Larouche associate denied responsibility for the dead cats.]

According to courtroom testimony by FBI agent Richard Egan, the head of Larouche’s security unit boasted of placing harassing phone calls all through the night to the general counsel of the Federal Elections Commission in which the FEC was investing Larouche’s political contributions.

When a Catholic Priest refused to sign, a young Larouche follower accused him of being homosexual.  Another signature gatherer shouted “You are going to get AIDs” to a woman who would not sign.  There was an altercation between a member of the public and a Larouche follower allegedly standing beside a poster that said “Kill the Faggots.  Kill Elizabeth Taylor” which resulted in battery charges.

In 2009, Larouche followers who were protesting Barack Obama’s healthcare reform proposal stood outside a Trader Joe’s grocery store in Irvine, California wearing swastikas, bringing some shoppers to tears.  Followers called those who disagreed “bitches” and “Hitler lovers”.  Some arguments grew heated and on several occasions police were called to remove the Larouche followers.

While Girvin was being interviewed on a sidewalk by a tv reporter, someone walked behind her and said “Polly, you’re going to die” which the reporter soaid sounded like a threat.
[Added:  Due to that and what she said were other threatening behaviors, Girvin gave up her practice, sold her home, and left the state.]

Larouche said that a US Attorney who was investigating the movement [Weld] “does not deserve to live.  He should have a bullet between the eyes,” according to a statement given to the FBI by

The Omaha question:
According to experts quoted by the Omaha-World Herald, Larouche’s motive for involvement was to justify phone solicitations raising money to combat child abuse in Nebraska.
According to one report, experts stated that Larouche’s involvement in the matter allowed his phone solicitors to raise money by saying they needed  money to fight child abuse in Nebraska.

Removed some notations: Resident Anthropologist removed the Red Letter Press pamphlet as a “dubious publisher”, a new piece “Who are the Traitors and who are the Heroes” as “Barely mentions Larouche” (and, really, hard to object), and an article about the Larouchies disrupting a Dean event.  Also seen that customary removal effort for Dennis King’s book and the “revisions on random websites” not “RS and SPS”.

I am sympathetic to this:

Girven incident is important.  And after a pause I think about it, reading through the batch of Larouche news articles, and think… this is the stuff that the Larouche Movement is made of, and the “Values in Conflict” we have (the “seems to dry up in the 1990s problem” throws you the problems you have to deal with.

Meanwhile, I sense the Larouche Wikipedia team — or maybe the I can call that editor the “See no Evil” enabler wikipedian in deference to “Assume Good Faith” dictates —  floats around the “Warn you the last chance” on a “Revert War” to Will Beback.  It’s a project for the Larouche wikipedia team, though I’m guessing sans Will Beback, something would fill the void.

The key agreements were signed under cover of the 2010 Olympics, in Vancouver, when Governors frrom US Western States travelled to Canada and signed what were called “:green energy agreements” which is “code” for water agreements. Immediately afterwards, the British Columbia government announced it would proceed to construct a huge reservoir that has been delayed for over 30 years and, about the same time, the Premiers of Canada’s western [provinces announced that, henceforth, they would be stewards for water for all of North America.
Queen Elizabeth then came to her Canadian colony, in the summer of 2010, for ten days and had high level meetings with Canada’s federal government in Ottawa. She departed and travelled to New York City where, in our opinion, she delivered key rights of way documents and other concessions that would legally permit the project to proceed on a sound legal footing. It was her first visit to New York in 35 years.
This year, 2011, Prince William came to his mothers Canadian colony, for 10 days, left, and travelled to California where he had private meetings with Governor Gerry Brown which, assuredly, included discussions about water.
Water exports from Canada is a very sensitive subject so to everything is being done secretly.
The process is underway and it will be a huge public works project that will see rivers of clean fresh water diverted to south western USA and northern Mexico.

The best I can come up with is the Larouche Movement’s side trip to Walla Walla.

Dateline  LA JOLLA, Calif. —A picture of President Barack Obama with a Hitler-style mustache is causing concern and outrage in downtown La Jolla.
At the corner of Wall Street and Ivanhoe Avenue, political activists are asking La Jolla residents and visitors to impeach the President, showing two pictures of Obama: one with a mustache and the other, in a straight jacket.
Yelling from behind a table, the two young men from Los Angeles are trying to grab the attention of everyone they can, even if they are ignored.

MASS STRIKE REACTIONS:
So there’s a couple nutty activist somewhere. Is this only being reported because they’re doing their thing in La Jolla?
The LaRouchies have to pull stunts like this to get any attention. I got to know more than I ever wanted to know about them when I lived in the Virginia community they “invaded” when Lyndon LaRouche bought an estate them. They’re real troublemakers and total nuts. It’s hard to know where to place them on the political spectrum, other than exceptionally strange nuts somewhere out in outer space.
On the other hand, at least we know LaRouche is a crook. In a way, that makes him an honest candidate.

I parked the car and stomped back to the table. Standing there was a very young woman dressed much like any college sophomore. I immediately began yelling at her. I went off on this woman like a Roman candle. I said the obvious: How can you compare our president to a man who systematically exterminated 6 million Jews and millions of others? How can you brazenly insult all the people who lost family in the Holocaust? As I ranted, another young woman joined the first, a cherry-cheeked redhead in her early 20s. She said if I were willing to have a “discussion” they would give me their views. “If you wanted to have a ‘discussion’” I steamed, “you wouldn’t have put up that picture. If you wanted to have a ‘discussion’ your table would feature thought-provoking quotes. What you want is for people like me to go off on you.”
This went on for a while. I yelled, the redhead flung out dubious “facts,” and they both mantra’d that Obama had gained the presidency through a coup d’état, placed into power by the British “empire.” Right there, I should have let it go. Anyone who thinks Britain is still an empire really hasn’t been paying attention. But I stayed.
Even as I ranted like a nut job, I knew I should walk away. Surely, getting such reactions was one of their objectives. The redhead said she could explain the comparison if I would stop interrupting, which was just rude. And I certainly was rude. I get like that around people who want to compare the president of the United States to the man who devised the plan to torture and exterminate entire categories of human beings.

But Jordan Genso, chairperson of the Livingston County Democratic Party, said while some Democrats, including himself, agree with bringing back Glass-Steagall, the rest of the group’s ideas are suspect at best. He said the rhetoric of comparing Obama with Hitler shows the group can’t be taken seriously.
“That is obviously in poor taste and should not be acceptable,” Genso said. “I think they lose all credibility when they go that route. I don’t know what they are trying to achieve with these tactics.” […]
Vullo said LaRouche didn’t break any laws and that the prosecution was because of his ideas.
The group is backing six candidates for congress, including one from Michigan, Bill Roberts. Vullo said Roberts hasn’t decided which congressional district to run in. She also said should couldn’t say whether or when the group would be back in Hartland.

I stopped and talked to a young lady with the Hitler signs. She is so young, she has no concept of the devastation Hitler rained on the world. She had her canned responses and specious reasonings that make feable attempts to justify their (La Rouche’s) position. Maybe, she is getting minimum wage for her efforts. As the Nazi concentration camp and Holocost survivers rapidly diminish in numbers, she may never have the chance to meet one. She should go in to the Holocost Museum-Memorial and make an informed visit. Since La Rouche is 89 years old and allegedly a WWII vet, she says he knows the true story and thus makes an accurate comparision. She needs to make her own informed mind up, instead of swallowing propaganda. (which is a long forgotten word)

Commenter makes the “sigh” to dispute the blogger’s point.   I just watched the German movie “Blind Spot: Hitler’s Secretary.”  It is a long talking-head interview with 81-year-old Traudl Junge, Hitler’s secretary from 1942-1945.  Her intimate account of aspects of Hitler’s beliefs and personality indicate that the similarities between A.H. and Obama are not a joking matter.  Traudl died before Obama entered public life.

As for LaRouchies, I almost made a point that the New York Times blog post inexplicably called him a “far-right figure” as if that comes even close to describing the idiosyncratic cult of personality that is LaRouche. Though he ran repeatedly as a Democrat and Labour Party candidate, he is a jumbled mess of views and his small band of supporters aren’t really representative of anything but themselves.

But that’s why I cannot believe you lead with a photo of someone from LarouchePAC holding up an Obama is Hitler sign (which I know is from 2009 and not now). They just show up and stand by protests to get attention. What do you do? Start an altercation? Tell them to run away? Then a fight happens and police step in?
And how is what you are doing with this post any different from some right winger going to a rally like “One Nation Working Together” in October last year and taking photos of only socialists and communists in attendance and then saying “Look! This is who these people really are!”?

I can see the implementation of a large internationally mutual project being an effective bridging of foreign relations, such as that of NAWAPA (proposed by Lyndon LaRouche). The LaRouche PAC team and I do not quite see eye to eye on everything (they do not endorse my support of Ron Paul, stating that they think his views on the correction of the monetary system as being “unconstitutional”, citing instead a Hamiltonian credit-based system as their one and only solution, as opposed to a gold backed monetary system. I believe this is because this credit system would be the only way they could see the NAWAPA Project being expediantly fundable. Just my suspicion, mind you, and I am not completely unresponsive to their Hamiltonian credit system, I merely choose to direct my efforts, at this time, towards a more viable and immediate solution, with that being the possibility of Ron Paul becoming President in the next election) but I only wish to pursue workable solutions for the benefit of mankind, and thus, I do promote NAWAPA. If you are not aware of it already, please check it out. It is a very interesting and promising mega-infrastructural project designed to provide water, power, transportation and fertile land to areas of the world which are currently lacking it.

Chris, I do not understand the credibility you place in LaRouche. In the course of chasing errands earlier this summer, I spotted a political table in front of the post office. I was some distance from it in the parking lot, but saw clearly a large poster of Obama with the “Hitler moustache” painted on his face. Alongside that was another poster, large lettering proclaiming, “Bring Back Glass-Steagall.” The two posters seemed, together, a contradiction: Lettering a message is very different from desecrating a photo of ANY human face.
I had never seen a political table like this, so I approached to dialog in order to learn the who, what, etc. of the messages. It took several attempts on my part to assure the young man behind the table that I was not there to argue, but to understand their point of view. At one point he said, “Okay, you’ve passed the test,” at which point it seemed to me he articulated that he believed I was sincere in wanting to understand. However, the long and short of it is, he would not inform me of any stance he held; rather, trying to hand me any number of papers to read and referring to a website of La Rouche. When I persisted in wanting to “hear from him,” he began to articulate koans. ( n in Zen Buddhism – a problem or riddle that admits no logical solution)
Other women had arrived at the table, a couple of them immediately critical of the Obama Hitler moustache. He said it wasn’t HItler’s moustache, but that of Charlie Chaplin…to which I replied, “you know very well a first reaction to this moustache would not be Charlie Chaplin…many people do not even know who Charlie Chaplin was.” When he continued responding with koans, the women simply became more frustrated with him. I explained to them what a koan was, and then the other person behind the table, a young woman who’d been talking on her cell phone the whole time, said, laughing, “You’ll never get anywhere with him, he’s a philosopher.” She, though, also did not acknowledge the questions any of us “seekers” were asking. One of the questions I had was “Who do you support, then, for President?” No answer.
I finally left, astonished that someone who had set up a political table had no interest in conversing informatively with those who showed up for information. And it troubles me that young minds are not able to function person-to-person. Truth is like pollen–carried by all of us anywhere in many forms. I, for one, am not looking for a gospel or a charismatic figure to follow. One of the things I value about the Kauilapele’s Blog is that you seem to dip and sift as I do.

I didn’t let him finish the answer.  I probably should have.  I asked him a different question.

I didn’t make an argument for Obama, nor did I argue against the offensive imagery in the sign.  I stayed there for at least an hour.  I asked them to tell me why Larouche thinks Raisa Gorbachev attempted to assassinate him in his home.

It was pretty obvious what they are taught.  They are taught that their bread and butter is going to be senior men.  Every time they see a man who is older than 60 walk out of the post office, they immediately accost him.
“Are you ready to dump Obama?”
Maybe they get a bite.  Maybe they don’t.
My strategy was to get them to advocate for a candidate.  They couldn’t.  They simply don’t know anything about the insane man who is earning money off of their ignorance.

I asked them to justify their support for their guy.  I asked this over and over and over.  I can be really annoying, just ask my kids.
Eventually, one of them just said, “He’s not going to win! Okay!”   I thought that was  pretty good “get.” I made sure that other people were aware of his opinion.
He tried to film me.  My job requires me to stand up in front of crowds of 300 people and do public speaking with Q and A being a main part of the job.  As he filmed me, I repeated facts about Larouche.  He tried to act as if I were afraid of him.  I was slightly agitated, but not overly so.   He eventually stopped filming.
He insisted that I was breaking the law by being in his space.  As you no doubt are aware, by making their advocacy public, they are open to as much criticism as I can possibly dish out.  I let them know this fact.
“I’m calling the police!”
He tried to compare the harassment he was receiving to the scenario of a single woman who is being targeted by someone.   I told him that the current scenario would make more sense if the woman were a Democratic Party representative, and she was standing there making arguments for the Dems, but was unwilling to answer any questions regarding the political positions of those Dems.
He asked me to leave. I told him that I’d leave when I felt like it.  They had come to my neighborhood, and I was doing what any right thinking person should do.  I was protecting my neighborhood from them.
This is the best part of all.
He called the police.  I told the guy that what he did was an unfortunate mistake.
1.  “Not only are you wrong about free speech,” I said, “but you also made it so that I am forced to stay here!  I can’t leave when you’ve called the police.  That would be irresponsible!”  (In this case, 1.  is plenty.  2 is not required.)
So I waited.  They failed over and over and over.  I asked them if I could have some of their newsletters.  They refused to share them with me.  I asked them about the magazine they had.  They told me that it cost 5 dollars.  I looked at it.  It said, “5.00 contribution.”
I guessed that they weren’t able to sell it, because they would break some campaign laws.  I told them that it was probably a legal error on their part to tell me that it costs money to purchase.  I told them, “Really, I could just take that, right?”
He told me that I was being an asshole.  I agreed.  I told the one with the beard, “Yes, you’re right, I’m being an asshole, but being an asshole is not illegal.”
Eventually, the police came.  The officer huddled with the Larouchies.  The Larouchies complained that I was interrupting their discussions.
I noticed afterwards that the police had parked their cruiser in front of the “Huge Meat Sandwich” store up the road.  I can only assume that they weren’t all that interested in the Larouchies, but more likely they wanted a sandwich.
The officer walked over to me.  He clarified that I was interrupting them.  I was fully confident that what I was doing was within the bounds of the law.  The officers confirmed that.
I felt like rubbing it in a little bit, so I made sure to clarify a couple things for myself and the Larouchies.  I asked how far into their space I could go.  I asked if it was necessary for me to have an official looking table to act as a counterprotest.  No, of course not.
The police went to get their sandwiches.
In the entire time I stood there with the Larouchies, they were able to get one person to fill out a form.  Whether they would have gotten more, or whether that guy actually signed it as a statement of support for them, because I was harassing the larouchies…  I don’t know.
Here’s what I said before I left them to their own devices:
“Well, it looks like you’re failing pretty well all by yourselves, so I’ll let you guys at that.”

In the context of the book, the bad chemicals are already going on, and it’s just the one bad idea that is needed to motivate someone towards horrific actions.
Bad chemicals are going to happen.  I figure it’s my job to do my best to mediate the number of bad ideas that are available for public consumption.  Or, at the very least, it’s important for people to see that any bad idea will have direct opposition.

. If one talks to them; the first thing they say is, vote for larouche and he’ll legalize marijuana. My response always is; “how bad do you think I want to get high”?

I note that alongside the Holocaust denial stuff, he denounces jazz (that crazy jazz music!) as a dangerously “Aristotelian” influence on impressionable young minds. Who knew that jazz was an insidious tool of “the oligarchy?”

I agree with you, but that’s not why I applaud your confrontational stance with the Larouchies rather than liken them to the Christians and champion their contention with you. I don’t like the Larouche supporters because they are a bunch of sneaky, opportunistic jerks who do nothing except piss everyone off with their claptrap. Everyone with half a brain knows that Larouche himself is a nut job, but we could easily ignore him were it not for the annoying persistence of his delusional supporters.

My local Democratic organization is infested with a squad of these cretins who attend the meetings, but don’t shell out the money to join. We have to tolerate them because it’s a public meeting, but we don’t let them address the group! One of our bylaws is that you must be a member to speak.

The other weekend a local Jewish fellow who happens to have an African-America wife just snapped and began bellowing at the LaRouchies, telling them to take down their damn signs.  Quite an uproar resulted.  Eventually someone a half-block away called the police who came in and calmed down the local citizen.  The LaRouchie’s response?  They hung up another Obama as Hitler poster.  It had worked for them, so they were playing to their strength.

Are those young zealots paid for their Saturday morning efforts?  or are they really the morons they appear to be?  Is there no way to get them off public property?

I  once actually read LaRouche’s book on pitch and it is the oddest combination of numerology and some sort of music-of-the-spheres morality tale about tuning.  Of course, the fact that A=440 is an accepted industrial standard and that changing it at this late date would be impossibly expensive does not even come up in his fat, pretentious, utterly insane book.
Goodness! And I just went out……..and bought a very nice (used) Moeck Rottenburg Alto, Ebony hardwood…. A=440Hz. Was I really serving Satan?!?! Who knew?!?!

The same article goes on to note that by Larouche’s account, Vivaldi doesn’t have the “fundamental emotion,” whatever the heck that is. Presumably, those sun-dappled Italians were insufficiently weighty for our Platonic hero. Maybe Bruckner was more his speed.
Plato believed that music was overtly dangerous, and must be regulated by the state. He was worried that certain modes would be too decadent, and insufficiently warlike; their use would corrupt the good citizens of the Republic. I’m guessing that that’s the derivation of Larouche’s ideas… such as they are.
So Plato was more of a Def Leppard fan instead of maybe Iron Maiden.

They freak when I take their picture.   At first they maintain their standard welcome face, but their eyes start to wiggle when I hold up my cellphone.

The LaRouche organization is actually only a fundraising scheme. They exist only to funnel money back to LaRouche. The point of those Obama as Hitler posters is to capture some pocket change from the Obama haters. If they could make money using Obama as Jesus posters, they would use those.  I know, because I have some in-laws who are hard core LaRouchies.  I think I’d prefer wingnut in-laws, actually.

I saw the idiots outside of our post office. (Here in Marin County, ferchrissake, like, get a clue!  There are hardly any places in the whole country more “blue” than here.  Duh.)  There were two of ’em, like your encounter.
I didn’t see the “Obama as Hitler” sign until I got out of the car.   I stood staring at them for a long moment (about 20 yards away), and they starting fidgeting expectantly, like, either I was coming to talk to ’em, or to “harass” ’em.  They couldn’t tell which.
I was so itching to go and do what you did, otto.  But I went on about my p.o. business.  I stared at ’em again when I came back out, and they started fidgeting again, looking back at me.
I sat in the car on the curb for some long moments, trying to decide if it was worth it to me to go “engage” ’em.   While I pondered, an attractive, petite senior came up to ’em and started talking with ’em.  I couldn’t hear the conversation, but I was two-thumbs-up when I saw her step back to take their picture with her cell phone.  (Musta been a Kossack! 😉  They seemed uncomfortable with her photographing them, but they tried to be stoic about it.   I could see her angling to make sure she got the LaDouche sign and the Obama-as-Hitler sign in the photo with ’em.  Tee hee.

Way back in 1972-3, LaRouche ran “National Caucus of Labor Committees” or NCLC.  They were nominally ultra-leftist.  In Washington, DC, they targetted co-op bookstores popular as left-wing projects in those days.  I was involved in one near Dupont Circle.
They sought to seize control of the bookstores and convert them to fronts for their organization. We resisted and ejected the NCLC stooges (multiple times as they kept returning).
On my walk home from one such “struggle session”, I was jumped and beaten senseless by the NCLC accolytes dressed in black.
The degree of thought control the LaRouchian establish over their pawns is criminal and dangerous.

Past experience with Larouchies myself. At Washington National, the table was up and the pitchguys and gals were singing out about how Real Americans ought to Feed Jane Fonda To The Whales!”, one of the then current Larouchie hot buttons. So while i was waiting for my plane, i pulled out a magic marker and the cardboard back from a legal pad and made a little sign that read “Feed Lyndon Larouche to Jane Fonda!” and vamped up and down in front of their table, which for some reason got the three of them mad, so the young lady started calling me filthy names. and on the front of their table was the then-latest, pre-Giant Hydropower Thing slogan, “Nuclear Power is Safer Than Sex!” So I just had to ask the young lady whose identity was apparently under stress, “When was the last time you had sex with a fast breeder reactor, and which part was it you were particularly involved with?” good thing my plane was called before the police had to get into it…

Sounds like one of my numerous run-ins. But usually they tell me the police they will call is one of their brothers-in-law or something. They tried physical intimidation once, pushing up nose-to-nose with me, but I guess me backing away and flipping their table over went into the hive-mind as not a productive way to go for them.
Anyway, they never came back to my post office after that.
The funniest things are LaRouche saying “Well, I warned President Kennedy that..” and posters of himself pasted next to Dr. King, as if he was connected with them.

His grinning zombies were handing out these extraordinary brochures in Boston in the early 1980s, all full of railing about the gold standard and beam weapons.  He seriously was advocating not just the Star Wars program, but beam weapons in space.

These guys are so annoying, wherever they pop up. I even saw them in Germany a couple of months ago and was horrified. They looked so normal and nice, and the signs didn’t say anything about Lyndon LaRouche, but when I walked up to talk to them they were just as nasty as their American counterparts. It’s like they’re a magnet for all the obnoxious and mean-spirited people of the world, and I’m just glad there aren’t enough of them to ever gain traction.

At first it looked like a totally homegrown movement to protest the Euro and reintroduce the Deutsche Mark. I was curious.

But when I walked by the table again later and a guy waved me to come talk to him, it turned out that their nice sounding People’s Solidarity Movement (bueso.de) was just a front for hawking the LaRouche cult.

It took about 10 minutes of a progressively deteriorating conversation until the LaRouche name was dropped, and not surprisingly, that’s when he got absolutely nasty and started calling me names.

I read the article at your link about Larouche’s support for NAWAPA.  He seems endearingly indifferent to an Canadian input in this idea.  Maybe he knows it wouldn’t be supportive.  Heh.
The reason he selected the plan that already existed is only because it’s less work than making a new one.
He knows that it stands absolutely no chance at happening, but he needs something to say he’s for.  Otherwise, he can’t manage any donations or sucker people to work for him.

Last time I saw a trio of Larouchies was at a John Edwards (yeah, I know) event in NYC. They started asking him dumbass questions about the Bilderbergers and all that crap. Me and a couple of other people started hooting them down, but I have to say that they were damn near as good as Fred Phelps and his lot. One guy in particular with a black belt in passive-aggressiveness was just begging for a beatdown, and I was about to oblige him when I managed to get ahold of myself and realized what was happening.

Over here in the 26th LD, we had them show up to our March Dems meeting, where they wound up in the same discussion group as the Kisap County Dems’ chair. As you can probably imagine, another verbal takedown quickly ensued. There were three of thm and one of him, and they kept trying to interrupt him, which was another mistake, because he called them on rudeness in front of everybody, then skillfully attacked and dismantled everything they said. You do not mess with the Kitsap County Chair 🙂 .

Something I’m puzzling over a tad.

Although an autopsy found that there was no third party involvement in his death last Friday – Lepper was found hanging in his Warsaw office – an investigation is currently under way into the circumstances which led to the suicide.

Who the hell is this guy? His cult was singing and parading outside the bank yesterday holding signs depicting Obama as Hitler (in this town, I’m surprised none of them got their asses kicked). Not only that, the loons with the posters and fliers were actually grabbing people as they entered the bank; security and the police were called after mom was the 4,785th person to complain. I didn’t see the aftermath (I kinda wanted to see if they’d claim the right to free assembly); on my way home the singers and sign-carriers were gone but they were still yelling at people from a table with a PAC banner (which they had been forced to move closer to the alley).

His platform is apparently “Fuck everyone, especially the Jews. Please excuse me while I scream in your face from 2 inchs away about you being a faggot until you, quite rightfully, beat the shit out of me so I have an excuse to sue you.”

Picture the WBC but without the religious slant and even more batshit insane (if it’s even possible) and you have LaRouche.
“Cult” seems to be the best term as anyone with an IQ above room temperature and an ounce of rational thought wouldn’t give the loon the time of day.

Here they were again—those advocates for Lyndon LaRouche, a man and a woman intent on giving out pamphlets, taking in signatures, and talking to anyone who’d listen.  There were about five people listening yesterday, engaging in what seemed to be supportive conversation.
My daughter and I stared open-mouthed at President Obama’s mustachioed face.  Was it my imagination, or had all the color been washed from his skin?  How had he turned such a palid, mein kampf gray?  It’s amazing what a stubby black caterpillar of facial hair can do to a person.   Something had happened to Obama’s eyes too.  I’d never seen them so glazed and vacant, so empty.
I got out of the car.  My daughter stayed where she was, cracking the car door.  I could feel her watching as I walked past the stand, the little crowd.  As I passed I heard a man’s voice, one of the crowd:  “Just get big shotgun, that’s what I say.”  People laughed. […]

I held out my hands—stop.  The man stopped.  He was keeping the required distance from the post office steps, too, I suppose.
I said, “I respect your right to freedom of speech, but what you’re doing here is spreading hate.”
The man smiled.  His smile showed teeth.  “Thank you for sharing that,” he said, as he turned away, leaving me standing there, sweating in the heat.
We were both so civil.  The man used such a nice verb—I shared, he shared, we shared.  So why was I so shaken?

Dateline… Houston:  Later Tuesday afternoon I received a most unusual phone call. As the President of a local GOP women’s PAC, I often get calls from those interesting in speaking to our group. This person and her approach was different, to say the least.
The phone rang and the number that came up on caller id was not familiar and the “unknown” label flashed. It was a local area code so I answered. “Hi. This is Julianne. May I speak to Karen Townsend?”. “Yes, this is she”, I replied. “Hi. I’d like to talk to you about the LaRouche initiatives.” “Lyndon LaRouche?”, I replied. “Yes. Are you familiar with Mr. LaRouche?” My response was as calm of a one as I could manage -“Yes, I am.” Then she said, “We are looking to build an army.” With that I was out. “I’m not interested. Thank you.” And I hung up.
A minute or two passed and another call came in. It was from Julianne again.After the I just want to discuss some points we can agree on, she said, “Can I talk to you about speaking to your group?” This was easy – I told her our group has programs lined up through the end of the year. In January we will have a new President and a new Programs Vice-President. Then I went on to tell her that our group really doesn’t have supporters of Mr. LaRouche’s in its membership.
She went back to the I think we have ideas we can both agree on bit. So, yeah, I’ll engage and hear what she is serving up today. I ask, “Well, like what?” and she brings the conversation to an end with her opening remark – “Can we both agree that President Obama has committed treasonous acts?”
Oy. No, Julianne, we cannot agree upon that statement. Bye-bye.

When asked what they were there for today, one protestor said they did not talk to journalists and would not give any comment.

The goal was to get 100 Pennsylvania governmental agencies to express their support for H.R. 1489: Return to Prudent Banking Act of 2011, before this summer’s Congressional recess. That’s according to Dan Gring, a committee volunteer who lives in Hatfield Township. He said only five have passed supporting resolutions.

Committee representatives have recently appeared at public meetings throughout the North Penn and Indian Valley regions — including Towamencin, Upper Gwynedd and  Hatfield townships — according to Gring, a machinist.

“It’s been an uphill battle,” said Gring, who spoke to members of the North Wales Borough Council earlier this week.

Fifteen activists with the N.H. American Federation of Labor and Congress of Industrial Organizations, N.H. Alliance for Retired Americans and Moveon.org picketed outside with signs bearing slogans like “Hands off Medicare and Social Security.”

A handful of volunteers with the LaRouche Political Action Committee also handed out fliers and held up signs, one of which bore the image of President Barack Obama with a Hitler-style mustache.

Two protestors were escorted out of Rep. Dan Lungren (R-Gold River)’s Aug. 18 town hall meeting in Elk Grove for being disruptive and a group of picketers rallied outside before he spoke.
A sheriff’s deputy removed Alexandra Phillips and Mark Samet from the meeting after they shouted at Lungren and wouldn’t let him speak.
“Why are you bailing out Wall Street?” Samet told him. “What you are doing is wrong.”

In a statement issued today, Kentucky State Senator Perry B. Clark (D-District 37) called upon President Obama to step down, and Congress to pass Glass-Steagall legislation. The full statement reads as follows:

This pre-supposes giant leaps at a few junctures.  One — if you want Obama’s low approval ratings to sky-rocket, just have the Republican Congress come out for Obama’s Impeachment off of a preposition that he is insane.  Two — Supposing he is removed, this would translate to Speaker Boehner and Senate Majority Leader Reid shephearding through the reinstatement of Glass Steagall for the signature of President Biden — somehow Obama is the big implement in this and not, for instance, the Financial Service Industry’s donation to a multitude of political figures — the same funding that had its removal passed by huge Congressional majorities and signed by President Clinton?  Three — the enactment of Glass Stagall will remove $17 Trillion off the national debt — how?  Magic?

I suppose if we get Frankhouser out of the equation, we’ve nothing with the KKK.  The Liberty Lobby becomes more comical — is a statement in a book by Larouche that pegs Liberty Lobby members as True Patriots “support”?  This reminds me of reading a Larouche commenter charging against someone demanding a reference for Larouche’s Communist Background — is there a reset button for the organization’s history?

I don’t want to just turn on the tv and start from no where, I want to know what’s been going on up until now-everything about politics,what’s a good place to start?I’m not planning on learning about politics from yahoo answers but I need to know where to get started because my parents don’t follow politics or I’d ask them so I need names of books or something.By the way,I’m 15 if that helps.

Dateline Holden:  Holden has a sidewalk ordinance that clearly states that no political sign can be within two feet of a sidewalk. I called the police to see if they were aware of the booth and they said they had already been by and determined they were not blocking the sidewalk so they would allow it. OK, I guess this falls under police discretion and the police should be able to use their best judgement. I wrote one of the select board to bring it to their attention. Next I thought I would check out the legality of political actions on federal property (the post office) because a friend, accused of electioneering on federal property, was asked to stop by police. This was because she was to some folks while in line about her candidacy for the select board in that town.

Dateline Oakland:  Once they had assured Cornell that she was still living in August 2011, the Oakland Press did what responsible news organizations should do—they wrote a story about two flunkies in the fringiest of fringe groups and their obnoxious sign.
President Obama, of course, is a grown-up who probably won’t lose sleep over being compared to Hitler by these guys. Two men who said they were from LaRouche PAC turned heads in front of Riley Park Tuesday morning, with a display that included a sign urging citizens to “Dump Obama.”

Both men refused to reveal their names and would not say whether they lived in the community. One of the men recommended going to LaRouchePAC.com for more information. The other said they weren’t allowed to give interviews to reporters, but said they had been on the street all morning and had engaged a number of passersby in conversation.

While he was speaking, a passing motorist honked and gave the men a “thumbs up” sign.

A disturbance occurred in San Anselmo on Saturday surrounding some political signs and left people wondering what was that all about?

According to Det. Cpl. Julie Gorwood, the LaRouche Political Action Committee set up a table on San Anselmo Avenue, near the Wells Fargo. The group has previously tabled outside the Bank of America in Fairfax.

A number of residents called the police about the inflammatory messages of the group, including a poster of Obama with a Hitler mustache.

Alex Jones and Lyndon Larouche make up more than the sum of their parts.  It is not Alex Jones plus Lyndon Larouche — it is Alex Jones MULTIPLIED BY Lyndon Larouche.  Or maybe it is Lyndon Larouche to the Alex Jones power?  Work out the equation however you might.  I personally have not used illicit drugs, but I gather that this thing makes for a good substitute for psychedelics.   Read this array of comments *and we get an acid trip — and the real reason that Larouche takes a hard line against drugs (he already has a potent mixture of paranoia — a cocktail mix may prove deadly.)

We see in the comments sections Larouchies making a Recruitment bid.  I understand this pretty well focuses like a laser on Larouche’s target audience, unlike, for instance, Steinberg making his foray onto Iranian Press TV.

It is interesting to note that on the following day, another former presidential candidate — and described as such in the bio — Chuck Baldwin made an  appearance on the Alex Jones Show.  He gave his take on the recent dealings in Washington, parallel but distinct from Larouche’s — it may be worth a compare and contrast.  Now, Chuck Baldwin has been getting a bit of media coverage in relation to his part in the revitalization of right-wing extremist activity in Kalispell, Montana and the Flathead Valleay area.  He moved from Pensecola, Florida, as God told him that Kalispell, Montana is where the “Freedom Fight”‘s center is going to come.  He held a rally with 200 people in the cold Winter, and inspired the mother of the neo-nazi teeny bopper pop duo Prussian Blue to post invitations on stormfront for everyone to move on to the area.  There’s a good deal more (right?) — Oath Keepers, the former president of the local Tea Party was ousted for posting facebook comments mocking Matthew Shepherd’s death, a group has rented the Library room to show Holocaust Denial films, and on and on.  It is interesting to see Chuck Baldwin follow up Lyndon Larouche, and reading the comments threads for Larouche’s appearances, I imagine how an Alex Jones listener processes the two.  One day, he is gripped by the horror and spectre of the Obama Hitler and the official start of America’s Nazi Germany moment.  Wondering what is to be done, all he knows is that we need to implement Glass Steagall.  It’s not enough, though.  The next day he hears Chuck Baldwin expound on the same slide of America.  And it becomes clear — he needs to move to Montana, and prepare.  How prepare?  Enact Glass Steagall!  AND… if the Feds come in to take the Glass Steagall away, Just try it — the ammo is at the ready.
