Reportedly Reagan was so moved by the ‘Day After’ mini-series that he changed policies and posturing. Not much you can drop in mass media right now. Though, even if someone did the weird right-wing response from various right -leaning creators was to get a ‘post Soviet invasion’ long-awaited on network tv, which did not have any effect as by that time Gorbachev was well on the way in Perostrokia and Glastnot (spelling may be off).
