Funny. An entertaining few minutes of diversion. To recap the premises one would come up if you’re given the prop “Gritty Archie parody. GO!” —
A different direction than the idea floated by the comic book company a month ago:
“The code never affected us editorially the way I think it did other companies,†he said. “You know, we aren’t about to start stuffing bodies into refrigerators or anything. We have to answer to Archie fans.â€
But I guess it’d end up with the same rating. —
Deleted Scene:Â […] Â Also cut? Weatherbee telling Archie “I won’t have any gangs in my school” and Midge, Betty, Veronica and Cheryl walking in slow motion mean girls style.
oh my gosh, i had to watch it twice in order to get everything…
betty has to go “all the way” to get archie and gets pregnant, n gets an abortion
reggie does crack and beats up/rapes veronica?
jughead’s gay and even stalked archie in the shower O_O
moose potentially beats up midge, takes steroids.. goes into cardiac arrest?
dilton’s getting bullied to the point that he started a school shooting
mr. lodge’s out to kill archie
veronica’s parents are divorced?
midge and chuck are together
Also, Hot Dog is mutilated, (apparently a Hate Crime).
though I don’t think Mr. Lodge would ever go as far as to have Archie killed. Other than that, great job.
That last complaint is interesting, as it appears to be a stray. The commenters that abound at youtube and here maintain only one objection to the melodrmatic storylines.
Everybody’s fine with Betty having an Abortion. Everybody’s  fine with Dilton shooting up the school. Everybody’s fine with the Steroids — though, Moose’s behavior is probably true to the comic book.
The only thing a mass of commenters finds objectionable…

Everything else? Fine. But you can’t make Jughead gay!
… I thought that was a standard Chasing Amy or stoner debate / punchline?
