four sentences from the mouth of Michael Savage

And the word “Soul” is dragged out. This was the final few sentences of one hour of that wacky radio talk show host, Michael “Savage”, and the entirety of the portion of his show I heard last night. Savage being probably the most extreme of these hosts, until Glen Beck somehow managed to roll past him.
But my thought here was, “That was weird.” Thank you Fredrich Nietzsche, you’ve all been great! Like Nixon took us off the Gold Standard, we’ve been taken off the Soul Standard. In context I’m pretty sure it meant no more and no less than that.

colbert is GREAT and he nailed him, he got beck!
i have colbert’s speech to the white house correspondents association dinner – he really nailed the press and then current president bush but good
he shamed the press for not doing their job
beck is really a whack job – he was a top 40 dj & a former alcoholic (which is strange because my impression is that once you’re an alcoholic you always are one)
he used drugs and booze to deal with his wife leaving him
“dr. jack daniels” and marijuana to cope” – quoted per wiki, plus they mention other substance abuse & then became a mormon and “found god” (reminds me of bush except bush can put together a sentence)
he even admits he’s a libertarian more than a conservative (lots of libertarians mask themselves are conservatives)
he’s apparently made some disgusting anti-semitic statements as well
quite a piece of work this glenn beck, a shock jock and that’s all he is
savage is astark raving lunatic and that’s why anyone would have him on the radio: to get other people to become stark raving lunatics
look at his exchange on TV, after which he was fired:
“Four months later, on July 7, Savage was fired from his MSNBC television show after remarks made in response to a caller, later identified as prank caller Bob Foster, who insulted Savage’s teeth. Savage then asked if Foster was a “sodomite”, to which the caller answered, “Yes.” Savage then said to the caller, Oh, so you’re one of those sodomites. You should only get AIDS and die, you pig; how’s that? Why don’t you see if you can sue me, you pig? You got nothing better to do than to put me down, you piece of garbage? You got nothing to do today? Go eat a sausage, and choke on it. Get trichinosis. Now do we have another nice caller here who’s busy because he didn’t have a nice night in the bathhouse who’s angry at me today? Put another, put another sodomite on….no more calls?…I don’t care about these bums; they mean nothing to me. They’re all sausages.”
savage is a bigot, a racist, homophobic & he’s attacked children with autism
what is amazing is that he has any audience at all but then again there are a lot of kooks around the USA that probably love savage’s racism etc.

I’m not a fan of Stephen Colbert in general, but he can from time to time pull something out, like that “Doom Bunker” bit.
