Facing the Collapse.
It appears that the central committee of Lyndon Larouche’s has collapsed. It is difficult for me not to connect what appear to be rather massively sized dots (splots?) with one massively thick line.
I refer to those two internal daily briefings, one for March 10 and one for March 11, where Larouche complains about man-power shortage, people taking on “outside projects”, and the specter of Benedict Arnold under-mining the cult. And I refer to a piece his propaganda mill published and spit out for March 25 where he, again, complained about his man-power shortage and his associates (whom he hates) taking on “outside projects”, something which has been reported as far back as last summer as happening but the tension of has finally appeared to snowball into something catastrophic. This is one set of dots.
The other set of dots is comprised of the fact that the rss feed is spitting out a dramatically reduced number of items out at me. Also in the sudden disappearance of “Jeff Steinberg’s Weekly Political Report” for two weeks. And, for that matter, the publication of nothing over Easter weekend. For a year I have been watching to see what functions flicker off and darken with the Larouche organization, seeing how it matches the somewhat bold explanation of the Washington Monthly’s promotional item for the Avi Klein article stating that “Ken Kronberg’s suicide marks the death of the Lyndon Larouche Movement.” This is one of those functions which has eroded, and let it be said that it collapsed in March of 2008. A dark age beckons, similar to the second Dark Age interval of — whatever years that is.
I begin to wonder about revenire’s appearance to steer us toward an Italian dignitary’s reference to a “New Bretton Woods”, and the various HBPA resolutions passed by various municipal and state governments — revenire appearing, oddly enough, March 11.
We are a week away from April 11, the one year anniversary of Kenneth Kronberg’s suicide. Larouche’s belated self-serving response was a call to continue to pursue that magical “Immortality”. The March 25th missive shows him returning to that self-serving phrase, “One of the things I hate about my associates” being that they are no longer working for his immortality. If you read these dots right, mortal men and women are seemingly winding their way to a mixture of mortal pursuits and an entirely different and more sound version of whatever “Immortality” can possibly be, leaving the organization to the mortal task of duct-taping up and covering up this collapse. How? Rearrange the deck-chairs, I suppose. They still have a core of someone in Leesburg, right? Something is sputtering out of their rss feed, just not a whole heck of a lot.
The thing continues. It lives. Kind of. The LYM are running around, however many of them there are, isolated from outside influence somewhat in cold storage, waging theatrical presentations where they don’t quite imitate Felix Royatin because they don’t really know what he looks like, or even quite know if he is a real person, and Michael Bloomberg — who they think is running for president. Never peddling any printed material, there. Larouche’s hope for “Immortality” lies with them, bridged together by what infrastructure, I cannot quite say.

Say It Ain’t So, Barney! Not the FHA Bankrupt, Too!
April 9, 2008 (LPAC)–The foolish plans being pushed on behalf of the bankers by House banking committee chairman Barney Frank (D-MA) to convert bad private-sector mortgage debt into government-guaranteed debt using the Federal Housing Administration, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, has hit an embarrassing snag: the FHA is already broke! Outgoing HUD Secretary Alphonso Jackson told the Senate recently that the FHA was “on the brink of insolvency” and would need a taxpayer subsidy of at least $1.4 billion in the next fiscal year, a first in the 75-year history of this venerable FDR-created program. The other leg of Barney Bailout’s scheme, having Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac buy bad mortgages, went into the toilet when the two quasi-government companies reported big losses for the fourth quarter. Every scheme Barney has suggested to address the “housing crisis” has failed, because it is a banking crisis, and always has been. How are you going to solve it if you can’t even admit it, Barney?

Hey, Rev!
Great to have you back. Did you see all those posts over on Factnet on the Alexandria Federal trial of 1988–the one in which LaRouche was convicted on 13 counts, every last one of them a fraud count?
Did you notice that, just as you requested, the poster was putting up transcripts from the trial itself?
Did you notice that the transcripts said flatly–fraud was involved in every count? And LaRouche was charged in every count?
And of course, as we all know, he was found guilty on every count.
I only mention this because you had requested awhile ago in a post on this blog that someone put up transcripts of the Alexandria trial in order to show that fraud was NOT involved. Apparently someone obliged, but awkwardly enough, the transcripts said the opposite of what you said they would say.
But I thought you’d be pleased to see Factnet posters hopping to it and posting the transcripts you asked for, even if it didn’t quite work out as you had suggested.
My advice is to watch the old bravado quotient. Or, as they teach trial lawyers–don’t ask a question unless you know the answer.

P.S. You say that Lyn and the LYM are fine, but by golly, my reading of recent briefings is that that ain’t necessarily so.
If you have the briefings, read them and I just know you’ll see what I mean. If you don’t have them, well, I can’t help you there, pal.

Just so there are no surprises, yes I have a relatively lengthy post in the docket which I will post tomorrow.
Oddly enough, revenire did just state the prime point for the Larouche organization in that post… ie: the Baby-boomers are all but written off, and Larouche rests his hopes in the glorious “LYM”.

It’s April 11, 2008, the first anniversary of Ken Kronberg’s LaRouche-induced suicide, and there’s a rather interesting item posted by Eaglebeak over on FactNet http://www.factnet.org/vbforum/showthread.php?t=11710.
A 2004 “mail message” from LaRouche to Kronberg.
Also, eaglebeak offers an eerie chronology of the morning of April 11, 2007.
I’m waiting for revenire’s incomparable response, but meantime, urge other readers to check out the post.
Thanks.

Publish it far, publish it wide…:
………………………………………………………………………………………
The date on the mail message is Nov. 22, 2004.
After Ken’s death, a printout of this mail message was found on his nightstand–where, according to Molly, it had been for the preceding two and one-half years.
Let’s be very, very clear who drove Ken Kronberg to his death: the hate-filled Squire of Windy Hill, the Leader of the LYM, the Greatest Mind in History, who has presided over 40 years of stuerm und drang, raising and squandering hundreds of millions, to arrive today at a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing. In case you missed it, I’m talking about Lyndon LaRouche.
Tony Papert, on the other hand, as all the ontological significance of a recording device.
Here’s the message (I added the “sics”):

As I have indicated, I am working at top speed and long hours on my principal responsibility, work which, among other things, will decide whether or not your business continues to exist much longer. Look back to the days of the Gus and Andy Show, and the repetition of that same kind of insanity in trans-Atlantic management during the time I was either imprisoned, or under restraint which prevented me from managing any aspect of business affairs. During both periods, the prevalent doctrine of mis-management was centered upon the delusion, that the secret of the survival of out (sic) political association would be “the businesses.†Over the decade 1989-2000, this trend in thinking and practice deteriorated (partly as a result of allowing the organization to be controlled in a large degree by prevalent, Uriah Heep-like submission to the openly anti-Semitic fascist (actually Francoist Nazi) Fernando Quijano and accomplices of his such as finance faker Linda de Hoyos.)
That insanity entered a clearly terminal phase during 1997-1998, under the influence of an aggravated bit of insanity expressed in such variants on an Enron mentality as the Winstar psychosis and the un-Wise gamble by PMR, which wrecked us to a degree from which we have not yet fully recovered to the present day. Had I not become freed to exercise a limited, but increased role in management, beginning mid-2000, the entire international associations, businesses and all, would have vanished by about 2001, certainly long before now. Nonetheless, the legacy of the delusion that “it is the businesses than (sic) ensure our survival,†persists, a delusion widespread still among all but a tiny fraction of even own (sic) leaders, from that “Baby Boomer†generation, under sixty-three years of age, which is psycho-sexually disabled, almost to a man or woman alike, when it comes to matters of real business matters. The mismanagement mess, including that psychopathological sinkhole of personal “comfort zone†sophistries, with which I am dealing here, is a both a product of the effects of that over past decades.
The source of the generation of all the potential net income actually earned by any part of a combination of business and other entities involved is my kind of politics, nothing else. The challenge is to ensure that that is the politics which controls our association’s policies, and that that kind of politics is controlling over what we do which has direct, or direct economy impact on our association as a whole. With these kinds of captains and generals, no commander and chief (sic) would ever share the responsibility for policy-shaping under conditions of warfare, and we are, presently, indeed, at war.
The world has now entered the greatest depression you have ever imagined. Under these circumstances, your firm has, technically, no technical right to live, except it has a crucial margin of income which it earns by performing relevant kinds of essential services for what I am doing politically, that in my political way. The success of what I do, and the priorities I emphasize to that end, are the only existing road to survival. Unless I can force an expansion of our specifically political, “non-business†outreach, there is no hope for your firm.
That is not done by selling literature, or the like: it is by delivering ideas which are widely needed by most of the population, but available from virtually no other source, the kind of ideas I produce, not mere subscriptions to publications with “interesting content.†It is the political equivalent of scientific creativity, not selling product, which is the root of any possible success in this matter, under present conditions.
I am assuming leadership responsibilities for getting through increasingly dangerous rapids, which virtually all of my associates but very few, including you, are incompetent, intellectually and emotionally to judge. This is not simply internal management; it is political strategy, to which management must be always fully subordinated.
I am loaded to the hilt, not merely with routine, but to supply the kind of thinking which virtually no one I know here, or aboard, can match. I must conserve my energies and keep a clear head.
Follow the lead, and learn to keep your nose clean, as you have not always done so in the past. What has to be done, will be done, and I now have an inner team which is capable of doing that about as well as anyone might expect. Rely on cooperation with that team; you need their counsel, urgently.
