some words about L’Affaire Jeremiah Duggan

Imagine you are Jeremiah Duggan’s mother. You receive a call from his conference where Jeremiah says, “I’m in trouble.” After that, Jeremiah dies. Placing yourself in her shoes, and THAT is why it is an insult to say that Jeremiah Duggan is being used.

I am tempted to just type out the just over 4 page Chapter 39 of Younger Than That Now, entitled “Epiphany”, appropo of the fact that at the end of the chapter, Ruch Tuttle/Williams walks out and leaves the NCLC, which as my Kirby fan Larouchie points out, one can do — psychologically difficult as it may be. The one important exception to that rule in terms of physical ease is the particular circumstances of that particular Schiller Institute conference which Jeremiah Duggan attended.

Ruth is selling copies of New Solidarity door to door with her fellow NCLCers — Bill, Rodney, and Lorice. While doing so, a mentally ill and deranged woman strikes at and hits Lorice, leaving her bloodied and needing to be taken to the hospital. So as Lorice is being taken away for medical attention, Ruth and Bill soldier on selling New Solidarities at a different location. That night:

“No we didn’t tell anyone we were going to that neighborhood,” she [Lorice] was saying, and Bill and I nodded in affirmation. “Yeah, Rodney’s a new recruit. But I don’t think…” She listened a few minutes. “There was nothing I could do. I know it was my responsibility…” Finally she sighed and handed me the phone. I saw her walk wearily into the front room to join the rest of the group as Arlen read from the
latest briefing updates, giving everyone their evening fix of information from the National Committees.

I told my version of the incident to the man on the phone, adding, “At the hospital the police told me the woman is known in the neighborhood as mentally ill. She’s always hallucinating about the devil, and today she was tripping her brains out, too. They were trying to contact a family member to get her commited.”

“And you believe them?”

“Well, yeah,” I said. “You didn’t?”

“Look at the facts: the working class is being systematically destroyed by Rocky’s Trilateral Commission. There’s a psychological holocaust going on out there. This is the direct result of Nelson Rockefeller’s interference in our daily organizing. If you do your job better, the workers won’t be destroyed like this.”

“So it’s my fault?”

“Let’s go over the story again, only this time I want you to tell me more about what Rodney was doing.”

“Look, he was ringing doorbells, just like the rest of us. That’s all.”

There is a dynamic in this account from 1974, shared with both the Jeremiah Duggan situation and the Ken Kronberg situation. The Larouche line is to skip past the human being in trouble and run straight to a conspiratorial spin, conspiracy against HIM — the mentally ill assailant doesn’t exist in that story, for she is a force from Rockefellar. Jeremiah Duggan was simply a figure being used by the British Authorities in their grand conspiracy against Larouche. More lack of humanity is shown in that Larouche never delivered to the Duggans any semblence of condolences until just this month. (Contrary to some observations made recently at FACTNet, a recent news report had the Duggans pointing to something as “the first condolence we’ve ever received from the Schiller Institute” — five years after the fact. Contrary to the larouchepub article recently posted here, Larouche did not “express condolences” from the very beginning) In the case of this 1974 account and Kronberg, we also see the blaming of actual Larouche workers (witness the Larouche penned internal aggrivation at the baby-boomers for their morale problems following Kronberg’s death — which lead to Jeff Steinberg’s invitation for them to seek counseling with … I don’t remember his name).

More can be said about Jeremiah Duggan, and more will be said. The RC Harvey fan / Larouchite actually said “The implication is that the Schiller Institute is a dangerous organization.” This is a false statement. It’s an explication.

……………………………………………………

I find myself mulling the role of Larouche’s Electoral machine. You know that Larouche has an electoral machine, don’t you? He has a dozen or two elected state representatives. They introduce the latest Larouche plan to solve the curenct crisis that Larouche is flogging to their state legislators, which gives the minions that work the street the appearance that something is happening on the front that they are pestering both US congress-critters and average people about — press releases flutter from the Larouche Pub about individual representatives pushing the Larouche Plan to Avert the latest Crisis. Currently it’s the HBPA, the Larouche plan to solve the mortgage crisis.

What happens is that the bills being pursued by normal politicians are denounced as coming from the Felix Rohatyns of the world, ergo absolute evil. Sometimes, after things settle away a politician will speak words that will have Larouche claim as being that politician embracing the Larouche plan. Here, I’m thinking of Chuck Hagel making some remarks about Iraq and foreign policy, and Larouche’s publication saying that that sounds an awful lot like the Larouche Doctrine. (As I’ve said already on this stupid blog of mine, nope, for The Larouche Doctrine specifically had the tenant that it must be called the Larouche Doctrine, and that was nowhere in Chuck Hagel’s comments.)

We’ll just have to wait and see if that part of the occurences comes about.

The Larouchite elected officials also get to introduce Larouche for his speeches and world-historic Internet broadcasts. Must be great fun to be them.

Jeff Steinberg was offering members sessions with Gerry Rose, saying Gerry’s door was open 24/7. Knowing poor old Gerry, that’s just because he forgot to close it.

The idea of Gerry Rose as a shrink is risible, since it is manifestly the case, and has been since some time in the ’90s, that a large part of Gerry wanted OUT of there. My info is that he couldn’t quit because his wife refused–a twist on the usual syndrome, where the wife is desperate to leave but the husband wants to stay.

“So as Lorice is being taken away for medical attention, Ruth and Bill soldier on selling New Solidarities at a different location. ” I am surprised Lorice was allowed to even get medical attention.

Dick Sober died in 1979 of lymphoma — he was not allowed to get medical attention until it was too late. Before his death, he was removed from the leadership of the Larouche org. because he could not “cure” his “psychosomatic” illnesses.

Similar stories for Allen Salisbury, Susan Johnson, and others. Larouche, however, has always had doctors at his beck and call for any medical issue (although it’s not clear what kind of medical help he allows since he insisted he was being targeted for assasination when the prison authorities made him get a colonoscopy).

  3. Rachel Holmes Says:

I’m not sure Dick wasn’t allowed to get medical attention. It may have been that he, like all of us, or most of us, was so taken in that he believed it must be psychosomatic, because LHL said so.

Dick was thrown off the NEC in 1975 or thereabouts–he was legally blind and had a lot of other physical problems, so LaRouche picked on him mercilessly, horribly. Even got his wife to do it.

That was part of the LaRouche method: Try to get spouses to go after each other.

Even when Dick was dying in the hospital, the attitude was that he would snap out of it. And he sort of had that attitude towards himself–a true victim of LaRouche’s Weltanschauung.

  4. revenire Says:

No, people are not denied health care by LaRouche and Allen wasn’t. That’s just Rachel going off for her own, unknown (perhaps even to her), reasons.

I could name plenty of folks that left the organization and nothing happened to them at all — no pressure, nada, zip.

I can also name plenty of LC members that have ailments and get it taken care of. Yeah, LaRouche is the only one who gets to even see a doctor… not even Helga is allowed and I’ve heard (through the grapevine) that Lyndon is thinking of trading her in for a younger model — some French woman in her 20s. Helga’s a bit pricey with all the dogs, the booze, the designer clothes. This model is rich so they can take all her money and old Lyndon can have his way with the beauty. It’s perfect! Lyn can just announce Helga has been giving money to Bush and BLAMMO! she’s out on the street — from castle to the curb!!

  5. revenire Says:

“which as my Kirby fan Larouchie points out”

Hey! Who doesn’t love Jack Kirby? Come on… the Silver Surfer, the Fantastic Four, the New Gods, Mister Miracle, the older romance stuff. The man was a genius!! I love the guy. What can I say?

Okay, back to my work. I make gruel for the 70 LYMers that are in my house doubling the cube constantly. I don’t understand it all because I am a Boomer. Pity me.

  6. rachel holmes Says:

“No, people are not denied health care by LaRouche and Allen wasn’t. That’s just Rachel going off for her own, unknown (perhaps even to her), reasons.”

Revenire is not reading at grade level.

Did I say Dick Sober was denied health care? Or did I say something rather the reverse? Did I mention Allen Salisbury? Or is that old double- vision problem playing tricks on you again, Revenire?

If you were deployed making gruel for LYMers (are there really 70 of them? Amazing!), I’d say take the job! It’s a perfect fit.

P.S. Lyn may be thinking of taking up with a young French woman, but I’d be surprised if a young French woman were thinking of taking up with him….

  7. Earnest One Says:

The late Robert McLaughlin, close friend of Dr. Moon, programmer at Computron, and gifted LC member, WAS denied payment for monies owed. And just at the point when he became seriously ill with lymphoma.

The org told him that they were out of money, yet during this very period various Golden Souls were receiving extravagant gifts of special ceramic dishware, worth thousands.

They told McLaughlin to f – off — to go off and die. Instead, he found work outside the org, ending up as an expert in the telecommunications field – installed, at his last job, as Senior Director of Systems Architecture at Winstar Communications — an advanced telecom that developed line-of-sight millimeter-wave terrestrial links using digital radios in the 38 Gigahertz band.

During the late 90’s and up until his death in July 2000, McLaughlin was able to provide jobs for ex-members and various current members — good paying, decent, productive jobs. He was a phenomenal human being

But during his time of need, the LaRoach’s told him to go off and die. They wouldn’t lift a finger to help him pay for needed medicine.

Good works, in this life, defines greatness, not abstract talk about saving humanity.

LaRoach and crew are Pod people, completely devoid of human sentimentality.

  8. revenire Says:

Yeah, and Moon was no fan on old Lyndon was he? Ask Rachel — Moon probably whispered into her ear like Wills did. She has anecdotes!

  9. Rachel Holmes Says:

When did Moon beam in? He was senile, and living with and being cared for by an Alzheimer’s expert. Remember?

    Get it (nudge, wink)? Remember?

  10. revenire Says:

I read part of LaRouche’s webcast and the proposals for auto manufacturing seem pretty good to me. The infrastructure does need to be rebuilt. I don’t see anyone else proposing it.

This is a fun story, not from the cult so there’s no danger of kidnapping if you read it:

    http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/21276970/

It’s sad. I know someone… his wife worked in the ‘industry’ and was raking it in. Her company went belly up about two months ago.

I’d imagine this scene is being replayed nationwide. It could be stopped.

Where are the proposals to stop the foreclosures? Point me to them. Blog captain? Rachel? ‘Earnest’? What is Bush doing to stop this?

Odd, LaRouche’s proposal – whatever the act is called > send bread? – has been entered into another state legislature. I think Florida. I didn’t know the LaRouche pod people, all 3 of them that are left, were active there. Those guys should be told that it was written by a cult. Maybe they have been.

Rohatyn can’t be attacked because? Let me guess… if you attack him you’re anti-Semitic?

  11. Earnest One Says:

“When did Moon beam in? He was senile, and living with and being cared for by an Alzheimer’s expert. Remember?

    Get it (nudge, wink)? Remember?”

Ah, but I was writing about the old days, when Robert Moon had a role in the FEF. He lived at Sweetwater, circa 1985, with Roger, McLaughlin, and the Howards and son (very fine musicians, truly).

Back then, Dr. Robert Moon could walk and talk at the same time, and if you saw him every day or so, he usually remembered your name.

He seemed like a nice old man. He certainly was quite “photogenic”.

Perhaps his memories exited his head via that long white hair. He was quite the “freak”.

  12. revenire Says:

    Another twisted lie…

You been to conferences where Moon spoke?

Put your photo up so I can laugh.

  13. Earnest One Says:

    Lie?

I have never been to a conference where Dr. Moon spoke. Never said I did.

    BUT:

Dr. Robert Moon DID attend a technical talk/speech of mine, in Leesburg.

Put the photo up? Of what? The old Dr. Moon?

Simply go to LaRouche’s 21st Century Science and Technology site. They have (or had) at least one good photo of Moon, perhaps even on the cover. Glossy color. Quite wild.

And, for sure, he is listed as being on the editorial board of their magazine.

Now, what exactly was that twisted lie?

Perhaps you are being held in a room and you don’t actually read the text posted on this site. Your controllers give you a distorted version and you respond in kind.

    This would explain a lot.

  14. revenire Says:

No, put up your photo as you made light of Moon’s choice of hair styles. Then I can make jest of your hair style. Fair is fair.

I have all the 21st Century issues — the hard copies. I also have all the Fusions.

You just insult me when you state I am being held in a room.

The only person holding me right now is my wife calling me for dinner. She likes to serve it HOT.

    Later.

  15. Earnest One Says:

    Insults?! Freaks!?

Chill, Bro. Land it smooth. Don’t flip the grip.

Moon really did let his Freak Flag Fly (hippie talk, you remember those days). Nothing wrong with displaying your wares (well, as long as you’re a nuclear chemist and not some drug addled environmentalist).

    Proof?

Wild picture of Moon in 1986, from the Fall 2004 issue of 21st Century, page 58:

    http://www.21stcenturysciencetech.com/Articles%202005/MoonModel_F04.pdf

Here are two mores pictures, from that same issue. Pages 8 and 14 show Moon’s flag flying brightly. Page 8 also shows Moon conversing with my good buddy Chuck (CBS). Louis Howard is looking on. She is a sweet woman, and a very gifted musician:

    http://www.21stcenturysciencetech.com/Articles%202005/moon_F04.pdf

Now, that wasn’t so bad, was it?

  16. Earnest One Says:

Correction, it is page 14 that shows Moon and Stevens and Howard.

But doesn’t the good Dr. looks a bit drug addled himself?

    Early onset LSD, perhaps.

  17. revenire Says:

    Boris and Natasha. That’s it!

    Page 14. Okay. Thanks!

    Yeah, he’s on acid!

  18. Rachel Holmes Says:

Speaking of Jeremiah Duggan, which is what this post is about, note the report from FactNet (http://www.factnet.org/discus/messages/4/39986.html?1191079958), from Shadok, that Bruce Director’s ill-advised letter to MPs has almost doubled the number of MPs signing on to the EDM seeking a full investigation of Jeremiah’s death.

They must have gotten suspicious when Bruce said the Schiller Institute had nothing to do with Jeremiah’s death and oh, by the way, the Schiller Institute adamantly opposes any renewed investigation (reason unclear, since the “Schiller Institute had nothing to do with” the death).

Let the cops sort it out.

Hitler had investigations too. Politically motivated ones abounded. People were murdered based on Hitler’s investigations. His courts were infamous for this sort of thing.

Who cares how many MPs sign on to an investigation. The Germans are sticking to their report and the report — as far as I cam comprehend the reading of it — say suicide. Tough luck for Dennis King etc.

I notice no updates lately over at Dennis King’s site on the case. What’s taking so long to get this thing going? I mean this is so serious you’d think they’d start tomorrow. The “Justice” site is also absent of updates.

I see moaning that German law needs to be changed in various places and maybe it will be changed but until it is suicide is the verdict.

Interesting the MPs that have signed onto the investigation don’t seem to have the same zeal in looking at David Kelly’s “suicide”… we all know what the Kelly death was about: he was exposing Blair and Cheney’s Iraq lies. Next thing that happens is Kelly is found dead. “Suicide” is the claim and maybe British law ought to be changed.

    Justice.

  20. Rachel Holmes Says:

This is a hilarious post. Basically it says:

    1. Investigate Duggan’s death? Hitler had investigators too.

    2. Besides, the Germans (Hitler’s Germans?–ed.) investigated.

    3. Ha ha, Dennis King! Ha ha, Erica Duggan!

    4. Moan away (way to show sympathy for Jeremiah and his family, Revenire–ed.)–moan away, folks. German law has you on toast.

    5. There are no updates.

    6. Besides, here’s something unrelated to investigate.

    7. We all know what Kelly’s death was about? (We do?–ed.)

    8. That was no “suicide” (but Jeremiah’s “suicide” was??–ed.)

    9. So it was suicide for Jeremiah and murder for Kelly.

    Q.E.D.

Ever read a more incoherent, non sequitur bunch of rambling twaddle? Me either.
