one last battle against the war mongerers and Marxists
I did see one of the “paid for by the U.S. Government” ads, Trump campaigns with spliced speeches spotlighting his one “final battle” here against the “Marxists”. This one was not the one backed up with music with the lyrics “love me, love me, love me”, so I suppose it is the negative as as against that More positive message. Also evidently an oldie, borrowed from the 2024 race — so the “final battle” is redefined and we no longer know what to make of his bold stand against the “war mongerers”, even if we can always deign to understand the “Marxists”.
We expect the elections to produce something between a “blue wave” and a “blue tsunami”, the problem on the Democrats’ side being that the undecided voters for the outer edge of races are comprised of people who nodded to the first run of the U.S. Government “final battle” ad. A bunch of candidates with a path to 47 percent and no firm grasp on where to get in that last three percent. And there it is a funny scramble, merry amusement on just how much the “horse shoe” theory can get pulled. Texas’s gubernatorial candidate throws up an ad touting a regular voter brandishing her conservative credentials — “I was at January 6”, and Abbott speaks not for her. We do see maybe a match for Florida’s two races where one candidate — Florida’s gubernatorial candidate and Texas’s Senate candidate — stir to win over a slice of the respectable suburban Republican voters and the other candidate — Florida’s Senate candidate and Texas’s gubernatorial — a slice of unrespectable downscale voters. The sets of candidate need each other to cover for the win. On where this goes for them in office — rhetorically, Florida’s would be Democratic governor is bringing to mind Kyrsten Sinema.
We are getting fury at Chuck Schumer for the release of a donor pitch where he talked up long shot Mississippi and put aside long shot Florida. It is a funny upset — two candidacies you don’t really believe in, and sure the wrangling on the “socialist” probably spurs him on one, it is still two candidates hard to figure winning. I guess there will be egg on Schumer’s face conservation day and Mississippi’s Democrat comes in at 45 percent And Florida’s at 46.
