When fiction becomes science and vice versa

We are lab creations by aliens, says L Ron Hubbard Avi Loeb.

Japanese man who married virtual character now on a mission to educate others about ‘fictosexuals’.

Teen suicides are up, and really the question I have after the era of the pandemic and its attendant isolation, forced onto a population without points of reference to steer, and perhaps jammed at the corridors of the MTV video games social media smartphone omnipresent screen staring … How can they not be? One may be fine, two a little less.

Harari went on to say that humanity is in the midst of a “second industrial revolution” centered around artificial intelligence. “But the product this time will not be textiles, or machines, or vehicles, or even weapons, the product this time will be humans themselves,” Harari asserted. “We are basically learning to produce bodies and minds. Bodies and minds are going to be I think the two main products of the next wave of all these changes.”

The “useless people” referenced by the WEF advisor would be those who refuse to be injected with artificial intelligence capabilities in the coming decades. Describing humans as “hackable animals”, Harari believes that “the masses” would “not stand much of a chance” against these changes even if they were to organize.

Actually I half think the Japanese man married to some anime character or other is a step ahead. Many an artist falls in love with their creation — will not let it die. If he is indeed living in a fantasy world, let the fantasy be a reflection of his imagination. And if he finds meaning in the wrong places, it is better than a lot of places people find false meanings.

Just… Step out and get some air sometimes.
