I know they in various crowds and shin-digs earlier in the day, but I guess I missed them.  The closest I could find were two guys waving &#8220;Yah Bush&#8221; signs made out of discarded Budweiser Beer cardboard, but upon talking with them, they were clearly apolitical.<\/p>\n<p>I heard a sign said &#8220;Wars are only good when Democrats fight them.&#8221;  I should allow for the free expression of mixed messages, and not every every should fit squarely into their own camp or even in their own selves, but&#8230; that contradicts the old comment that <i>&#8220;These guys wouldn&#8217;t support a war if the North Korean Army marched down and invaded Los Angeles!&#8221;<\/i>  (Also, I can fairly easily stack the deck in an unfair poll to show an even more disproportinate number of protesters who did not vote Democrat &#8212; based on signage and other factors of style and demenor*.)<\/p>\n<p>Ah well.  Our fearless Student Republicans, rebels that they consider themselves to be, are now freed to their earth-bound duty: enlightening their fellow students by publishing a student magazine with articles cribbed from the leading Right-wing magazines of the day.<\/p>\n<p>(* Embarrassing was the sight of a sign that read &#8220;Wake Up America! 620 AM KPOJ&#8221;&#8230; who I will guess is &#8220;Democrat&#8221;.)<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>What I really wanted to find were the Republican Bush supporters who were supposed to be there.
