Following their victory over the Rams last night, Quarterback Charlie Whitehurst talked to the media wearing, what else? — the 2010 NFC West Division Champions cap!\u00c2\u00a0 I cannot quite tell if this shows a lack of pride and dignity, or a well of pride and dignity.<\/p>\n

Go to the Seattle Seahawks website, and you will see that right there, the merchandise — the 2010 “NFC West Division Champion” material.<\/p>\n

I trust that anyone who purchases such items will wear it ironically.\u00c2\u00a0 Perhaps alternate them with the “19-0” New England Patriots\u00c2\u00a0merchandise that never made it to market.\u00c2\u00a0 Or, the 2004 “Joe-Mentum” merchandise the Joseph Lieberman Presidential campaign offers for sale.
\nReally, these things would probably sell better if it had a little bit of insignia noting the story.\u00c2\u00a0 Something like, “7-9, BITCHES!” would work.\u00c2\u00a0 I guess, reading the press quotes — Coach Pete Carroll saying “Is this fun or what?”, and enter the references to “don’t give a crap” about the nay-sayers\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0— the team seems to be going full force with it.\u00c2\u00a0 Meantime, a fun little google search to go with is “Seahawks” and “Embarrassment”.<\/p>\n
