ad spot, I suppose.)\u00c2\u00a0 For the life of me, I don&#8217;t really know why.\u00c2\u00a0 I could theorize ways her pitch &#8212; <em>Earl Blumenauer is throwing people out of his office<\/em> &#8212; might resonate with the listenership of KPOJ.\u00c2\u00a0 But I don&#8217;t understand her latest ad.<br \/>\n&#8220;Go to my website and watch these videos!&#8221;<br \/>\n&#8230; of, Earl Blumenuer calling the &#8220;Tea Party&#8221; rally names,\u00c2\u00a0&#8220;weasals&#8221; as the\u00c2\u00a0case may be\u00c2\u00a0&#8212; and for some reason her ad drops out just after the name &#8220;Glenn Beck&#8221;, with the statement &#8230; what is it?\u00c2\u00a0 &#8230; &#8220;This is what Earl Blumenauer thinks of US!&#8221;<br \/>\n&#8230; No.\u00c2\u00a0 That&#8217;s,\u00c2\u00a0I guess,\u00c2\u00a0what Earl Bluemenuer thinks of you, not us.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0 Hence his <a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=t9QUiSWbXHo\">new dorky up-beat ad<\/a>.\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Next clip of Earl Blumenauer&#8230; what is this?\u00c2\u00a0 It&#8217;s someone asking his why he opposes such a common sense measure as the Balanced Budget Amendment with a perfectly appropriate answer that might resonate with a different audience &#8212; there&#8217;s, like,\u00c2\u00a0half a dozen conservative talk radio stations to choose from, and\u00c2\u00a0the video for the commercial spots shown on youtube and her campaign website show her next to a local host on KPAM.\u00c2\u00a0 In the &#8220;citizen journalism&#8221; that is represented with the q and a,\u00c2\u00a0Blumenauer\u00c2\u00a0drops in the word &#8220;Opportunity&#8221;, hence getting Delia Lopez to shout &#8220;Opportunity???&#8221; in a tone of outrage.\u00c2\u00a0 I can&#8217;t quite tell if this counts as &#8220;out of context theater&#8221;, but it is slim pickings.<\/p>\n<p>All very weird.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.wweek.com\/news\/2010\/09\/10\/its-on-blumenauer-hits-back-during-ww-endorsement-interview\/\">THIS <\/a>is funny.<br \/>\n<em>Progressive Earl Blumenauer comes in a close second and this man is so far out of touch with his constituents its not even funny.<br \/>\n<\/em><br \/>\nSo what?\u00c2\u00a0 The ad would work alongside the ad played on the various stations &#8220;What is Obama thinking?\u00c2\u00a0 He&#8217;s attacking the good business people job creators of the Chamber of Commerce and the upstanding Grass Roots millions of the Tea Party and Freedom Works???\u00c2\u00a0 Instead of listening to them???&#8221;<br \/>\nZounds!\u00c2\u00a0 The mind reels!<br \/>\nI don&#8217;t know if it&#8217;d inch her vote total up to above the 20s percentage into the 30s, but it&#8217;d probably fish for some more campaign donations in the &#8220;Campaiging as a hobby&#8221; that these runs represent.\u00c2\u00a0 But it appears she has work to do.\u00c2\u00a0 When you type &#8220;Earl Blumenuer&#8221; into youtube, the &#8220;Promoted Video&#8221; choice is Libertarian \/ &#8220;Independent Party&#8221;
