the field guide on the ex-Republican led Bulwark is with a core four 40-something year olds doing main product through the week and a couple dusty old timers off to the side — so Bill Kristol has an hour on Sunday. The weird thing here is this in itself looks boring but Carville will elicit enough response from his left — particularly talking to someone like Kristol — and Carville is good for a couple inciting comments that the clipping commentary will be entertaining at least. And sure enough he made one comment that immediate raised ire, something I can split between charitable and not charitable for Carville. He would just as soon have the Democrats not win the House by less than five margin than the Democrats win it if they win by less than five — and have Jeffries tied to the small DSA bloc. Which — even from Carville’s vantage point, and where he later sheds that second part of the equation in his responses to responses — is insane — it might make sense in a situation where Democrats control the Presidency and the lack of form control of a Congress leads to more dysfunction and no understanding by the electorate on the lack of real power here, but where Trump is in the white house you really do want the investigative power and the dsa wing is not the ones standing in the way of that. As these things go this comment get s some screeds — and I see a link-baity youtube visual from Kyle Kulinski “Carville says the Quiet Part Out Loud”, even though from my reading here — no, the old guy said the out loud part out loud, and has since popped up, reiterated it, made snarling sarcastic comments on “the progressive movement” and had a focused response on one article on this controversy that apparently caught his eye more than anything. The dumb thing is I don’t even think this is the stray comment worth pouncing on from this hour chat — the somewhat bothersome one is one that questions a logic and motive of Alexandria Ocasio Cortez in campaigning in some rural areas of Michigan for Sayed– “so when on election day he will claim and say she is making inroads there for the ‘Progressive Left'”. And … yeah, this is politicking, even on the most practical level — the “Assad level numbers” Trump wins in rural climes need to brought down for the sake of the Democratic Party’s future, no? Also, how are these politicians’ and associated organizations supposed to advance their policy ideas and concepts out of what Carville has as a few advanced college degree holding New York City districts if they stick exclusively there — isn’t that the crux of his complaint?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
There is the strange interplay with The Majority Report of Sam Seder and Emma V-something and on to Kyle Kulinski — and The Bulwark as a whole. And from there something called ‘Vanguard’ releases videos with headline blaring that ‘The Bulwark is in Shambles’ — highlights Sam Seder saying mean things about the Bulwark. I looks over and scratch my head — the outlet continues putting out material, like it or not. And a new one informing me that ‘The Bulwark audience turns on Sarah Longwell’ off comments of somewhat in an interview with Ezra Klein. And on the screen appears to be comments off of YouTube floating around her head — people are indeed welcome to post things on youtube comments — strictly speaking, automated bots are as well. Kyle Kulinski posts something with some image of them and a “Shut Up” and “Progressive Media turn on The Bulwark” with finanglings that they have been “exposed”. If not for the fact that they all misrepresent Longwell’s comments, I would mostly just indifferent here — quite a bit someone on the left side of the Democratic Party could fault on what th at group think — but I am stuck on the reality behind Longwell’s “audio revealed!” comment that ” she would vote for Ted Cruz over Mamdani.” Not a fan of Mamdani for how he danced off of the slogan “From the River to the Sea” in his interview with Tim Miller on the Bulwark, and in the world where she is not voting here anyway she can throw out that hyperbole — she And the rest of these ex-Republicans have come around, and for reasons that Mamdani has betrayed DSA platforms with stray comments of kvetching of some messagers to the Majority Report — kept the police chief. The other weird notes of incongruity — “thought it was a good idea for Kamala Harris to campaign with Cheney” and that event — actually, Tim Miller didn’t… Longwell? I don’t know, but was game to do that event. On the Hassan Piker beat — another exclamation from Sam Seder on her “being obsessed with Hassan Piker” — no she isn’t. She made one commentary that Sayed would be wise to not campaign with him — which apparently the candidate agrees with — and has occasionally made stray negative sentences on him — that does add up to “obsessed”. But. The narrative continues, every sentence uttered about Hassan Piker will be noted and pounded in this political battle and — so it goes.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
A week ago I saw that old man James Carville was on with old man Bill Kristol —
