{"id":5974,"date":"2010-04-30T19:08:44","date_gmt":"2010-05-01T02:08:44","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.struat.com\/election\/?p=5974"},"modified":"2010-05-03T11:06:58","modified_gmt":"2010-05-03T18:06:58","slug":"boring-from-within","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.struat.com\/election\/2010\/04\/30\/boring-from-within\/","title":{"rendered":"Boring from Within"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Sometime ago, somebody or other referred to a particular negative political ad as a &#8220;New Low&#8221;.\u00c2\u00a0 The ad was a take-off of Lyndon Johnson&#8217;s &#8220;Daisy&#8221; ad, which made me wonder &#8212; &#8220;How can this be a new low if it&#8217;s been done before?&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>I tend to view <a href=\"http:\/\/www.truthdig.com\/report\/item\/noam_chomsky_has_never_seen_anything_like_this_20100419\/\">these comments <\/a>from Noam Chomsky in the same way.\u00c2\u00a0 He has never seen anything like this before.\u00c2\u00a0 And we&#8217;re lucky previous charismatic figures that this nation has gone over, in similar circumstances as today, during his lifetime, were all crooks sowing the seeds of their own downfall.\u00c2\u00a0 He negates himself.<br \/>\nCripes!\u00c2\u00a0 The Birther Phenomenon isn&#8217;t even new.\u00c2\u00a0 Warren Harding was accused of being a &#8220;negro&#8221;, and Franklin Roosevelt was a Jew named &#8220;Rosenbaum&#8221;!<\/p>\n<p>Anyway, it looks like Obama survived <a href=\"http:\/\/www.harlemface.com\/2010\/04\/is-obama-target-for-assassination.html\">Larouche&#8217;s stupid Assassination dread<\/a>.<br \/>\nThen again, what is this fantasy?<br \/>\n<em>The crash of the world system is a fait accompli, and the European events are just playing out with a desperate denial for the moment. A\u00c2\u00a0 reference to the &#8220;Tea Party&#8221;.\u00c2\u00a0 Most importantly, a reference to Alex Jones.\u00c2\u00a0 So we almost have something of a Larouchie response to the recent &#8220;Jones &#8211; Tarpley &#8211; Larouche infiltrating the Scene&#8221; commentary from Kincaid and Deweese.<\/p>\n<p>In consideration of the &#8220;Tea Party&#8221;.\u00c2\u00a0 An interesting &#8220;Moment Of Truth&#8221; has just come upon us.\u00c2\u00a0 Immigration!\u00c2\u00a0 And with that the &#8220;Reason Magazine&#8221; <a href=\"http:\/\/reason.com\/blog\/2010\/04\/25\/thats-some-might-authoritarian\">someones depart<\/a>, and we find out that the &#8220;Tea Party&#8221; means different things to different constituents.\u00c2\u00a0 A bit more mixed, I would think, is the &#8220;Daily Paul&#8221; blog &#8212; and the comments there show considerable division.<br \/>\nLast week, I made note of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.struat.com\/election\/2010\/04\/23\/carol-johnson-smith-sets-out-to-become-the-next-kesha-rogers-or-something-like-that\/\">Larouchie signs being kicked out of a Tea Party event (I can link\u00c2\u00a0there because it&#8217;s\u00c2\u00a0at the top_ <\/a>&#8212; perhaps a bit sympathetic people kicked out &#8212; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dailypaul.com\/node\/132893\">well<\/a>.<br \/>\nYou&#8217;ve lost your &#8220;Tea Party&#8221;.\u00c2\u00a0 Or some of them, at least.<\/p>\n<p>Obama as a Joker &#8212; incidentally &#8212; while it originated <a href=\"http:\/\/latimesblogs.latimes.com\/washington\/2009\/08\/obama-joker-artist.html\">with this artist <\/a>(who disdains the &#8220;Socialism&#8221; that was affixed to the image), it was popularized in part by Alex Jones &#8212; and really, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=RnIWSI2tkDM\">you can see how<\/a>.\u00c2\u00a0 Interesting to note &#8212; two images that accompany <a href=\"http:\/\/www2.macleans.ca\/2010\/04\/13\/america-is-angry\/\">this Maccleans article<\/a> in its print edition: the &#8220;Obama Joker&#8221; thing and the Obama with a Hitler Mustache &#8212; <em>and the &#8220;larouchepac&#8221; url wasn&#8217;t even clipped out! <\/em>The National Review blog, meanwhile, <a href=\"http:\/\/corner.nationalreview.com\/post\/?q=NmU1M2YxZGUxNzNhMzFmZmUyY2U1NGFkYTFkNDMyYjQ=\">snubbed Larouche <\/a>by citing the &#8220;Obama as Heath Ledger&#8221; instead of Obama with a Hitler Mustache in their cry of unfair double standards and unfair focus on inflammatory signs.<br \/>\nSomewhere within the scope of Tea Party History (or perhaps &#8220;Pre-History&#8221;, if you affix its origins to when Freedom Works effectively bought it out), was the Ron Paul &#8220;Money-bomb&#8221;, evoked by &#8220;V for Vendetta&#8221; and its reference to Guy Fawkes.\u00c2\u00a0 &#8220;Remember the Fifth of November&#8221; &#8212; donate money on that day.\u00c2\u00a0 The Republican Party has <a href=\"http:\/\/swampland.blogs.time.com\/2010\/04\/23\/republican-governors-pay-homage-to-guy-fawkes\/\">carved it out<\/a> (and the Time blogger has left out the film&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/V_for_Vendetta\">source material<\/a>).<br \/>\nA round about trigger <a href=\"http:\/\/www.prisonplanet.com\/is-it-time-to-give-guy-fawkes-a-break.html\">back to Alex Jones<\/a>.\u00c2\u00a0 <a href=\"http:\/\/leavingalexjonestown.blogspot.com\/2010\/04\/d-is-for-dumbass.html\">Confused though he may be<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Okay, so Howie G is no longer giving me a\u00c2\u00a0back-ways reference\u00c2\u00a0to the mainstreaming of Alex Jones.\u00c2\u00a0 He does give us some good little <a href=\"http:\/\/howiecopywriter.blogspot.com\/2010\/04\/us-economy-sdi-and-ronald-reagan.html\">ret-conning<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Ret-conning\">Ret-conning!<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Chator:\u00c2\u00a0 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.factnet.org\/vbforum\/showpost.php?p=386540&amp;postcount=3657\"><em>According to <strong>LPAC<\/strong>, the next <em>EIR<\/em>, will feature a piece of historical revisionism which centers around LaRouche&#8217;s SDI proposal, as the missed opportunity from the 70s and 80s that has lead to the present nightmare.
