As I skip from Michael Moore’s to “Dude, Where’s My Country<\/a>?” — 2003 — over to Jerry Doyle’s “Have You Seen My Country Lately?”<\/a>, I recognize one major difference.\u00c2\u00a0 The “Left” throws a greater jab at convemporary popular culture\u00c2\u00a0than the “Right”.\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n

Here I would encourage you to read the wikipedia synopsis of “Dude Where’s My Car<\/a>?”\u00c2\u00a0 In part because there’s a good chance you didn’t see it, and it behooves you to know a little bit more than you did before.<\/p>\n

So it is there that we get a further comparison of the celebrities put forward in what\u00c2\u00a0falls (regretably)\u00c2\u00a0into a sort of “identity”\u00c2\u00a0protests for the two administrations.\u00c2\u00a0 The Right were always beating the drums against the various celebrities who voiced an opinion against Bush and against the War.\u00c2\u00a0 It is talk show host (themselves nothing but opinionated celebrities) Laura Ingraham’s “Shut Up and Sing<\/a>“.\u00c2\u00a0 It is Trey Parker\u00c2\u00a0and\u00c2\u00a0Matt Stone’s “Team America: World Police”.\u00c2\u00a0 For that matter, it’s the Decembrists’\u00c2\u00a0 16 Military Wives <\/a>and the
\n“Fifteen celebrity minds
\nLeading their fifteen sordid wretched checkered lives
\nWill they find the solution in time
\nUsing their fifteen pristine moderate liberal minds?”<\/em><\/p>\n
