I didn&#8217;t like it when a certain former president &#8212; and it wasn&#8217;t 41 (George H.W. Bush) or 42 (Bill Clinton) &#8212; made my life miserable.&#8221; &#8212; <\/em>W.<\/p>\n<p>All righty then.\u00c2\u00a0 An interesting look at the Bush White House &#8212; Bush spent his waking hours haunted by the specter of Jimmy Carter.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0Everywhere he went in the Oval\u00c2\u00a0Office, Jimmy Carter jumped out at him and yelled &#8220;Boo!&#8221;.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0Now,\u00c2\u00a0in the same spirit of Nixon talking to the various\u00c2\u00a0Presidential portraits, we have Bush cowering before the portrait of Jimmy Carter. \u00c2\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.struat.com\/election\/2009\/12\/28\/wherein-i-rank-the-presidents-into-four-categories\/\">That may just be enough to kick Carter out of this last tier<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>But, I guess, George W Bush had the last laugh.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.struat.com\/election\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/03\/bushwithrabbitone.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"157\" height=\"177\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&#8230; a better relationship with rabbits.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&#8220;I have no desire to see myself on television,&#8221; said the nation&#8217;s 43rd president. &#8220;I don&#8217;t want to be a panel of formers instructing the currents on what to do. &#8230; I&#8217;m trying to regain a sense of anonymity.
