\nhe brings to the attention that Goldman Sachs is set to profit from the Cap and Trade bill<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Of course, Mr. Goldman Sachs<\/em> would.\u00c2\u00a0 He’s very much plugged in to the trends, and can hedge his bets every which way in Congressional pieces of legislation.\u00c2\u00a0 So he’s moved forward based on that one, so intricately tied to the US Government that he is.<\/p>\n

Not really a good argument either way regarding Cap and Trade,\u00c2\u00a0as against some Goldman Sachs bashing\u00c2\u00a0in\u00c2\u00a0— for instance — the Dennis Kucinich question at the time of the first bank bail-out “Is this the U.S. Congress or the Board of Directors at Goldman Sachs<\/a>?”.<\/em><\/p>\n

Actually, I am left wondering about the greasing of the wheels for support from Big Corn in advancing the great savior “Ethanol”,\u00c2\u00a0skewing\u00c2\u00a0and disfiguring the policy unnaturally.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0 I have read a small amount of literature decrying Ethanol, and a smaller amount defending it.\u00c2\u00a0 My guess is that this geo-politically convenient\u00c2\u00a0energe source\u00c2\u00a0had better match the defenders’, lest this\u00c2\u00a0make “Cap and Trade” ever more useless, and…<\/p>\n

… Obama’s legacy turn out to be one of swatting flies.<\/p>\n

Maybe it matters not so much.\u00c2\u00a0 It barely passed the House.\u00c2\u00a0 Anything<\/em> is supposed to be apt to pass the House.\u00c2\u00a0 I have\u00c2\u00a0a difficult time seeing the headlines as “Legislative Victory”, seeing the future in the Senate.\u00c2\u00a0 Maybe a “Clean Coal” allowance can be greased through to keep Byrd on board.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
