I have on one of my pandora stations — sort of set up with a few “stations” for\u00c2\u00a0the genres\u00c2\u00a0of country and jazz and blues\u00c2\u00a0–\u00c2\u00a0there I feel like putting that on — and a few pretty interchangable rock stations, necessary to click away when pandora throws into an inescapable rut.\u00c2\u00a0 (I’d think there would be some\u00c2\u00a0lines of demarcation for sub-genre, but that doesn’t seem to\u00c2\u00a0work in practice.)\u00c2\u00a0 So,\u00c2\u00a0pandora goes from Talking Heads’s “Who Is It?”, left on.\u00c2\u00a0 Next comes a particularly bad David Bowie song — nothing wrong with David Bowie, but this particular Bowie track — “Sound and Vision” — \u00c2\u00a0grates at me.\u00c2\u00a0 So I give it the thumbs-down.\u00c2\u00a0 Pandora then goes to… Talking Heads… “Memories Can’t Wait (Live)”.\u00c2\u00a0 It’s weird how when pandora is scolded, it back-tracks to the safest position.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
