{"id":20864,"date":"2021-02-24T11:25:06","date_gmt":"2021-02-24T18:25:06","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.struat.com\/election\/?p=20864"},"modified":"2021-02-24T11:25:06","modified_gmt":"2021-02-24T18:25:06","slug":"finally-i-see-how-many-votes-jesse-ventura-received","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.struat.com\/election\/2021\/02\/24\/finally-i-see-how-many-votes-jesse-ventura-received\/","title":{"rendered":"Finally, I see how many votes Jesse Ventura received"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The story of Jesse Ventura&#8217;s 2020 Presidential run &#8230; he snuck onto the ballot by a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.anchoragepress.com\/opinion\/for-the-record-jesse-ventura-is-not-running-for-president\/article_6fdb253e-f15a-11ea-a73a-3bf506d2b3ce.html\">rogue Alaska Green Party<\/a> which, I guess, <a href=\"https:\/\/mustreadalaska.com\/alaska-green-party-decertified-by-national-over-going-rogue\/\">now lacks accredidation<\/a> and is no more (or is something other than a Green Party)&#8211; The Green Party in Alaska having to set up once again anew and bolt out any of these Ventura-heads.<\/p>\n<p>Forthe past few months I had not the vote tally for Ventua, since I had, because Alaska comes in last, so <a href=\"https:\/\/uselectionatlas.org\/RESULTS\/national.php?year=2020&amp;minper=0&amp;f=1&amp;off=0&amp;elect=0\">this one vote tallyer<\/a> was not including him.  But now I see the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ourcampaigns.com\/CandidateDetail.html?CandidateID=490\">tally<\/a> is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ourcampaigns.com\/RaceDetail.html?RaceID=830717\">3,284<\/a>.  I guess this may ormay not include California write-ins.  (That site designates allwrite-ins into one group). <a href=\"https:\/\/ballotpedia.org\/Jesse_Ventura\">Good for 17th place<\/a>, right behind the Prohibition Party.  (18th if you include Nevada&#8217;s ba!lot line of &#8220;None of the Above&#8221;.)
