{"id":19416,"date":"2020-05-26T15:02:57","date_gmt":"2020-05-26T22:02:57","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.struat.com\/election\/?p=19416"},"modified":"2020-05-26T19:08:21","modified_gmt":"2020-05-27T02:08:21","slug":"19416","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.struat.com\/election\/2020\/05\/26\/19416\/","title":{"rendered":"Conspiracies not abounding"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>For what it is worth, I found and then pocketed a piece of paper, crumpled, clearly tossed off a pole &#8212; declaring the truth of the coronavirus hoax &#8212; &#8220;and we can prove it&#8221; was the phrase used &#8212; and pointing to some website or other.<\/p>\n<p>Conspiracy theory gets a bad rap sometimes &#8212; you stare at the specter of the face off of the partisans of the man in the white house against the &#8220;deep state&#8221; and a sudden backing of said &#8220;deep state&#8221; &#8212; because of the jackass involved here &#8212; by a contingent who used to know&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>&#8230; Well, I was watching the mst3k episodes of Cold War Hollywood propaganda movies &#8220;Rocket Attack USA&#8221; and &#8220;Invasion USA&#8221;, fairly sure at least the one one had a check coming in from the CIA and MIC&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Anyway, this glued poster would not be one of those times conspiracy theory has a bad rap &#8212; or, better to say one where the bad rap is deserved.  (Unless the conspiracies proffered are obnoxiously small scale, anti-climactic to that advertised).
