That Barrons article?\u00c2\u00a0 The one that predicted, based upon\u00c2\u00a0cash advantage\u00c2\u00a0Republicans have over Democrats, that the\u00c2\u00a0Republicans would have a better showing than anyone expects and will maintain control over\u00c2\u00a0both houses?\u00c2\u00a0 that which I remarked on and excerpted all that I had available to me last week<\/a>?<\/p>\n

Reading further, I come upon some curious predictions that lead this into hay-wire status.<\/p>\n

Minnesota
\nD – Amy Klobuchar
\n* R – Mark <\/span>Kennedy<\/span>
\nRep. Kennedy has more polish and better funding than county prosecutor Klobuchar, though the seat has been held by a Democrat.
\nHow Much They’ve Raised
\nKlobuchar: $7.9 million
\nKennedy: $8.5 million<\/em>Montana
\nD – Jon Tester
\n* R – Conrad Burns
\nIncumbent Burns is in the fight of his life after receiving campaign funding from notorious lobbyist Jack Abramoff. Burns’ money edge should save his seat.
\nHow Much They’ve Raised
\nTester: $3.6 million
\nBurns: $8.3 million
\nMissouri
\nD – Claire McCaskill<\/p>\n

* R – Jim Talent
\nIncumbent Talent, who won narrowly in 2002, should prevail over State Auditor McCaskill because of his funding advantage.
\nHow Much They’ve Raised
\nMcCaskill: $7 million
\nTalent: $12.6 million<\/p>\n
