{"id":17872,"date":"2018-12-31T13:59:58","date_gmt":"2018-12-31T20:59:58","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.struat.com\/election\/?p=17872"},"modified":"2018-12-31T14:00:49","modified_gmt":"2018-12-31T21:00:49","slug":"in-the-end-no-russian-kept-hillary-clinton-from-campaigning-in-wisconsin","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.struat.com\/election\/2018\/12\/31\/in-the-end-no-russian-kept-hillary-clinton-from-campaigning-in-wisconsin\/","title":{"rendered":"always remember, no Russian kept Hillary Clinton from campaigning in Wisconsin"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.democracynow.org\/2018\/12\/20\/naacp_launches_boycott_of_facebook_platform\">Welcome to Hell<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Sticking to this claim:<\/p>\n<p><em>They\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ve allowed their tool to be used by a foreign nation to subvert democracy and seek to suppress African-American votes.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Leave aside issue number one &#8212; where I have seen it explained that no, facebook didn&#8217;t sell private data to corporate interests&#8211; they gave it away &#8212;<\/p>\n<p>And except for the implied suggestion for the problem the NAACP head has to issue number two &#8212; leaving aside issue 3 on the lack of a diverse corporate culture and its blind spots, etc&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>We come back to the problem of the Russian trolls and their army of Black Nationalist<\/p>\n<p>&#8212; or whatever we can call it &#8212;<\/p>\n<p>facebook pages spouting Russian propaganda to &#8220;suppress the vote&#8221; &#8212;<\/p>\n<p>presumably suppressing Hillary Clinton&#8217;s vote by arguing against her to part of the Democratic base?&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>and, I suppose if we&#8217;re looking at this from the vantage point of that which cost Hillary Clinton the election &#8212; her one percent losses in WIMIPA &#8212; hm&#8230; a concerted effort centered around Detroit&#8217;s inner city? &#8212;<\/p>\n<p>And herein lies the problem&#8230;<br \/>\n&#8230; for a show that inserted the Green Party presidential candidate and vice presidential candidate into coverage of the Presidential debates&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>&#8230; And here it&#8217;s worth looking at the rhetoric of <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Ajamu_Baraka#Race_relations\">the vice presidential candidate they so-championed<\/a>&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>&#8212; the party ticket who, according to the infamous &#8220;pee tape&#8221; report (is that what I should call that thing?) made some juants over to Russia &#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Or we can go to Colin Kaeperneck and his non voting stance, seeing the two candidates of Trump and Clinton as just running around debating <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2016\/08\/30\/opinions\/where-kaepernick-lost-me-cane\/index.html\">who&#8217;s less<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/bleacherreport.com\/articles\/2666244-colin-kaepernick-comments-on-donald-trump-hillary-clinton-presidential-debate\">racist<\/a>&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Because the Russian troll army, such as it is, is essentially aping the rhetoric of such figures, amplifying their message to the degree they can&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;suppressing the vote&#8221; (whatever that means) against Hillary Clinton&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>And if we kick their facebook pages out because it&#8217;s aping Russian propaganda, they would indeed by racist&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>&#8230; or sweeping about too suspiciously for content&#8230;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Welcome to Hell.
