{"id":16433,"date":"2017-05-30T15:26:54","date_gmt":"2017-05-30T22:26:54","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.struat.com\/election\/?p=16433"},"modified":"2017-06-01T16:03:30","modified_gmt":"2017-06-01T23:03:30","slug":"new-silky-new-road","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.struat.com\/election\/2017\/05\/30\/new-silky-new-road\/","title":{"rendered":"new silky new road"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"_cnc\">\n<div class=\"slp\">\n<p>I. \u00c2\u00a0We see the Larouche org making hay about the various mechanitions of the &#8220;Deep State&#8221; against the President Trump. \u00c2\u00a0Hailing recent comments deriding the &#8220;coup&#8221; from Robert Parry, Dennis Kucinich, and Daniel McCarthy &#8212; and here we must note McCarthy&#8217;s warning, which is favorably quoted by Team Larouche.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p><em>&#8220;If [Trump] is impeached and removed on anything but the most ironclad and universally accepted grounds, the country will experience a great paroxysm, not of violence, one hopes, but a much more radical rejection of the political establishment in both parties, and of the beyond-partisan deep state, than anything we have seen before. The crisis of legitimacy that led to Trump\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s election in the first place will only get worse. The brutal truth is that an impeachment is already underway\u00e2\u20ac\u201dnot of the President, but of Washington\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s entire political elite.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<div class=\"_cnc\">\n<div class=\"slp\">\n<p>Yes. \u00c2\u00a0This from the &#8220;Impeach Cheney First&#8221; and the group that &#8212; right until the last days of the &#8220;Existential Threat&#8221; that was the Obama Presidency demanded his ouster to Save the Universe.<\/p>\n<p>Elsewhere we see the praising of the ironclad universally mocked Nixonian comments of Trump &#8212; parsed with this editorial commentary &#8212;<\/p>\n<p><em>&#8220;Look at the way I&#8217;ve been treated lately \u00e2\u20ac\u201d (laughter) \u00e2\u20ac\u201d especially by the media. No politician in history \u00e2\u20ac\u201d and I say this with great surety \u00e2\u20ac\u201d has been treated worse or more unfairly. [Except Lyndon LaRouche\u00e2\u20ac\u201ded.] You can&#8217;t let them get you down. You can&#8217;t let the critics and the naysayers get in the way of your dreams. (Applause.) I guess that&#8217;s why I \u00e2\u20ac\u201d thank you. I guess that&#8217;s why we won.<br \/>\n<\/em><em>&#8220;Adversity makes you stronger. Don&#8217;t give in. Don&#8217;t back down. And never stop doing what you know is right. Nothing worth doing ever, ever, ever came easy. And the more righteous your right, the more opposition that you will face.&#8221;<br \/>\n<\/em>Nixonian or Larouchian?<\/p>\n<p>Interestingly, the obsession of Larouche is\u00c2\u00a0Robert Mueller&#8217;s past\u00c2\u00a0<span class=\"me\" data-syllable=\"pros\u00c2\u00b7e\u00c2\u00b7cu\u00c2\u00b7to\u00c2\u00b7ry\"><span class=\"js-headword\"><span class=\"syllable\">pros<\/span><span class=\"syllable\">e<\/span><span class=\"syllable\">cu<\/span><span class=\"syllable\">to<\/span><span class=\"last-syllable\">rial<\/span><\/span><\/span>\u00c2\u00a0role with Larouche in the big Trials of the 1980s. \u00c2\u00a0And so Trump and Larouche are now joined at the hip &#8212; the &#8220;Get Larouche Task Force&#8221; up and running to &#8220;Get Trump&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>Even though&#8230;<\/p>\n<p class=\"TextNoIndentSpaceAbove\"><em>Lyndon LaRouche today warned that there is a British-run coup d\u00e2\u20ac\u2122\u00c3\u00a9tat in process against the Trump Administration in the United States, which threatens to parlay the stupid and dangerous April 6 air strike against Syria, into a full-fledged thermonuclear confrontation with Russia and China.<br \/>\n<\/em><em>It\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s the British bastards who duped President Trump into attacking Syria, with their lies and false intelligence, LaRouche charged.<\/em><\/p>\n<p class=\"TextNoIndentSpaceAbove\">See. \u00c2\u00a0When Trump does wrong. \u00c2\u00a0It&#8217;s the British who did it. \u00c2\u00a0Got that?<\/p>\n<p class=\"TextNoIndentSpaceAbove\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.chicagotribune.com\/suburbs\/post-tribune\/opinion\/quickly\/ct-ptb-quickly-wednesday-st-0531-20170530-story.html\">So where are the Larouchies<\/a>?, asks the Chicago Tribune:<br \/>\n<em>Anybody else notice that the Larouchies who were out on street corners for the last eight years braying for Obama to be impeached are suddenly nowhere to be seen? Austin has a reputation as a cozy liberal college town, but it\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s still part of Texas, and ambient libertarianism is a constant. Jones\u00e2\u20ac\u2122 appearance in Linklater\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s films is entirely in keeping with his then-normalized local celebrity presence: He used to curate a small shelf of conspiracy theory docs at locally beloved video store I Luv Video and in 2007 screened his work at the Alamo Drafthouse South<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/radioopensource.org\/american-experiment-part-1-steering-titanic\/\">Interesting remarks by Unger. One should compare them to those of Lyndon Larouche and his organization. (Who actually are much more precise. I do remember that, and I was talking about Lyndon Larouche a couple of weeks ago with a friend of mine (who is a music professor) because I remembered something about Larouche wanting the musical standard to be changed from middle C = 440 Hz to A = 256 Hz. Something to do with 256 being 2^8 and that somehow being in tune with the universe. It almost makes sense if you ignore that Hz is cycles per second, and a second is a unit people agreed on to measure time by the same standard. The<a href=\"http:\/\/www.newstatesman.com\/world\/2017\/04\/how-politicians-are-preparing-life-mars\"> maverick\u00c2\u00a0French presidential candidate Jacques Cheminade <\/a>has openly expressed a desire to\u00c2\u00a0build a settlement\u00c2\u00a0on Mars, calling it the \u00e2\u20ac\u0153promised land\u00e2\u20ac\u009d.<\/em><\/div>\n<div class=\"slp\">\n<p>By <a href=\"http:\/\/world.time.com\/2012\/04\/20\/frances-stringent-election-laws-lessons-for-the-americas-free-for-all-campaigns\/\" target=\"_blank\">strictly leveling the playing field<\/a>, the temps de parole rule ce<a href=\"http:\/\/www.euronews.com\/2017\/04\/11\/france-s-tricky-rules-for-political-airtime\">rtainly boosts the visibility of smaller contenders polling below five percent \u00e2\u20ac\u201c including for Jacques Cheminade, who wants to colonise Mars, and Jean Lassalle, a centrist who has campaigned around France on foot<\/a>.<br \/>\n<em>However, for years broadcasters have blasted the strict equality rule as being incredibly difficult to enforce in practice. They said it actually risked discouraging them from hosting political shows.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><em>Communist firebrand Nathalie Arthaud vowed to protect French workers from being \u00e2\u20ac\u0153strangled by the capitalist system\u00e2\u20ac\u009d, while anti-EU nationalists such as Francois Asselineau, Nicolas DuPont-Aignan and<a href=\"http:\/\/gulfnews.com\/news\/europe\/france\/macron-targets-le-pen-over-economy-in-french-presidential-debate-1.2006690\"> Jacques Cheminade enjoyed rare<\/a> airtime<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><em>And th<a href=\"http:\/\/www.newstatesman.com\/world\/europe\/2017\/04\/french-presidential-debate-le-pen-macron-what-we-learnt-outsider-camus\">en there\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s Jacques Cheminade (0.5 per cent), who has been running since 1995 and is planning<\/a> to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cheminade2017.fr\/_espace-cheminade-mars\">colonise Mars<\/a>.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><span id=\"content\" class=\"hei14\"><a href=\"http:\/\/news.xinhuanet.com\/english\/2017-03\/19\/c_136140617.htm\">Three candidates &#8212; Philippe Poutou of the New Anticapitalist Party, Jacques Cheminade of Solidarity and Progress, and the unaffiliated centrist representative Jean Lassalle were qualified at the last minute and will join the list of the first eight candidates that have each collected a minimum 500 signatures necessary to run<\/a>.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.thelocal.fr\/20170319\/meet-the-candidates-vying-to-become-the-next-french-president\">Jacques Cheminade, 75: Veteran former civil servant who received 0.25 percent of the vote in the 2012 presidential election<\/a>.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><a href=\"http:\/\/guardianlv.com\/2017\/03\/chaos-around-presidential-election-france\/\">Any of these candidates could pull ahead in race.
