As per Paul Krugman’s attempt to coax disbelieving Republicans who despair of Trump but can’t get behind Clinton<\/a>…<\/p>\n

Oh, I believe it’s fair to say we’re still in “lesser of two evils” mode, and understand, from their point of view… the “evil” of Clinton is a heck of a lot more evil than Krugman is willing to allow.<\/p>\n

And Trump always has the “Supreme Court!” as a “Trump” card.\u00c2\u00a0 Perhaps mostly for religious conservatives who steer off from the vulgarism of Trump, and perhaps one other card Trump has for an assortment of Republicans is the theory that the veep, Pence, will be the man really in charge.<\/p>\n

I love the logic of this… that, you know… like, somehow the other political idea — that the game being played by Obama isn’t to try to increase the tension in the Republican ranks, increase the fallout of controversy — for a nominee that cannot be dumped from the ballot — doesn’t slide into view.<\/p>\n

Then again, we have an escape clause if everything goes wrong for Trump on Election Day<\/a>…<\/p>\n

The attempt by the establishment media to characterize Trump\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s warning that Hillary plans to steal the election as some nebulous conspiracy theory that he has plucked out of thin air is an insult to objective reality.<\/em>
