Well, this is weird. \u00c2\u00a0It’s a Saturday Night Live parody. \u00c2\u00a0From last May. \u00c2\u00a0On the Benghazi Hearings. \u00c2\u00a0Tell me what’s wrong with this picture<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Representatives Doc Hastings, Daniel Issa and Trey Gowdy (Keenan Thompson, Bill Hader and Taran Killam) oversee the hearings. Issa first expresses disdain that the (liberal) media, with the exception of\u00c2\u00a0FOX\u00c2\u00a0news, has largely overlooked the importance of the hearings.
\n<\/em>The first witness is Jodi Arias (Nasim Fedrad). Rep. Hastings opines that she\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s been brought in as a ploy to increase ratings. Rep. Issa says his comments are hurtful, adding \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Do you have any idea how hard it was to book her, especially this week?\u00e2\u20ac\u009d Rep. Gowdy asks her if she knows what happened at Bhenghazi, and of course she has no idea. Rep. Hastings asks, \u00e2\u20ac\u0153What\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s next? The guy from Cleveland who kept all those women in his basement?\u00e2\u20ac\u009d Sure enough, it\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s Ariel Castro (Bobby Moynihan).<\/em><\/p>\n

No, that does not sound like Doc Hastings. \u00c2\u00a0Being a Republican and all that.<\/p>\n
