{"id":12432,"date":"2013-07-16T08:49:28","date_gmt":"2013-07-16T15:49:28","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.struat.com\/election\/?p=12432"},"modified":"2013-07-16T08:49:28","modified_gmt":"2013-07-16T15:49:28","slug":"no-not-jethro-tull-frontman-ian-anderson","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.struat.com\/election\/2013\/07\/16\/no-not-jethro-tull-frontman-ian-anderson\/","title":{"rendered":"No.  Not Jethro Tull frontman Ian Anderson!!!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Three&#8230; two&#8230; one&#8230; and&#8230; <a href=\"http:\/\/losangeles.cbslocal.com\/2013\/07\/15\/westboro-baptist-church-vows-to-picket-cory-monteiths-funeral\/\">does anyone really care<\/a>?<\/p>\n<p><em>\u00c2\u00a0The controversial <a href=\"http:\/\/religion.blogs.cnn.com\/2013\/07\/03\/the-white-house-vs-westboro-baptist-church\/\">Westboro Baptist Church<\/a> is vowing to picket the impending funeral of \u00e2\u20ac\u02dcGlee\u00e2\u20ac\u2122 star Cory Monteith.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>And a nation gets to&#8230; yawn? \u00c2\u00a0But\u00c2\u00a0at least makes some sort of sense. \u00c2\u00a0(It&#8217;s always interesting to note that Westboro has a better grip of pop culture than I myself was never paying attention to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.inquisitr.com\/850990\/lea-michele-should-kill-herself-cory-monteith-in-hell-westboro-baptist-church-says\/\">Cory Monteith&#8217;s romantic relations with Lea Michele<\/a>). \u00c2\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/wzlx.cbslocal.com\/2013\/07\/15\/westboro-baptist-church-pickets-ian-anderson-show\/\">A bit more puzzling is this<\/a>, which is a &#8220;Westboro Baptist&#8221; news item that will get a lot less attention.:<\/p>\n<p><em>Jethro Tull\u00c2\u00a0frontman\u00c2\u00a0Ian Anderson\u00c2\u00a0can now be added to the ever-growing list of musical acts receiving pre-show protests from the Westboro Baptist Church.<\/em><br \/>\n<em>Prior to Anderson\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s show at Kansas City, Missouri\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s Kauffman Theatre on Saturday night, a group from the Topeka, Kansas based extremist church protested outside the concert, citing Anderson as a \u00e2\u20ac\u0153representative of a world of perverse adulterers who have enabled &amp; justified fags.\u00e2\u20ac\u009d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s just because he happens to be in town. \u00c2\u00a0If Pat Boone were making an appearance, they&#8217;d protest him too. \u00c2\u00a0Also it may also be because &#8230; you know&#8230; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.time.com\/time\/specials\/packages\/article\/0,28804,1877498_1877438_1877489,00.html\">Westboro Baptist doesn&#8217;t like Heavy Metal music<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Three&#8230; two&#8230; one&#8230; and&#8230; does anyone really care? \u00c2\u00a0The controversial Westboro Baptist Church is vowing to picket the impending funeral of \u00e2\u20ac\u02dcGlee\u00e2\u20ac\u2122 star Cory Monteith.
