Ellis \u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0 \u00c2\u00a0Tennessee<br \/>\nOther \u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0 \u00c2\u00a0150,843 \u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0 \u00c2\u00a0<strong>0.12%<\/strong> \u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0 \u00c2\u00a0\u00e2\u20ac\u201d \u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0 \u00c2\u00a0Other \u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0 \u00c2\u00a0\u00e2\u20ac\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Hm.\u00c2\u00a0 Going down this list&#8230; Gary Johnson was trying hard for that one percent.\u00c2\u00a0 He failed to hurdle that psychological mark.\u00c2\u00a0 <a href=\"http:\/\/reason.com\/blog\/2012\/11\/06\/as-johnson-hovers-below-just-1-talk-of-2\">He is now wavering on his two election commitment<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.treehugger.com\/environmental-policy\/jill-stein-presidential-campaign-was-both-dismal-failure-and-remarkable-win.html\">Here&#8217;s one way to look at Jill Stein&#8217;s results<\/a>:\u00c2\u00a0 <em>Stein may have gotten just under 400,000 votes (0.3% of all votes), with her name on 85% of ballots, but that figure is actually over double those received by the Green Party presidential candidates in 2008, and over three times those received in the 2004 elections<\/em>.<br \/>\nYeah, but let&#8217;s face it.\u00c2\u00a0 She&#8217;s in the shadow of Ralph Nader&#8217;s results in those elections.\u00c2\u00a0 To be fair, had the Party wanted to sacrifice easy results for serious ideological trudging, they would have gone for Roseanne Barr&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>&#8230; And this is the interesting result. Roseanne Barr beat out Rocky Anderson.\u00c2\u00a0 Pretty badly.\u00c2\u00a0 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ballot-access.org\/2012\/10\/27\/ballot-access-news-october-2012-print-edition\/\">Barr had only 18.5 percent potential seeing her on the ballot; Anderson 28.1 percen<\/a>t.\u00c2\u00a0 Dissecting these results &#8212; the difference between point oh five and point oh three percent of the vote against that backdrop &#8212; well, even as Barr was a bit of a joke, she had the power of a name brand &#8220;Peace and Freedom Party&#8221; behind her, and&#8230; Anderson&#8217;s Justice Party?\u00c2\u00a0 Interesting to see how it&#8217;s come together:<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Justice_Party_%28United_States%29\">The other result for the party<\/a>:<br \/>\nU.S. Senator for Utah \u00e2\u20ac\u201c Daniel Geery<sup id=\"cite_ref-15\">[15]<\/sup> 7,444 votes (0.81%)<br \/>\nDoes that make it worth more than the PandF Party, which needed a stunt candidate with Barr?\u00c2\u00a0 Who&#8217;s to say?<\/p>\n<p>Virgil Goode&#8230; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.newsleader.com\/article\/20121109\/NEWS01\/311090025\/Impact-Virginia-s-Goode-election-less-than-GOP-feared\">practcial post election day concerns<\/a>:\u00c2\u00a0 <em>On his agenda for the day: \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Rest up and make sure all the signs are off the highways<\/em>.\u00e2\u20ac\u009d<\/p>\n<p>Okay&#8230; the other candidates out in that wikipedia &#8220;other&#8221; category, <a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.villagevoice.com\/runninscared\/2012\/11\/gary_johnson_ji.php\">preliminary from Village Voice<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><em>Randall Terry, an anti-abortion activist, got 8,700 votes.<\/em><br \/>\n<em>Richard Duncan, an Ohio ex-postal worker who wants to avert nuclear attacks by terrorists, got 6,400 votes.<\/em><br \/>\n<em>Tom Stevens, the &#8220;objectivist&#8221; party candidate and a historian, got 3,500 votes.<\/em><br \/>\n<em>Stewart Alexander, the socialist party USA candidate, got 2,000 votes.<\/em><br \/>\n<em>Pete Lindsay, an anti war activist, got 1,520 votes.<\/em><br \/>\n<em>Merlin Miller, who says &#8216;are you tired of the two-party system,&#8217; got 1,475 votes.<\/em><br \/>\n<em>And then we come to Jeff Boss, our favorite candidate who believes the National Security Agency paid people off to allow the 9\/11 attacks to happen. He got 263 votes.
