The arrests were missed in previous searches because the news stories had listed Akin by his given first name, William<\/em>.<br \/>\nOn the other hand, this delay probably is of benefit for McCaskill &#8212; it wouldn&#8217;t have hurt him in the primary, but in the general election you want a sprocket of information to pop up at irregular intervals.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/boingboing.net\/2012\/10\/24\/gop-senate-candidate-rape-pre.html\">Indiana<\/a>.<br \/>\nWe&#8217;ll see if the latest &#8220;Rape is God&#8217;s Intent&#8221; comment ends up mattering. \u00c2\u00a0As the case in Missouri, we do end up with a &#8220;Don&#8217;t let the Liberal National Media decide this election&#8221; element here &#8212; it is something\u00c2\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.buzzfeed.com\/zekejmiller\/obama-blasts-richard-mourdock-on-the-tonight-show\">Obama ends up commenting<\/a>\u00c2\u00a0over, and as the state&#8217;s governor has pointed out with Rove &#8211;\u00c2\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.theatlantic.com\/politics\/archive\/2012\/08\/karl-rove-on-the-defection-of-white-democrats\/261642\/\">there is no\u00c2\u00a0white Democrat south of Indianapolis who&#8217;s supporting Obama who&#8217;s not a college professor in Bloomington<\/a>.<br \/>\n&#8230; So. \u00c2\u00a0Richard Lugar&#8230; where are you? \u00c2\u00a0Can&#8217;t you send a less subtle wink and nod to get more moderate Republicans to break over to Donnelly?<br \/>\n<em>Mourdock tried to soften his comments Wednesday, saying that he did not mean God intends for women to be violated &#8212; only that every life was a divine gift<\/em>.<br \/>\nWorst back-pedal ever.<\/p>\n<p>Tennessee<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/politics\/decision2012\/2012s-worst-candidate-with-mark-clayton-tennessee-democrats-hit-bottom\/2012\/10\/22\/77da926e-1b8a-11e2-a146-ccabc9c85c53_story.html\">Washington Post does its local color piece<\/a>. \u00c2\u00a0 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.washingtonmonthly.com\/political-animal-a\/2012_10\/this_years_ballot_joke040674.php\">Washington Monthly blogger calls the take-away misplaced &#8211;<\/a>&#8211; referencing Samm Nunn&#8217;s non-component years ago. \u00c2\u00a0I would have to fall in between the Washington Post premise and the Washington Monthly &#8220;eh&#8221; on the meaning of Mark Clayton&#8217;s primary victory. \u00c2\u00a0For the &#8220;Did<br \/>\n<em>\u00c2\u00a0Mark Clayton, the Democratic nominee for the U.S. Senate in Tennessee, doesn\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t have a campaign headquarters. A recent fundraising drive brought in less than $50<\/em>0.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.bendbulletin.com\/article\/20121024\/NEWS0107\/210240367\/\">Wyoming<\/a><br \/>\nThat article also features one of those rare mentions of Tim Chesnut. \u00c2\u00a0&#8220;Chesnut is the best nut for Senate&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>The question of Most Irrelevant Republican Senate candidate is problematic, as the Democrats have a hold of big state big markets, such that an Elizabeth Emken of California gets some coverage and some noticeable support behind her. \u00c2\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/blog.sfgate.com\/nov05election\/2012\/10\/10\/elizabeth-emken-dianne-feinstein-arrogant-for-not-debating-video\/\">And I basically agree with her on this<\/a>:<br \/>\n<em>Emken ramped it up when the\u00c2\u00a0San Francisco Chronicle\/SFGate.com\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s Shaky Hand Productionsvideo crew caught up with her. She called DiFi \u00e2\u20ac\u0153arrogant\u00e2\u20ac\u009d and \u00e2\u20ac\u0153dismissive\u00e2\u20ac\u009d for not agreeing to debate.<br \/>\n<\/em>If nothing were at stake, I&#8217;d suggest that this should be a good reason to vote against a Diane Feinstein. \u00c2\u00a0I&#8217;d like the candidates debating their &#8220;no chance&#8221; opponents for the sake of Democracy.<br \/>\nI guess you could murmur at the New England Republicans. \u00c2\u00a0But MacGovern in Vermont gets the benefit of debates, and thus coverage, because the Democratic Socialist Sanders has that belief in &#8220;Participatory Democracy&#8221; that a Dianne Feinstein lacks.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.thedaonline.com\/opinion\/editorial-raese-does-it-again-1.2930665\">West Virginia<\/a><br \/>\nA joke from John Raese. \u00c2\u00a0He delayed his college graduation by a year to improve the university&#8217;s party rating. \u00c2\u00a0Har de har har.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2012\/10\/24\/video-klobuchar-takes-aggressive-tone-makes-another-non-denial-denial-after-thedcs-investigation\/\">Minnesot<\/a>a. \u00c2\u00a0Yes, the &#8220;Get video of our opponent being rude and obnoxious&#8221; gambit which is sweeping the Republican grass-roots. \u00c2\u00a0(&#8220;Ugh&#8221; to the schematic. \u00c2\u00a0Even in cases where the issue is &#8220;real&#8221;.)<br \/>\n<em>Minnesota Democratic Sen. Amy Klobuchar took an aggressive tone on Wednesday when a media tracker for her GOP opponent, state Republican Rep.
