time marches on video games
I’m listening to a conference of sorts amongst some sort of clever video game producers and marketers — some kind of retro 90s flair where their online advertising is going to play off of old 90s video game computers where there’s a kid in a room and “sensory overload” — things jumping out of the tv screen.
“So what we’ll have here is an extreme 90s kid”.
That’s an interesting phrase, and one I can’t quite parse. Has our adrenaline allotment for youth gone down in two decades?
